Madden by far. Blitz was good until they, for whatever reason, decided to make it more realistic.
Though I only buy a football game once every 3-4 years. No sense buying what is basically an expansion pack for 50 bucks each year.
I'm back, I figured I give everyone some time to stop being pissed at me. But that's not what this is about, I had another idea for a thread so here it is; what is your fav't fotball game series?
I'm gonna go with Blitz, but only by a slim margin*looks a game collection*being that its the only football game i have on 32 bits and up and that it's slowly begining to suck. I also liked Joe Montana's sports talk football for the sega genisies but thats not a series.

I'd say Madden, the only football games I have played are Fever 2003 and Madden 2004. The running game was just to good in fever. I'd pick up 8+ yards every run.
CHOMP~
O_o None of those are football...
They're American Football... (aka Rugby for big girlies who have to wear protective gear incase they get hurt)

My favourite football series is Pro Evolution Soccer. Better than FIFA by a country mile. I don't play American Football games.

the good old NFL Quarterback Club series for N64 was my fave, but they don't make those anymore sadly, so I'll say gameday.
Oh! i remember that, they were pretty good.Originally posted by DarkTemplarZ

There is one rugby game on PS2. It is called Rugby 2004 by EA Games. I think Acclaim are making one as well.

Recently I managed to pick up 2003 for only $10 and personally I think it's one of the best deals I've gotten on any used game. Since getting it I've started three franchise teams on two files and I'm planning on a third franchise mode for a created team once I clear up some room on my memory card. I will admit that me and one of my friends were slightly let down by 2004 since we were expecting a bit more but overall we both think it's a great series and are looking forward to the release of Madden 2005 this August.

Listen. Rugby and American football have different types of people playing their games. Majority of Rugby players are much smaller than football players. A rugby player would not have much success playing in the NFL. Likewise, most NFL players would not be able to play rugby.
OK, now that I'm done ranting, Madden is BY FAR the best football game
heh heh, I found out that Joe Montana was a series after all![]()
