Yep, I need a reason to play Colosseum again, and this may help. These guys are just planned so far.
Toguro Team:
Golduck (Hardy) Damp
Waterfall
Psychic
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Just there to screw over Exploders, and do some damage. I chose this one over my Careless one because it actually had higher Special Attack at level 5. I'll probably have a Cloud Nine Golduck made, to give weather attackers the finger, as a sub.
Jumpluff (Timid) Chlorophyll, more like Borophyll!
Leech Seed
Helping Hand
Sleep Powder/Attract/Giga Drain
Stun Spore
He's here for support, of course. I'll figure out which move works the best through trial and error.
Nidoqueen (Adamant) Poison Point
Earthquake
Helping Hand/Flatter
Sludge Bomb/Body Slam
Counter
I really wanted a Nidoran male, but this came out Adamant, and has more HP, so why not? You'll see why I have Flatter later on.
Machamp (Adamant or Jolly) Guts
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Counter/Rock Slide/Protect
Bulk Up
I can't have a Toguro Team without a lumbering monster, now could I? And yes, I like counter, even though it doesn't seem that good in a 2 on 2.
Grumpig (Timid or Modest) My Pace/Own Tempo
Substitute
Psychic
Confuse Ray
Shockwave
This thing is why I'm thinking of Flatter on Nidoqueen. It's only there due to it's decent speed and it not being a Slowpoke evolution(the only other My Pacers that can use Flatter decently). If that doesn't work, I'll replace him with a Mr. Mime with Safeguard and a similar moveset.
And for the last guy. I'm at a loss. I can fit a fire type in, but which one? I'll probably just use a DDR Charizard, or a comedy Ninetales/Magmar. Arcanine is out of the question, because I don't have Fire Red. Or maybe, I'll add a Foretress named Muddy Bomb. I'm also thinking of replacing Machamp with a Hitmontop (For Intimidate. If I can actually get one without screwing his Effort points). Well, get to work.
