hehe, since I've tried a One on One battle already, I wanna try a Two on Two battle now. ^______^
i'm a noob at battling so...hehe, i want the experience

Oh yeah, I forgot about my arena...
Arena: My usual wide grassy plain that doesn't provide ANY type advantage for any Pokemon. There are rocks and etc lying around in case you wanna do rock throw, and there is a lake there for water Pokemon, should you want to use them, but it isn't very deep. A few straggly trees are scattered around the area.

I'll battle you.

Go Gaia (Female Onix) and Demeter (female Bellsprout)! Gaia start off this round with a quick Rock Throw at Syebie, then use a Screech so the defense of your opponents will be lowered. Finish off with a Rock Slide on both of them.

Demeter use Sleeppower towards Tamaryn, then use a Swordsdance, finish off with Sludgebomb. Also use Swordsdance in case of fire moves and deflect them.

Gaia: Rock Throw - Screech - Rockslide

Demeter: Sleeppowder - Swordsdance - Sludgebomb (sub: Swordsdance)

Tamaryn, if you've fallen asleep, use Sleep Talk until you wake up.
If you don't fall asleep, use Dig and surprise attack Gaia, then for your third attack, Iron Tail on Gaia.
If you fall asleep and wake up at your second turn, use Dig.
If you wake up at your third turn, use Iron Tail on Gain
Hopefully you'll be digging while that Onix is screeching, so you won't feel the effect of his attack.

Arena Status: Grassy plain... fairly calm, a slight breeze blowing through.

*Battle*
The trainers arrive at the grassy plain, ready for a fight. Hyperness makes the first move, tossing out two pokeballs which open to reveal an Eevee and a Houndour, both looking ready to fight. GhOsT follows suit, revealing a large golden Onix and a Bellsprout. The trainers shout their commands, and the battle begins without delay.

The pokemon start their assigned actions immedietly. Sybie growls and opens her mouth, beginning to form an orb of intense fire energy. Tamaryn immedietly turns her attention to the ground, moving the earth so that she can take cover beneath the ground. Meanwhile, Gaia has found a fairly large rock and wrapped her tail around it. With a roar she whips her tail forward, sending the rock flying toward Sybie, who is still preparing for her powerful attack. Seeing the rock coming her way, she unleashes her gathered fire energy, which forms into a star shape as it soars toward the small grass pokemon. Sybie turns her attention to dodging, but its too little too late, and she lets out a cry of pain as the rock crashes into her, sending her flying backwards a good distance. Demeter has seen the fire attack heading toward her, and not particularly wanting to become a fried 'sprout, she closes her eyes and concentrates, causing her body to spin rapidly. The fire kenji makes contact with the spinning pokemon, and while the majority of the effect is nullified as the fire is blown away Demeter still experiences some pretty intense heat and takes mild damage. As the fire dissipates, Demeter stops her spin, looking extremely focused and ready.

Sybie stands up after being slammed with the rock attack, and glances toward Demeter, who is surrounded by burnt grass. Tamaryn is still tunneling underground, nearing the large rock pokemon above. Gaia is the first to make her move this time, though. She opens her mouth and lets out a shrill cry, amplified by the hollow nature of her body. The noise resonates around the arena, and both Demeter and Sybie attempt to cover their ears and block out the horrible sound. Tamaryn hears this sound, and though relatively uneffected by it because of the ground, it allows her to pinpoint the location of Gaia. She rapidly digs her way to the surface, then jumps out and slams her body into Gaia, knocking her a bit and ending her horrible Screech. Sybie and Demeter relax, though both of them retain a ringing in their ears. Demeter attempts to focus his thoughts on another Swords Dance, but is unable to muster the amount of focus needed because of the previous Screech, and he lowers his head sadly. Sybie notices Demeter just standing there, and decides she should execute her attack. She runs towards the Bellsprout, focusing her dark energy on her fangs as she sinks them into Demeter's slender body. She then shakes her head, whipping the grass type back and forth, before releasing and tossing her to the ground, crying out in pain.

Sybie grins to herself, happy at making a more successful attack on the small grass pokemon. She then remembers her order, and focuses on creating doubles of her body. Because of the lingering effect of Screech, she is unable to focus well, and thus only manages to make a single clone. Tamaryn, who is now behind Gaia, readies herself for another attack on the rock type. She runs toward the rock snake, at the same time focusing energy on her tail, which causes it to shine with a metallic shimmer. Hopping into the air, she flips her body and brings her tail down hard onto Gaia's body, causing some cracking and chipping of the rock and making the Onix roar in pain. Obviously not very happy, Gaia sticks her tail deep into the ground, grabbing a large amount of soil and rock. She pulls her tail out of the ground, sending the debris flying toward Tamaryn, who has just landed after her iron assault. The small pokemon gets pummeled with the earth and rock, becoming partially burried. As she emerges from the debris, she winces in pain and wimpers. While this is going on, Demeter has been concentrating a glob of poison in his mouth. Expecting to be attacked by Onix, Sybie is ignoring the grass pokemon, and the Bellsprout has no trouble aiming as she pulls her head back and fires the blob. It lands directly on top of one of the Houndour... unfortunately the wrong one, and the fake dissipates as the sludge hits it. However, upon hitting the ground the sludge spatters, and the close proximity of Sybie to her clone resaults in her getting hit with some of the sludge spatter, taking mild damage.

As the round ends, it seems that Tamaryn is in the best shape, though none of the combatants are completely unharmed.

love your reffing (really =) ), only one complaint.. >.< Demeter was supposed to use Sleep Powder before using Swordsdance, but there's no mention of the Sprout even trying to do that. that's about it.

Since Bellsprout is pretty slow (and since all pokemon can hear both trainers' orders) I figured that Bellsprout would have heard the fire attack being ordered, and seen it being charged by Sybie, and decided to protect itself from the damaging attack instead of using Sleep Powder.

Okies Syebie, start off immediately with an Overheat on the Bellsprout before she can move, and then Taunt her, and use Iron Tail on the Onix.

Tamaryn, Mud Slap Onix, Bite down on Demeter, and then end with and Iron tail on Gaia together with Syebie.

Demeter protect on the first turn while you counter Overheat AND protect from Gaia who will then use EQ! Then use a Slugebomb on Syebie as she uses Taunt. Finish with Sleeppowder over Syebie as she loads up Irontail.

Gaia use Earthquake on your first turn to counter all your opponents while Demeter protects. Then use an Iron tail at Tamaryn who goes to Bite Demeter and sweep her of her course, if you can into the pond. Finish with Roar to blow them both back and let Demeter use Sleeppowder on Syebie and if she can also Tamaryn.

The arena is starting to look more like a battlefield already, and it doesn't seem like the trainers will be changing that any time soon. They issue their next commands, the and the pokemon get right to it.

Sybie starts immedietly by tapping into the very core of her fire energy. She opens her mouth and blows out an extremely intense stream of white flames with virtually no charging time at all, straight for the small grass type. But Demeter has yet another plan to avoid being barbecued... she holds up her leafs, and her entire body glows. A translucent shield forms all around her body, with some difficulty due to the lingering Screech in her ears. The stream of fire makes contact with the shield, going around it an continuing in a line for a very long distance, charring the ground and grass in the process. But as the flames die down and disappear, Demeter becomes visible, still holding up her shield, unharmed. Sybie breathes heavily and looks very annoyed. It seems that Gaia and Tamaryn are having their own brawl as well, as Tamaryn runs up near the golden snake, turns around and kicks some sand and debris into Gaia's eyes. Bothered by the attack, Gaia shakes her head trying to regain her vision, but with little success. She decides to attack regardless, and slams her tail into the ground, creating a seismic disturbance that flows outward from her body in a conical shape. Tamaryn is thrown into the air by the force of the quake, and comes crashing down in a not very graceful manor.

As she pulls herself up from the ground, she turns her attention to another opponent. The small plant has just dropped her shield from the previous round, and Tamaryn intends to take advantage of it. She runs up to the grass type from behind and bites into her slender body. Demeter cries out in pain, her body still tender from the previous chomp on her. Tamaryn releases the wounded pokemon and smiles, while Demeter, despite the Eevee's attack, again turns her attention to Sybie. She begins building up a ball of poison fluid in her mouth, and is suprised by Sybie, who has apparently begun to shake her booty at the Bellsprout, smirking. Enraged by the display, she quickly fires her poison right at the fire canine. It scores a direct hit on Sybie, and she yelps as the poisonous blob splatters all over her. Gaia, meanwhile, has been continuing her attempts to clear her vision by blinking her eyes. The golden rock is satisfied with her attempt, and focusing energy into her tail, which glints, she brings it down attempting to crush Tamaryn flat. But it seems her accuracy isn't quite up to par yet, and the blow comes down a few feet away from the Eevee, leaving her safe from harm.

She lets out a sigh of relief, and then looks toward Sybie. They nod to each other, and both begin running toward the large rock pokemon from different angles. In tune with one another, they both jump into the air, tails sporting a metallic sheen, and bring their tails crashing down on Onix, Sybie near her head and Tamaryn nearer her middle section. Gaia lets out a roar as her body is further cracked by the 2 small pokemon. Angry, she lets out an even louder roar, quite intimidating to all around. Demeter, already quite far away, quivers a bit but doesn't move, while Tamaryn and Sybie both run away from her quite a distance. They stop shaking in fear together. Demeter shakes off her sudden fear of her teammate, and turns her attention to Sybie. Still extremely angry from Sybie's taunt, she can't bring herself to do something as wimpy as spreading some powder. Instead, she whips her leafs forward, sending off a barrage of sharp leaves toward the scared pair. They both whimper as the leaves cut into their bodies.

As the round ends, the trainers survey the battlefield. The ground is broken up from the quake, quite a bit is heavily burnt. They ponder their next moves as Tamaryn and Sybie shiver in fear and pain, Gaia has finally cleared up her vision, and Demeter glares angerly at Sybie.

Ok gaia make use of them being scared! Curse up the first round, then use Body Slam onto Syebie and finish with Rock Slide on both of them.

Demeter use Razor Leaf towards Tamaryn and fire a Sludgebomb on her aswell, finish with Double Team.

Incase of fire use Swordsdance.

Yeah, but you probably ment Curse as in the move that ghost pokemon use, that's considered cheap. Curse as in boostd Atk, Def and lowering speed is a whole different matter? No?

Tamaryn, since you're afraid of Gaia, concentrate on Demeter, use another Bite on her, and then, before she can Sludgebomb you, Dig down underground and stay there until after Gaia has finished Rock slide, and then surprise attack Gaia from underground.

Syebie, Crunch down again on Demeter, do try to damage her even more, and then Use Protect when Gaia tries to body slam you, and finish with a Faint Attack so that Gaia can't see you when she tries to do Rock Slide.

I mostly use the Attack List to determine the effects of attacks... only ghosts do Curse that does damage. All other pokemon use the "Slow Wave" version of curse. Basically makes you more sturdy.

And just for further reference, I don't usually get on the computer on weekends, so they'll be a delay in reffing every weekend (but 2 days isn't so bad )

*Battle*
Round 3 of this intense battle! The trainers shout their commands without hesistation, and the pokemon enter combat once more.

Sybie and Tamaryn, standing near one another scared, turn thier attention toward the small plant, who's much less intimidating than the large gold rock pokemon. They begin charging toward Demeter, taking the long way to avoid getting close to Gaia. While they run, Gaia is focusing on combat, glowing briefly. She willingly gives up some of her speed in order to fortify her physical prowess. Demeter is much more worried about the two charging canines, and she whips her leafs forward, sending a barrage of sharp leaves toward the pair, hoping to stop their assault. They whine as the leaves cut into their skin, but continue rushing toward the small flower. As they reach her, she cowers. Both pokemon chomp down on her body, looking like a pair of dogs with a small (and not very tasty) bone. Sybie shakes the Bellsprout vigrously as Tamaryn holds on, all the while Demeter cries out in pain. They finally release her, and she falls to the ground writhing in pain.

As they gaze toward the small grass type, they hear a loud noise coming toward them. They look up to see Gaia slowly making her way toward them, intending to implement her body to crush one of them. Still afraid, they start running in the opposite direction, easily outpacing the now slowed rock type. Demeter pulls herself up from the ground, still cringing in pain, and her rage for Sybie takes over. She focuses the poison in her body into her mouth, and snaps her head forward, sending the purple ball of sludge flying toward the demon dog. Both Sybie and Tamaryn have now stopped running away, the fear of Gaia lessening, just in time to see the ball of sludge flying toward her. Sybie closes her eyes and focuses, her energy forming a transparent shield around her body, while Tamaryn paws at the ground vigorously, tunneling underground to safety. The ball of sludge splatters on the shield, falling harmlessly to the ground as Sybie drops her focus and the shield dissipates. Gaia has meanwhile given up the chase, standing no chance at catching the much faster Sybie.

Tamaryn continues tunneling underground, listening for the vibrations of the large snake to guide her to where she is. But unfortunately for her, she's gotten too close. Gaia sticks her tail into the ground and pulls up a large chunk of earth and rocks, and Tamaryn is caught as well. The golden rock hurls the earth toward Sybie, and Tamaryn shrieks as she is thrown through the air. Sybie doesn't particularly want to be crushed, and using her powers of darkness she fades into the shadows, moving out of the way of the rocks while invisible. As the attack crashes into the ground, the small normal type gets crushed under the debris. She digs herself out, breathing heavily, her sneak attack ruined. Demeter searches the arena looking for the black dog, her rage once again controlling her. Unable to find Sybie, she calms down, thinking that maybe Sybie has disappeared for good. She focuses carefully, and two exact copies of her appearence fade into existance. Sybie is finally sure that all the danger is passed, and she reemerges from the shadows near Gaia and tackles her. Still under the effect of Curse, the tackle has little effect on Gaia, and she grins.

As the round draws to a close, Gaia continues to look very sturdy, Demeter has a few clones gathered around her, Tamaryn stands on top of a debris pile, bruised, and Sybie is standing nearby Gaia looking fine, and her fire energy is replenished.

Tamaryn, now that you aren't afraid of Gaia anymore, attack her with your Iron Tail, then move back to Demeter with a Bite, hold her in place while Syebie is aiming, then release Demeter when Syebie attacks with Flamethrower, Mud Slap the big Onyx. =)

Ok Gaia first use Harden to counter the Irontail, then use Rockslide to hit both pokemon at once. Finish with hitting Syebie with a Body slam

Demeter I want you to use a Swordsdance with your clones to counter the embers. Then use Protect against bite and Flamethrower, finish with firing a Sleeppowder at Tamaryn before she uses Mud-slap.

And here we are at the start of Round 4 of what is turning out to be quite an exciting battle. The trainers are ready, the pokemon are eager, and the round begins!

Sybie runs near Demeter, and opens her mouth, intending to fry all 3 of the sprouts with a bit of fire. Demeter knows that she should block the attack, but her rage takes over, and instead she takes her roots and whips Sybie a few times with them. Sybie hunkers down and takes the whips, and then without hesitation opens his mouth and breathes a series of small embers toward the trio of grass pokemon. Demeter screeches as the fire singes her, and at the same time her 2 clones disappear just as they first appeared. Tamaryn, meanwhile, has been running toward Gaia, and as she jumps toward her, tail glistening with metalic energy, Gaia concentrates. Her body suddenly becomes even more solid, and as Tamaryn connects with the rock pokemon she chuckles as the attack bounces off, doing virtually no damage.

The Eevee is a little irked at her failure, but she wastes no time moving on with her orders. She runs toward Demeter, teeth crackling with dark energy. Demeter, finally coming to her full senses and no longer enraged, holds her leafs out as a protective barrier encircles her. Tamaryn leaps forward, ready to bite, and runs smack into the barrier, which she bounces off of. Sybie growls, and quickly releases a stream of searing hot flames from her mouth. The flames make contact with Demeter's barrier, and they too are repelled, though Demeter struggles a bit to maintain the shield while the fire connects. They both glare at Demeter as her shield drops, and she breathes heavily from the stress. Neither are paying attention to Gaia, who suddenly shoves her tail into the ground yet again, and whips it forward sending a barrage of earth and rock toward the 2. Sybie bears the brunt of the attack as the earth crushes her, though Tamaryn is also pummeled a bit. As both pokemon climb out of the debris, Gaia smiles to herself.

Her orders completed, the Houndour sits down on the ground, relaxing and regaining some of her energy. Tamaryn isn't done yet, though, and she runs toward Gaia to get into range for her attack. Demeter acts quickly, pulling her head back and then snapping it forward, releasing a cloud of light blue powder toward Eevee. Being a slow-moving attack, Tamaryn has plenty of time to turn her back toward Gaia and kick up some debris into her eyes. As she does so, Gaia roars and attempts to clear her vision. Suddenly, Tamaryn begins to feel drowsy as she breathes in the powder released by Demeter, and she curls up on the ground in front of Gaia, sleeping. Demeter grins, while Gaia, vision blurred, see's something a distance away that might be a Houndour. She rushes forward, just missing the sleeping normal type, but eventually reaches the target. She uses her tail to lift herself up, and then slams her body down on the object.... unfortunately, the object in question is the pile of debris from one of her previous Rock Slides (not the one this round), with Sybie safe from harm a few feet away. She chuckles as the Onix crushes the debris under her body.

As the round draws to a close, it seems that neither side made much progress this round. The trainers sigh, hoping the next round will yield better resaults.

Tamaryn, use Protect when Gaia tries to use Rockslide on you, at the same time move in front of Syebie while your Protect shield is still in place to let the Sludgebomb splatter uselessly on your shield. Then, Dig to avoid the Iron tail and the return, and surprise attack Gaia near the end

*Battle*
As the trainers shout their commands to their pokemon, they get ready to act... well, all but Tamaryn, who is sleeping soundly.

As the round begins, Sybie sits on the ground, regaining lost energy in the process. Gaia has no intention of resting, though, and she digs her tail deep into the ground. Vision still blurred, she locates what she believes to be Tamaryn, and whips her tail forward, sending the conglomeration of soil and rocks sailing toward the target. Gaia's aim is a bit off, but being a fairly widespread attack, Tamaryn gets pelted by a few stray rocks. The force is enough to wake her up from her slumber, and she blinks her eyes as she looks around the arena. At the same time, Demeter has been concentrating her poison into a blob, which she fires by snapping her head forward. The poison attack catches Sybie vulnerable, and hits her body directly. She whimpers as the poison spreads over her body, some seeping into her blood stream.

Angry, Sybie gets up from the ground and rushes toward Gaia. Heeding her trainers suggestion, she makes sure to put the large rock snake between her and Demeter. She jumps into the air, tail glistening, and slams Onix hard as she comes down. She lets out a cry as her body gets pummeled. Still plagued by slightly blurred vision, Gaia mistakes Sybie for Tamaryn. As her tail turns hard and metallic, she brings it down on the fire canine. She yelps as the huge rock snake crushes her. Noticing that Gaia has attacked Sybie instead of her, Tamaryn decides to to tunnel under the ground while she is being ignored. She begins tunneling toward the vibrations of the large Onix on the surface. Meanwhile, Demeter once more builds up poison in her mouth. While she doesn't have a visual on Sybie, she know's that she is hiding somewhere behind Gaia. She makes her best guess and launches her Sludge Bomb over Gaia and onto the ground behind. The hit was actually pretty accurate, and though not a direct hit Sybie does take minor damage from the splatter.

Acting quickly, Sybie quickly jumps over Gaia and rushes toward Demeter, ready to attack. After a few more blinks, Gaia's vision is finally cleared, and she quickly searches the arena for her target. She quickly discovers that Tamaryn is nowhere to be found. Frowning, she slumps down and rests herself instead of attacking. Sybie continues to rush toward Demeter, but having to travel a fair distance to reach the Bellsprout gives the grass type her chance. She quickly sprays a stream of light blue spores toward the rushing dog. As Sybie runs through the attack, she begins to get drowsy. She still manages to reach her and take a quick bite, her teeth surrounded by dark energy, but she doesn't get to complete the entire attack before her fatigue takes over and she drops to the ground, curling up for a nap and dropping Demeter in the process. Just as Gaia and Demeter think the round is over, Tamaryn bursts out of the ground beneath Gaia, slamming her in the face before she lands on the ground and grins. Gaia glares on at the small Eevee, towering over her.

As the round draws to a close, Sybie continues to sleep calmly on the ground. Demeter smiles briefly, glad to have avoided the brunt of yet another painful attack. Tamaryn and Gaia appear to be in a bit of a staring match.

The way I ref it, the pokemon takes a mandatory 3 turns (full round), during which time it can take no action, and then after those 3 turns it will have 30% energy and be able to act again.

It seems a couple of the pokemon are running out of steam, but the trainers have no such problem. They shout their commands to their pokemon, who nod and face one another once more.

Sybie, sleeping soundly, suddenly starts moving in her sleep. She stands up and, surrounded by dark energy, charges Demeter (Pursuit, 4% to Demeter). After the charge, she drops back to the ground, still sleeping soundly. The Bellsprout blinks in suprise at being attacked by the sleeping pooch, but quickly carries out her order. She opens her mouth, blowing out a blue powder toward Tamaryn. The Eevee, unaware of the powder, turns around and kicks her feet at the ground, sending a bit of sand and debris flying up toward Gaia. Acting without hesitation, Gaia uses her tail to send a much larger bunch of sand right back toward Tamaryn. The two collide, and the much larger attack by Gaia overtakes the other, both now flying back toward the normal type. She coughs and blinks as the debris covers her, getting in her eyes and mouth (2% to Tamaryn). As she coughs, the powder from Demeter reaches her, but the sand and dust, along with her coughing, prevent her from breathing enough of the spores to fall asleep.

Now covered in dust and with blurred vision, Tamaryn decides to rely on her hearing instead. She listens carefully, and hears Gaia slam her tail into the ground. Familiar with the motion, she focuses, errecting a transparent, round shield around her body. As Gaia whips her tail around, tossing the chunk of earth at the Eevee. The debris bounces off the shield, scattering around her but not harming her. As she hears the attack stop, she drops her concentration and starts pawing at her eyes, trying to clear her vision. Gaia chuckles a bit, glad that someone other than herself is having troubles. Sybie, at the same time, is once again stirring in her sleep. She stands up once more, and suddenly hurls herself toward the small grass type, who has been building up another poison glob in her mouth. Sybie slams her body onto Bellsprout, holding her in place (Body Slam, 8% to Demeter). Stuck under Sybie's body, Demeter struggles, and then fires her Sludge Bomb point-blank into Sybie's face (8% to Sybie). The force of the attack knocks her away, and also jarrs her out of sleep. She shakes her head, sending the poison goo splattering over the ground, and looks around questioningly. Demeter breathes heavily, happy to have the dog no longer crushing her small body.

Now aware of her surroundings, Sybie looks at Demeter, growling. She jumps at her, teeth crackling with a black energy. She grabs the fragile 'sprout in her mouth and viciously shakes her around like a chew toy, before dropping her on the ground and barking (12% to Demeter). Bellsprout slowly pulls herself off the ground, groaning in agony, and begins building poison in her mouth yet again. With one fluid (albeit painful) motion she snaps her head forward, sending the sludge flying at Sybie. It splatters all over the black pokemon, causing her to yelp in pain as she hunkers down and winces (9% to Sybie). Demeter looks on a bit dazed, breathing heavily. On the other side of the arena, Tamaryn is still relying on hearing to determine what to do. She once more hears the familiar preparation for Gaia's Rock Slide, and once more erects a protective orb around her body. As the Onix flicks her tail, sending a barrage of soil and rocks at Eevee, she braces for impact. Initially, the debris bounces off, but the increased strain from using her shield twice in a row causes it to fail halfway through. The energy in the shield shatters, and the remainder of the attack pelts her body (5% to Tamaryn). She wimpers, wishing she hadn't used her shield again, and still blinded.

As the 6th round draws to a close, Tamaryn continues to rub her eyes with her paws. Sybie winces as the poison in her body continues to harm her from the inside (3% to Sybie). Gaia simply looks on, in good shape, while Demeter looks exausted and her body appears in bad shape.

Tamaryn dear, do run over to the lake nearby and wash out your eyes. Then, before Gaia uses Earthquake, run to her and hop up onto her, so you won't be damaged by the attack. Then, finish off with an Iron Tail while you're on Gaia. Hopefully this way you won't use so much energy

Syebie, Protect against the two attacks, you've only used Protect once before, so it should be pretty effective. Then, do the same as Tamaryn, run onto the Onix and stay on her so you won't be harmed by the two earthquakes, she'll just be wasting energy, and then Iron Tail her too.

It seems that both sides are starting to wear down as Round 7 comes. The trainers shout their commands, each hoping to gain the upper hand, as the pokemon nod in reply.

Expecting some powerful attacks, Sybie quickly concentrates. As she does, a protective shield forms around her body. Both Gaia and Demeter look at her, ready to attack. Gaia uses her tail to scoop up a bunch of soil and rocks, which she hurls toward Sybie, intending to crush her. But before she does that, Demeter builds up one final attack, poison building up in her mouth as she snaps her head forward, sending a bomb of sludge flying at the dark dog. The poison splatters on the shield, flying everywhere, and shortly after the barrage of rocks slam against the shield, pelting it. Sybie growls, struggling to maintain the shield, but she manages to do so. She breathes heavily as the attacks cease, and she allows the shield to disappear. While this happens, Tamaryn listens for the water of the pond. She quickly rushes to it, and uses the water to wash out her eyes. She looks back toward the other 3 combatants, vision restored.

Demeter breathes rapidly, nearly collapsing from exaustion. Happy with her performance, MLG pulls out her pokeball, shouting "Demeter, good job, return" as a red beam shoots out, recalling the wounded grass type from this battle. Knowing that she is now alone in this battle, Gaia turns her attention to Sybie... who is running straight toward her, as is Tamaryn. Acting quickly, Gaia raises her tail. She slams it on the ground, creating a seismic disturbance toward the fire type. Knowing what's coming, Sybie jumps into the air just as Gaia's tail hits the ground, and just barely reaches the rock type. She lands on the snake's back, having avoided the attack. In a few moments, Tamaryn too jumps on top of Onix, and runs over to Sybie. They nod to each other as the earthquake dies down, not doing anything to either of them.

Having felt the 2 canines land on her back, Gaia twists her body around and looks at them. She wiggles around a bit, trying to throw the pair off. Plenty strong, Tamaryn easily resists the attempts, staying firmly on top of Gaia. Sybie, on the other hand, is quite tired. She tries to stay on top, but she loses her footing and tumbles off. Gaia grins as she raises her tail once more, slamming it into the ground. The ensuing quake throws Sybie into the air, only to come crashing back down, yelping as she hits the hard earth (13% to Sybie). Tamaryn watches as her friend is slammed into the ground, then angry turns her attention to Gaia. She runs toward the rock snake's head, tail glistening with metal energy. Jumping into the air, she lets out a cry as she flips her body around, bringing her tail crashing down right between Gaia's eyes (12% to Gaia). She lets out a roar as she shakes her head in pain, and Tamaryn lands gracefully on the ground and turns to face the snake. Sybie slowly pulls herself up from the ground, and runs toward the roaring rock, also focusing steel energy into her tail. Like Tamaryn, she jumps into the air, flipping and bringing her tail down painfully, this time on Onix's body (9% to Gaia). She continues roaring in pain, body cracking under the impact.

As the round ends, both of the dogs glare at Onix. Sybie breaths heavily, hurt and tiring, and also whimpers as the poison continues flowing through her body (3% to Sybie). Gaia know's that she is going to have a tough time, facing 2 against 1, and also is breating quite heavily, her body quickly tiring.

The large rock snake Gaia faces the 2 dogs all alone. What does her trainer have in mind to overcome these dire odds? He shouts his command, and so does HIAGT, and what will likely be the final round begins.

The exausted Houndour lays on the ground, resting herself. Tamaryn is about to attack Gaia, when suddenly the large Onix starts glowing brightly. Both pokemon look a bit confused, and then all of a sudden waves of intense energy start radiating off Gaia. Tamaryn and Sybie yelp as the energy blasts them, accompanied by a loud booming. As the energy pulses through the arena, destroying everything around, its unclear what has happened to the 3 pokemon. Finally the energy stops, and the dust starts to clear... slowly, the 3 pokemon become visible. First Sybie, who is lying on the ground unconcious and charred. HIAGT looks on eagerly, wondering what has become of her second pokemon. Gaia becomes visible, also lying on the ground completely unconcious. For a while no one see's Tamaryn... was she vaporized? Suddenly, there's a stiffled cry as Tamaryn emerges from one of the holes. She is in immense pain, but still determined not to give up.

With all other combatants KO'd, Tamaryn is the only one left standing. HIAGT is the winner of this intense double battle. She rushes to the side of Tamaryn after recalling her fallen Houndour, comforting the normal type, and congratulating her for a job well done.
