    Talking `*`Epiphany`*` (SIGN-UPS)


    Epiphany


    In Evenesta, the land is rich, beautiful and lush. Large sweeping valleys glisten against the sun while thick forests surround towering crisp mountains and fresh lakes. The air itself is clean and refreshing and the weather is well-balanced to create a dynamic atmosphere. It would seem that the land is quite harmonious, but that would only be within the vegetation.
    While most conflicts are avoided, there are creatures that dwell within the forest that do not get along. The Wisterscene Pack and the Sunterlan Alliance would be two groups that have had conflicts. While they have clear cut borders; sharing resources and food amongst the land is something that has caused both factions to step on toes. Often a few members of each faction will get out of hand and small attacks happen, but usually they are quieted as soon as they have started.
    Not all is about conflict between eachother. The Wisterscene Pack and the Hawnstine Flock have had peace for decades, and usually ally together to fight extremely harsh winters and droughts- which is the biggest threat to all factions and alliances. While the land of Evenesta is quite beautiful and bountiful with plant life during the summer; the winters are twice as harsh and deal crippling blows to animals that are not ready or caught off guard.
    However, the animals are not left simply to their own physical restrictions. Evenesta is rich in magic and the animals are not bound to one form. All animals have two natural forms. One of them is (what we would view) their more 'beastial form'- four legged, furred/feathered, and useful for traveling. The other is more humanoid- useful for creating shelters when natural ones are not around and the forms allows easier channeling of magic. Both forms are unique to their own species and like their own coats, each humanoid form is unique to the individual.

    With magic and nature, the land of Evenesta is filled with fantastical adventure at every turn. And as each season comes and goes, the land grows closer to its greatest enemy yet...




    I hope this intro was rather self-explanitory. In this RPG, you will be playing an animal in Evenesta. Each species is part of a 'group' (and to make things easier, there is only one group per species). There are roles in every group... so you'll need leaders, elders and individuals with unique abilities that would benefit the group. The sign-up form will help you understand it a little better. Also, magic is unique in this RPG as well. In animal form, it is more difficult to create magic and magic usage is minor. In human form, it is easier. The type of magic your character uses is unique to every individual.

    THE LORE OF MAGIC:
    When every animal comes of age where they can use magic, they go to a small, neutral patch of land that has the "Divinity Rock." There the animal is to transform into their human selves and stay there for 2 days and 2 nights. After this is completed, each animal is given an epiphany in which they learn what type of magic they may master. (Every animal has had this epiphany, they do not know where it comes from. Some believe in Gods, others believe it to be the will of the land.) Keep in mind that all animals are born with the ability to transform into an alter humanoid form, and it is not considered to be 'magic'. When an animal learns what type of magic they may learn, they naturally and slowly progress with that type of magic by practicing or meditating. It is really a personal preference as to how they gain more knowledge.


    The 'greatest enemy' will be revealed later on in the RPG. I'd like to focus more on the conflict of winter and conflicts between the different animal groups at first. I must stress that there are no HUMANs in this RPG.


    THE GROUPS

    Wisterscene Pack - Wolves, Foxes
    The Wisterscene Pack is known for being very diplomatic and having strong bonds. Their territory is quite large, covering a few valleys and lakes but the majority of their territory is in forested areas and mountains. All Wisterscene wolves and foxes have excellent endurance and a sense of smell. They also are known for being able to react the fastest to crisis with their communicational abilities.


    Hawnstine Flock - Predatory Birds
    The Hawnstine Flock is known for being very neutral in relations to most other groups. They live in the forests and on the mountains and occassionally stay in other lands while in animal form. They deliver messages for other factions and do far-reaching deliveries for faction, while in return they are allowed to live in the territories of other groups. They are known for their surpreme ability of flight and sight. They also are the most sensitive to weather changes.


    Sunterlan Alliance - Cougars, Lynx, Bobcats

    The Sunterlan Alliance is known for keeping to themselves and do not like to have many open relations. They live in the forests and mountains, while occasionally going into the marshlands. They have an excellent sense of hearing and are extremely agile. They also are the most stealthy, able to climb trees with some ease.


    Cantergon Herd - Elk, Deer, Moose

    The Cantergon Herd is known for staying away from all predatory groups and constantly moving. They live everywhere but tend to stay in the valleys where they can see things easily. They are extremely fast and best organized- having many different sub-species amongst their group. They are the best when it comes to defense and while they are generally open minded (they often make a few summer-time pacts with the Wisterscene Pack and Sunterland Alliance.), they keep an eye on almost everyone. They usually have the most information about the inner-goings of every faction.


    Jumilian Commune - Rabbits, Squirrels and small herbivores.

    The Jumilian Commune is known for not having any territory and being extremely large. They live everywhere and have an underground system at which they travel in case of emergencies. They're known for having an great sense of instinct (think spidey sense) and reflexes.


    Belvelion Faction - Snakes

    The Belvelion Faction is known for living in the marshlands and valleys. They are extremely stealthy and have an excellent sense of 'vitals' in other creatures. They also are extremely witty and usually known to be the hardest to understand of all the groups. They are sometimes often hired to infiltrate other factions for information.


    NOTE: Fish, amphibians, reptiles(except for the snakes) and insects are considered 'Reneds'. This is a term that basically means 'Without Magic'. They act like they do on earth and do not have speech, advanced thought or magic.

    Position: (What is your job in your group? Are you a patroller or a scout? Are you a protector who fights for the pack if it is attacked? Do you lead any particular group (such as the leader of the Protectors?) Are you an elder who helps make vital decisions? Be creative!)
    Appearance: (Have fun with this one. Remember to include your humanoid form. Humanoid forms should be exactly that- LIKE a human. Feel free to keep their tails and ears and such. Make sure to give them some traits of their species in their human forms.)

    Name: Carbrona
    Species: King Cobra
    Group: Belvelion Faction
    Age: somewhere in his twenties
    Magic: Venom – While most snakes have a natural venom, Carbona is different. He has the power to infect something with venom almost by simply touching it. For example, he can poison and apple and then give the poisoned fruit to an enemy. In order to infect a fellow animal though, there must be a wound of some kind for him to infect. Also, Carbrona has the ability to determine what effect the venom has. It can simple cause hallucinations, sleepiness or paralysis. It can also lead to death, however, this will take a long time and be countered if it's treated quick enough. Apart from killing or effecting people’s minds, there seems to be no positive effect of this form of magic.
    Position: He’s an infiltrator, one of the many normally hired to spy on the other groups.
    Appearance: In his animal form, Carbrona resembles your average King Cobra, but with on differences. While he has the normal pale olive colouring with a pale yellow underbelly, there are also streaks of a bright purple across his body. It’s said that these streaks appeared when he had his Epiphany and is the result of his venom magic.

    His humanoid form bears similar characteristics. He’s about 5’7’’ with a lean build, pale olive skin and he has the same yellow, reptilian eyes of his previous form. His hair is a pale blonde with bright purple streaks, in a style similar to that of a cobra’s hood. He retains the fangs of a cobra, though you can only see them when he opens his mouth. His hair also hides the fact that he has the ears of a snake, but apart from that he’s quite handsome.
    Personality: Cold, distant, and often considered cruel by other animals. Often alone, even amongst his fellow snakes, he believes that he’s meant to bring great things to the Belvelion Faction, due to the Epiphany he had. He holds a deal of disdain towards the other groups, feeling that they only tolerate the faction due to their talents as spies, and leaving them to fend for themselves in the harsher months. While often told not to by the elders, Carbrona feels the need to use his magic when he can. Like other snakes in the faction, he’s crossed other snakes out of his diet, focusing on eating mainly birds and small animals.
    Talents: Like every other member of the Belvelion Faction, Carbrona mainly relies on stealth. However, due to his distinct colouring, Carbrona’s had to take this up a not, staying out of sit, even when he strikes. This has made him one of the best infiltrators in the faction. He also has a talent for wood carving, born from countless lonely hours of boredom.
    Relations/History: For the most part, Carbona’s childhood wasn’t any different from that of any other snake in the Belvelion Faction. However, his path takes a unique turn when he came of age, and went to the Divine Rock. During his Epiphany, Carbrona believed he had been visited by a snake diety, and when he awoke, he bared to distinct purple markings he would carry for the rest of his life. After discovering and mastering the magics of venom, Carbrona believed that he was to use these powers to bring great things to the Belvelion Faction. However, the Elders saw it differently. Believing that only grief could come from his powers, the Elders tried to coerce him from using them, stating he only should use them when absolutely neccasary. Some grew to believe that he had gained a taint of some sort, since his powers could only kill, not help.

    Due to his isolation, Carbrona developed a coldness towards everyone, especially those outside the faction. While he feels the Elders are wrong, he refuses to use his powers to hurt them, still believing that he was to help them, not harm them. Many members of other groups often consider Carbrona to be evil, and a big block on the Belvelion Faction’s name. He’s normally alone, not bothering to socialize with others, instead just spending his time carving things out of wood to pacify his boredom between jobs.
    Other: Carbrona has quite a collection of wood carvings, and though he has to leave a number of them behind, he always tries to make sure they’re kept safe before leaving them.


    Do our human forms have to include clothes as well. If so, I'll edit it. There's also something I want to ask you, but I'll pm you if you accept Carbrona's venom magic. otherwise, nevermind.

    Name: Mika
    Species: female European Rabbit
    Group: Jumilian Commune
    Age: equivilent of a human young adult
    Magic: Mika's punches and kicks can be powered by earth energy to make them stronger. Mostly used to clear cave ins and other obstacles, but can be handy in case of battle.
    Position: Foreman of the tunnel construction crew (if I can word it like that).
    Appearance: European Rabbit. Her humanoid form is short, only five feet tall, with a medium build. Her shoulder length black hair is always unkempt and she never makes an attempt to groom it. She keeps her oversized incisor teeth and ears, as well as the claws on her hands. Her arms are scarred from previous accidents underground as well as incidents above.
    Personality: Since she usually keeps to herself when she's not on the job, others rarely see the more lighthearted side of her. Is always ready to take command of a situation. She can surprise someone by making a joke every now and then.
    Talents: Excellent navigation skills and visual memory.
    Relations/History: Relations are open. Mika is the oldest of eight brothers and sisters (she thinks), and all of them are scattered across Evenesta. Her parents succumbed to the harsh winter the year after she left the burrow.

    Mystic_Clown: Accepted, however I think your venom should have an adjustment. I don't think you can have an 'instant kill' venom, but rather it slowly works its way through the body if it is meant to kill them- or you could say that it would instantly kill a weak-spirited person, but might not kill them if their strong. This way your character isn't overpowered.

    Also, no... they don't have clothes. They can have little trinkets and thinks that can stay on them when they transform. Clothes would rip or bind them up.

    Name: Ecor
    Species: Red Wolf
    Group: Wisterscene
    Age: upper twenties
    Magic: He has the ability of Foresight, giving him visions of the immediate future that deal with danger or good fortune to the clan. He can't control when he uses his powers and his premonitions only deal with immediate threats, not things that could become threats farther down the line (A spy would go unnoticed, but a raiding party wouldn't). The farthest in the future he's been able to see is an hour. It should be noted that his 'visions' can just come up as general gut feelings. He doesn't realize it, but others might have guessed that when he doesn't like a situation, it often turns bad. It should be noted that he cannot train or master this ability. It is entirely involuntary.
    Position: His role would be something of an omega if not for his power. With it and the knowledge of herbs that he's gained through study, he's more of the village healer. However, because he's young enough, he also agrees to go on scouting missions and helps with building up shelters and the like.
    Appearance: He looks like this. Sorry, I saw the picture and that's him exactly, down to the pose.
    As a humanoid, he possesses the wolf tail with black tip, has hair trailing down his spine and has stubbier fingers than most others. His hair is the dusky red of his lupine form and is quite long. He tends to it through combing and washing, but doesn't style it anymore than he needs to form a loose, low hanging ponytail. He's 5' 10" when human, but appears smaller because he slumps in on himself around others. His eyes remain the honey brown in the pictures, but their haunted quality seems to grow.
    Personality: He's somewhat shy, withdrawn, and quiet in groups, and most certainly seems to be slightly "touched by the gods" in the mental sense. However, anyone in the group can assert that he's very kind, intelligent, altruistic, and trusting (to a fault?). He'll alternate between not going anywhere without the clan and setting up his shelter out of sight of everyone else. These are taken by the pack as a side effect of his gift and his harmless psychological problems, so they're generally accepted. He can be trusted on to help the clan even in the worst of his withdrawal periods.
    Talents: He's considered something of a counselor to those having difficult times. He doesn't necessarily solve people's problems, but he's someone safe to talk to.
    Relations/History: I'm open when it comes to relationships.

    He's always been seen as a bit "off" by the others in the clan. He was a recluse, preferring not to talk to others often, never seemed to catch on to social subtleties, and only looking into the eyes of another if the two of them were alone. Since he continued to help with small chores and didn't hurt others or himself, he was considered harmless enough, but was never expected to amount to much. He's never explained what he saw in his Epiphany, so he was assigned to help the pack's healer with gathering herbs and plants, though no one expected him to succeed the ancient wolf. One night, he forced everyone to continue marching through until they were on the other side, escaping the rockfall that would have killed all of them if they had stayed there as planned. He explained it was his gift: that of seeing what he needed before it came. This, and his prusuit of knowledge from the pack's previous healer, let to his current status.
    Other: He's found a small woodcarving of a leaf that he keeps with him now as a good luck charm.

    Age: Late Twenties
    Magic: Heighted Speed and Reflexes. His magic gives him an almost permanent boost to his reflexes that he is now used to. When not consciously using his magic, his eyes can pick up the tiniest movement and he can even predict the movement of objects or other creatures. The effect on his speed is a slight boost to his normal speed, but when he actively uses his magic, he can cover great distances instantly (he has been known to move 100 metres in only 2 seconds), giving his movement a lightning like appearance. However, his magic is a great strain on his body and the faster he moves, the faster he becomes worn-out. Therefore, he only reserves his top speed for absolute emergencies.
    Position: Seen as the Guardian of the Pack, many of the younger wolves look up to him and the protectors of the pack usually listen to his commands. Many see him as the next potential leader of the pack.
    Appearance: I guess like this. In Winter, his fur becomes thicker and whiter, whereas in Summer the white coat sheds and reveals a darker coat. He is considered one of the larger wolves in the pack.

    His humanoid form is quite furry and he keeps his tail, ears and large teeth. His hair is long, scruffy and dark grey. His fingers have sharp strong claws instead of nails, and his feet are basically larger wolf feet. He is quite muscular and stands at about 6 feet tall.
    Personality: He is a selfless defensive wolf, putting the pack before himself and not afraid to defend others. He dislikes hostilities, but he will get involved in any conflict, usually directly, if it affects him or the pack, or otherwise feels that there is wrongdoing involved. He is quite outspoken and unafraid to disobey his elders in order to appease his conscience. Despite rumours that he will become the leader when he is older, he has no visions of grandeur and in fact has no idea what path the Gods have set him on.
    Talents: The fastest in the pack by far, and this gives him an edge in fights. He may not be the strongest, but his quick attacks make him a deadly foe and his reflexes mean he is difficult to hit. He can also make quick decisions and plans, making him one of the better wolves to coordinate attacks, defences or emergencies.
    Relations/History: A quick developer as a pup, he matured quickly as a headstrong and independent wolf. By the time he came of age, he was already considered to be a decent asset by the pack and his magic served to make him stronger. He quickly rose through the Delta ranks and is considered to be one of the top Deltas. However, his outspoken opinions and quick actions often clash with the some of the elders and leaders, who are annoyed with his independence and his disobedience, but do not wish to exile him due to his perceived popularity and his unrivalled usefulness.
    Other: Nowt.

    Group: Hawnstine Flock
    Age: Older adolescent/younger adult
    Magic: Heightened sixth sense. In use of her magic, Cherokee can both see and hear a more spiritual side to the worldly plane if she concentrates hard enough on a single being. With this, she can see the aura and memories of the soul her focus is tuned to, as well as read their minds. As helpful as this ability may be, she can develop a severe headache if she concentrates on one person too long or too hard, often making her weak and sometimes blurring her vision. She's also struggling in learning how to tune out the voices of miscellaneous souls that she can hear while her mind is blank, often resulting in the same ailment.
    Position: Messenger between Hawnstine and Winterscene. Her personality and years of experience have also established her as a teacher to those in-training.
    Appearance: Animal form.
    In her humanoid form, Cherokee has a body that's slender and fit much like a human athlete, standing approximately 5'5", with a natural soft tone that makes her more feminine. Her fair skin tanned lightly by sun exposure is complemented by shoulder-length hair colored a dark, dusty brown and dark brown eyes wide with caution. Much of her falcon traits have been retained as a humanoid, in which she resembles a Harpy, her legs from the knees down covered in yellow scales with taloned feet allowing her to perch leading to her knees and lower thighs coated in soft brown and white feathers; similar feathers also cover her breasts and hips. Cherokee also has tail feathers, and lithe wings as arms enabling her flight.
    Personality: Cherokee, sometimes appearing cold as most birds of prey do, is a very kind soul in actuality. Mainly due to her position in the flock, she has never seen a reason to lie, resulting in her being honest virtually at all times; this, however, does not mean that she will go into detail after detail of more trivial subjects. She will often offer herself as a source of sympathy and empathy to those who need it, especially younger birds and those close to her, her quiet nature making her a better listener than speaker. While she does seem to show signs of a deep-rooted grief, she does what she can to not let anybody worry about her. When she does speak up, it is usually only to deliver a message or offer a few snippets of advice every now and then, although she has been known to use her words as an effective defense for anybody or anything she believes in. She also seems to be a little more spiritual than most, but this is in part due to her upbringing.
    Talents: Cherokee's flight is exceptional for at the very least her gender, her agility going well with her often silent flights. Her vivid memory of sight and sound has also aided her in her delivery trips.
    Relations/History: Relations open. Cherokee was raised as her single mother's only child as a chick, her sympathetic and empathetic nature rooting in seeing her mother heartbroken and battered by strife. She even encountered her own reason for heartache when she was young, her mother's death by an unknown member of the Belvelion Faction on one of her message flights, placing her in the care of her grandfather, a Hawnstine elder. Ever since, she's been timid and cautious while following in her mother's footsteps, usually proving helpful to her coworkers and her grandfather.

    I didn't put gender because in sign-up forms, everyone uses 'he' or 'she' to describe their character so I figured we might as well not point out the obvious.

    Shizo: Your power is way to much... to be frank. You need to tone it down to a specific ability- like telepathy (which would entail being able to tell if people are lying, probe their thoughts...etc...) or telekinesis... or perhaps the ability to transparent ones body to move through walls and stuff.

    It just wouldn't be fair to others who only have one unique ability ifI were to allow yours. ^_^;; Sorry. No creature is supposed to have any power that is considered above the rest- each is useful and unique.

    Magic: Amargra has the ability to conjure fire. In actuality, her fire powers were the first seen in the Wisterscene Pack- they had never encountered fire except during an occasional lightning strike upon a tree. Amargra's main fire ability allows her to conjure fire to consume around her body- earning her the nick name, "Fire Wolf". No doubt her magic has also helped her earn her rank within the pack.

    Position: Amargra's first position is that of a Food Bringer. Her older brother was the leader of the Food Bringers at one time and thus raised Amargra in that tradition. Amargra was recruited to become a Protector due to her innate strength and magic, but she refused in order to futher aid her brother. Now, Amargra is the leader of the Food Bringers and is capable of hunting by herself for the Wisterscene Pack. If the need was to arise, she would come to help the protectors if they needed more numbers. It is rumored that Amargra is a candidate for the next Alpha female.

    Appearance: See here. Her tail is really bushy, so see here for that! Amargra has a strong build that is meant for strength and seems to be an oddity amongst most females due to her strength. Around her neck she wears a loose strand of leather that is tied together to make a necklace. Upon the necklace are several golden hawk feathers that were given to her as a gift by a member of the Hawnstine Flock. There also are a few little small oddly colored rocks that are attached as well. Painted on her face are a few striped red dots, and mirroring this are tribal-like red markings that are upon her forelegs and hindlegs. (I'll draw this later. ^_^)

    Her humanoid form has skin that is just as dark as her fur. Patches of fur decorate along her ankles, wrists and collarbone. She has long flowing raven black hair that cascades down her back and two protruding ears that poke out. She also has her thick bushy tail and the same wolfish eyes. Her entire appearanche is rather dark, so her fiery golden eyes stand out, especially at night. Around her neck is still the large necklace and her tribal markings still remain as well.
    Personality: Amargra is extremely protective and loyal to the 'cause of the pack.' As a pup of the 'next generation' litter, she was the one who would push around the stronger pups who shoved their weight around at the weaker ones. When her brother passed away during a deadly hunt, Amargra matured even further to take his position. However, she still has a bit of a fiery attitude and has a tendancy to let her passionate views be loudly known. However, when not seen around others she has a rather deep, reflective personality. She has a problem shaking off the feeling that their powers are foretelling and given for a reason, not by will. She has a deep, innate sadness that she hides.

    Talents: Amargra shows talent with examining an opponent after a few moments of encountering them (in a confrontational way, not socially) she can read their body movement and seek out their weakness. This helps her greatly in hunts and has helped her excell at her position. It also helps her a little bith with arguements in the pack.

    Relations/History: Amargra was born of a relatively large litter and did not stand out until the faster, stronger pups began pushing around the younger ones. That was when Amargra's fiery personality surfaced and she often gave a gnashing at a few unfortunate bullies. She was then picked up by her older brother who felt that she had a knack for hunting prey. She excelled, but when she recieved her magic of fire she was offered a position to become a protector but declined. There was also a time where a Hawnstine Flock member had unwisely encountered a hostile Belvelion Snake. Amargra leapt in and saved the Hawnstine Flock member without killing the snake. As thanks, the Hawk gave her feathers to decorate her necklace. Amargra since then has often soloed on hunts, but when food is not needed she has time for socializing and getting to know the pack and knows quite a few. (If any of the wolves want relations, let me know! Or if anyone who is of the Hawnstine Flock wants to... :3 )

    Species: Timber Wolf
    Group: Sunterlan Alliance (just have to be different )
    Age: mid twenties
    Magic: Stealth. Rezzo's magic centers around remaining undetected. General applications include a form of camouflage that allows him to blend into shadows or his surroundings. He can also move without making sound or leaving tracks. He doesn't even have a scent unless he is careless or wants to leave one. He can even share these abilities with others while touching and not moving. At his magic's pinnacle Rezzo can become invisible and be completely undetectable by any means (including telepathy).
    Position: Rezzo is a scout and on occasion a hunter when the game grows lean (he can get closer to prey without being detected than other hunters but is less physically imposing which restricts him from being a full time hunter)
    Appearance: Rezzo's has sharp piercing violet eyes with an intense stare. He has a kind of sloped grin that cries mischief. His fur is a deep and dark gray that fades to an almost snowy light gray on his belly and at his paws. He is very small for a timber wolf. He's barely the size of the younger teens even though he himself is the equivalent of in his mid-twenties. There's a nick in his left ear and a small scar above his left eye.
    As a humaoid he has long mussled hair to match the dark gray of his fur. His fangs and claws present themselves but not as prominently as in his natural form. His tail is a bit bushier as a humanoid than as a wolf. His eyes are exactly the same in either form. As a humanoid, he is a bit on the scrawny side but his size difference isn't as noticable as in his natural form.
    Personality: Rezzo is as mischievous as he looks and plays tricks with the best of the foxes. He's sly and likes to think he's clever even though he's only clever half the time. He also has a massive chip on his shoulder that he tries to ignore and suppress. Secretly it's eating him up inside and he's actually very lonely as he has few real friends.
    Talents: Tracking, stalking, and stealth. He is a big fan of surprising others.
    Relations/History: When he was a pup he prided himself on being able to sneak up on all the other pups. He was so stealthy and liked stalking others so much that all the other wolves, even his parents, starting teasing him that he was really a cougar in disguise. It didn't bother him really except that he really didn't have any friends. What did bother him was as all the other pups were growing up, he barely grew at all. It wasn't evident as a pup but when everyone started growing it was obvious that Rezzo was a runt. This got quickly added to the littany of name calling. Rezzo took to going on private hunts to get away from the taunting when he was in his mid-teens. On one such hunt he met a young member of the Sunterlan Alliance about his age. The two were awkward at first but slowly became friends. The two took to hunting together and for a while everything was great for a change. The name calling stopped bothering him and all was well. Then one of his brothers followed him one day and caught him playing with the wild cat. Seeing Rezzo playing like a happy cat made Rezzo's brother think of him with disgrace. When Rezzo got home his brother called him out, telling everyone that he was off scheming with the Sunterlans, and challenged his much smaller brother to a duel. In a straight up fight Rezzo was no match for his brother, a wolf twice his size. The left top of his head was savaged and his ribs and right front paw badly injured. His parents tried to care for him and console him but it was a final insult and Rezzo limped off away. He collapsed near where he normally met his feline friend and his friend found him and helped him back to their home. The Sunterlan were not happy about a wolf being brought into their homes but seeing the beaten and sad eyes of Rezzo they couldn't turn him away either. Over time, while he was healing from his injuries the Sunterlan grew to like and accept Rezzo as his friend had and eventually welcomed him to join them. Ever since he has been the only wolf in a community of wild cats.
    Other: Let me know if someone wants to play Rezzo's friend. It'd be nice to have someone to interact with and I'm willing to tweak details to accomodate.

    Magic: If, and only if Mitmi manages to concentrate long enough, she can heal any wound. This magical ability gives her the passive ability of ‘super’ regeneration. Her body can heal from most wounds that would claim another’s life. Because of this ability (and a past event), Mitmi has sworn never to harm another creature, or leave it to die alone (save Reneds), Making her more or less a slightly pickier Carnivore, or a omnivore...
    Position: Healer / Combat Medic (Though she wanders enough to be a scout…)
    Appearance: Pine Marten. However, Mitmi’s face is a much lighter brown with a slight reddish hint, while her underbelly is a toned-down orange. Her nose, chin, ankles and paws are black while the rest of her body is an auburn colour, save for the tip of her tail which is black. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black colour.
    Personality: Mitmi, for one; has an extremely hard time paying attention. Her eyes are always wandering as well as her mind. She’s keen for adventure and doesn’t let anyone stand in her way once she sets her mind to something, most of the time she’s climbing the trees and childishly spying on the other groups. But its all for good fun and everyone knows that. They only ignore Mitmi because she has a TERRIBLE memory. She has a knack for remembering where she hid things, but when remembering messages and conversations she’s eavesdropped on she can’t remember a thing about it. Her spirits are almost always high and she enjoys a good laugh.
    Talents: Hiding things, finding things, getting lost, running away….
    Relations/History: Mitmi wasn’t always happy, when she was a bit younger, she got in a harsh argument with her brother and ran away from him. Leaving him lost in the woods. It was then winter set in, and Mitmi realized she had condemned her brother to death. After that season, she went out to find whatever remained of her brother. She found that her brother had not frozen to death, but had been killed by one of the larger predators. It was then she swore never to harm or leave another creature to die.
    Um.. I’m open to relationships…
    Other: Mitmi does not have a humanoid form, probably due to the vast amount of magic her healing ability takes.

    Species: Gray Fox

    Group: Wisterscene Pack

    Age: Young adult female

    Magic: Loreli has the power to control water. She can animate water using telepathy, using it as a weapon, or contol the water in a lake or river, altering the flow or restraining anyone caught in it (or causing him to drown if she so pleases). She cannot create water from nothing; she must use her powers with existing bodies of water.

    Position: Scout and spy. Loreli uses survival skills to keep tabs on the other groups and make sure her pack is one step ahead. She's also a competant warrior if she stays near (or in) a river or lake.

    Appearance: Loreli is a vixen, a rare type of fox with a silver coat. She has a long, full tail and a black patch around her eye.

    In human form, her hair is platinum blonde, and her ears taper to delicate points, with richly tanned skin. She wears jewely made of claws and teeth, whom most assume she took from defeated foes. She is quiet about who they belonged to.

    Personality: Whoever coined the term "sly as a fox" may have once met Loreli. She's a trickster and a prankster among the Wisterscene, known for being a sneak. Whenever something goes missing or the best choice of the meals are taken before anyone gets to them, she is always suspected, although she is never caught. Still, when the animal groups are in conflict, she is valued for her ability not to get caught, because she is an excellent spy. She can make sure the elders and leaders of Winterscene know what the other groups are up to beforehand.

    Loreli is a little more serious about the nature of her powers. She understands that water is something essential to life, and that living beings die without it. She doesn't know why she was given this power, but if lack of water is ever a problem, she is ready to become serious in all areas.

    Talents: Loreli is skilled at survival. She is a better tracker than even most foxes (her mastery over water lets her track prey over it, as most foxes can't) and she can hide in the forests and move with no more noise than a mouse. In human form, she can build traps out of makeshift material to slow down, trap, or even kill pursuers if she must. Due to her powers, she swims like a fish, and only a fool pursues her into a lake or large river.

    Relations/History: Because her elemental powers are the polar opposite of those of Amargra, the two have been rivals for a long time. This has never turned into an actual fight, but it may yet come to pass. Due to this rivalry, Loreli knows that water is fire's weakness, and should fire rage out of control - gods forbid - she is planed for it.

    Right, here's my sign up:

    Name: Shak

    Species: Male white-tailed Antelope Squirrel

    Group: Jumilian Commune

    Age: Young adult; something early twenty-ish

    Magic: Shares a bond with Mother Nature. He could detect almost any kind of disturbance or change in the land – emanated from other form of life, as well as the change in the season and climate. However, the ability is rather restricted, as he has to be in a relaxed and focused state of mind to achieve it. Aside from that, he could also manipulate a friction of the nature – but this was strictly limited to shrubs and herbs, and in an area that are no more than a thousand square metres around him.

    Position: Due to his ability, he is rather well known among the native of Evenesta – something that he is still unaccustomed with. He travels a lot, occasionally meeting members of other groups that seek his knowledge of nature.

    Appearance: Da squirrel

    In his humanoid form, Shak stands at about 5’6”, with a rather sturdy posture. His skin has now turned into a darker hue of red clay, and there were still furs on his body, which were now not as thick as they were in his original form. He still maintain his tail – which has now gain length to accompany his growth – and there is a thick turf of fur that starts from the tip of his tail, going upwards where it ended on his head. The face of his squirrel form clung over his humanoid face, just above the bridge of his nose – this gave a general expression that he was draped in an oversized squirrel skin. Throughout the change, he still keeps his squirrel eyes and set of teeth.

    Personality: His bond with Mother Nature had rather affected him – he is calm, long suffering and yet, at the same time, unpredictable. His general mood appears to be in sync with nature, but most of the time, he is quite agreeable.

    Talents: He travels swiftly in both forms, be it his animal or humanoid form – and this includes his climbing skill as well. Like the rest of his group member, his sense of instinct is exceptionally high.

    Relations/History: Relationship is open.
    Shak has quite a large family tree, but he couldn’t really identify his family members now since they were spread across Evenesta – or, to be more precise, he is more accustomed with nature rather than with his siblings.

    Magic: Protect. He brings up a barrier around himself or another to protect against one attack. If he focuses all his magic, the shield can reflect the damage back. This though drains his own health.

    Position: As one of the older of the pack, Laan is an elder. In time of need, he leads the pack for protection and fights. But mostly he roams the land searching for secrets and new magic for the pack. Leads most expeditions alone, but shares needed information with others through the Sunterlan Alliance.

    Appearance: Laan wears a greyish gold fur with light spots from his neck to his tail. He loves his fur as it glows under any light. His humanoid form he remains goldish, with light grey and black hair covering his head, hands, ears, and tail. His sideburns come down to the end of his face, which are colored purely grey. He has a black beard and tail.
    Personality: Laan loves everything about his pack. Used to working alone, but always willing to show the younglings a step towards the future. Though he is one of the leaders, he loves to have fun and play with the kittens. He pushes everyone to exert their best, and won't take no for an answer. Comes off strong sometimes, but will protect everyone in a heartbeat. He longs for the pack's growth to be greater than his own.

    Talents: Well-trained at reading enemies moves and being one step ahead.
    Relations/History: He leaves relations open to most. Growing up, Laan and a few select others were selected for their intelligence to be the new leaders of the pack. They led most of the reconnaissance for the area, and finding information on other alliances, namely Belvelion Alliance. At the age of twelve, they were led into a trap by the Belvelion, but only Laan managed to get away. He led a lonely life with no peers his age to rely on. Since his loss, he focused his powers and intelligence to creating his protection magic to help protect others around him. He does not want to see his younglings wiped out the same way he witnessed his friends meet their fate.

    Her humanoid form is of an ageless-looking woman, only the faint hints of wrinkles on her face and the silvery-white streaks in her black hair giving it away. Her eyes remain large and bright golden-yellow, though otherwise are human. Though slender and of average height, her presence is greater than her physical stature.
    Personality: The first impression that she gives is of irritation at the presence of others. She values her privacy above all else and avoids others when at all possible. While matronly, her help is rarely, if ever, free, and not given to just anyone. She believes that true strength lies in helping one's self, and that only the strong have the right to survive.
    Talents: She's a wonderful cook. Yay.
    Relations/History: No one really knows quite how old she is. She never had any children, and the rest of her family have passed on.

    Magic: Reading: Allows Cadoris to view others emotions and, if he really concentrates, thoughts. Depending on the degree of emotion felt, the feeling can be anything from a breeze of happiness to an inferno of rage. Cadoris has controlled his talent to the point where he can also project his emotions on to others, either scaring or soothing them as he sees fit. He can also block out all but the strongest emotions.
    Position: Active: ambassador. Passive: spy. Cadoris’ technical job is an ambassador to the other groups on Evenesta. He travels around, protecting the interest of the Belvelion and learning how other groups might benefit from an alliance. He also gathers intelligence on various cultures throughout he world and sends his finding back to the elder. Secretly, however, he is an assessing spy. His true job is to read the emotions of various political groups and discover just what the state of various factions is. Should a threat present itself, he is to gather as mush information as possible using his power and position.
    Appearance: As a snake, Cadoris is a rather large breed, measuring over 6’ long. His scales are a deep tan with a reddish brown stripe going down his back. His human form is of similar height and dark tan skin. His human body looks like someone held up a snake and cut out arms and legs from the body. When his limbs are pressed to his side, Cadoris still looks rather like a snake. His limbs are long, with lean corded muscles. His head resembles a raptor, but without the teeth. His slit eyes are dulled down to the point where they look almost round.
    Personality: Despite his rather sinister line of work, Cadoris is a likable fellow. A fair politician, Cadoris has several high-ranking acquaintances in each faction. Wihle very few people seem to trust him implicitly, he genuinely cares about relations with others and learning about their culture. Due to his magic, he is rather understanding of other plight and can make a good therapist if your desperate enough
    Talents: Cadoris is a fair debater and can get others to believe and support him, even without his magic
    Relations/History: Before he was an ambassador, Cadoris worked with security. He had just come into his magic when he was asked to hunt down a killer and bring her to justice. He found the female rather easily and had prepared to fight. At the time, his magic was less controlled and during the struggle, Cadoris began to read the females emotions. Bitter loss, hopelessness, despair, hatred, and love. Every emotion she felt flooded into him and for a brief moment he understood everything about her. The shock left them both unconsciouses. When he came to, Cadoris found her still out cold. He left her, leaving a note that said to disappear forever. He would tell the others she had burned to death, a victim of her own grief.

    The event left a bitter taste in Cadoris’ mouth and for a long time he worked on controlling his power. He learned and grew, reading emotions like books, forever trying to understand what drives people. With understanding, he sees that all evil is not created equal
    Other: Cadoris is left handed while he is a human. He also dislikes his human eyes.

    This is gonna be fun!
