    In 2vs2, can you Baton Pass onto the Pokemon that you're teaming up with?

    Another question: can you pass characteristics?

    For example, that Uber-fast bug's characteristic is Acceleration. Its speed goes up every turn. Can you BP the speed-up? I hope so. *readies Swords Dance/Baton Pass fast bug-thing*

    I highly doubt you can BP characteristics. In GSC, only status changes could be Baton Passed, and characteristics are not status changes. For the 2v2, I don't think you can BP to your other pokemon. Baton Passing always switches out your pokemon, so it wouldn't work.
