Looks like I'm in a race with Asi to make the first post. Here goes.............
Name- Garen
Age- 20 by changeling years(29 in human years)
Gender- male
Race- changeling
Appearance- similar to frieza's final form. He is 6'2" tall, his skin is a pale ice blue in tone, the armored plates in his skin on his chest and head and forearms is violet in color, his eyes are a sharp ice blue(only a few shades darker than his skin), his tail is somewhat slender for his race and has a flattened diamond shape at the tip. He has roughly the physical build of Yamcha.
Personality- strong sense of honor and duty. Garen takes everything very seriously although he tries to maintain a calm exterior. He has a sense of humor but it has been supressed by the hardships he's endured the past several years. He has trouble trusting anyone not from his homeworld. Only through witnessing the good actions of others does he allow himself to build trust in anyone. Although he is a very clever and patient fighter when his goals come clearly into sight he can become mildly wreckless. He does his best to remain patient with all people but on occasion he can become extremely moody when he sees nothing is being accomplished.
Bio- Garen is from a small planet on the edge of the galaxy that is home to the race of changelings(Frieza's species). Most things on his homeworld were peaceful as he grew up. They have a very strict system of law that all citizens adhere to faithfully. Every few centuries though a changeling will speak out against their strict laws. When he was 7 such a changeling emerged. A criminal named Colza spoke out against their laws and challenged the system to stop him. The peace force was sent after him but Colza proved more powerful then they could have anticipated. Colza set out across their entire planet wreaking havoc on their cities, daring someone to rise up and stop him. Eventually a task force of the planets strongest warriors(including Garen's own father) were assembled to stop him. They confronted him in the Senate building of their main capitol as Colza was attempting to rewrite their laws. The task force attacked Colza there and a great battle ensued. No one knows what really happened there but Colza displayed a level of power previously unheard of in their race. A new level of transformation most thought impossible. The result was an immense explosion that destroyed half the capitol and killed most of the task force. Colza fled their planet after that. Garen's father was one of the few warriors to survive the battle but barely. He died several days later in a hospital. Since then, every five years the greatest warriors of their planet have been sent out into space to track Colza. It was their law that when a criminal of their society fled the planet they must send a group of ten hunters after them every five years until the criminal was caught or eliminated. Garen's uncle was in the first group and none of them were ever heard from again. Garen spent the next several years of his life training vigorously so that one day he would be chosen to be sent out to hunt Colza so that he may avenge his fathers death. When he was 19 Garen was among the ten chosen that year to be sent out to bring Colza to justice. He has been searching the galaxy since then tracking down any sign of chaos related to a member of his race. It is a rumor of such chaos related to his race that bring him to earth.
Attacks- Kienzan(Frieza's disk attack), Chunzieg(an advanced energy manipulation technique created by his grandfather. initially it is used to create energy duplicates of the user as well as energy tendrils used to restrain your opponent but it can also be used to mimic any energy technique the user witnesses almost flawlessly though slightly less powerful than the original attack)

Slowly his eyes shifted open, letting in a few distant rays of light. His vision, foggy at first, slowly cleared to reveal a vast darkness stretched in front of him. The darkness was only broken by a small sprinkling of blue and white dots spreadding across his field of vision.
It was the same scene he had woken up to on most days for the past several years. Most people would find the constant darkness disconcerting but he had long ago gotten accustomed to it. He had to, afterall. He had little choice in the matter.
Garen went to stretch out his muscles but bumped clumsily into the small confines of his bubble-like ship. This part of waking up he had never gotten accustomed to. It was amazing he didn't tear the thing apart in his sleep. Every night he went to sleep Garen thanked the makers his species could breath in space for that very fear.
"Status," he mumbled quietly as he cleared his throat.
"All systems functioning within normal parameters. Fuel reserves at 47 percent. Oxygen level....."
"That'll be all," Garen cut the computer off shortly.
He had heard all he needed to hear. 47 percent fuel meant he was fine for at least a couple of days. It shouldn't take him that long to get where he was going.
With that worry put to rest Garen finally began to come to his full senses. Something had waken him earlier than scheduled. He was due for another 17 hours of deep-sleep before the alarm was to resuscitate him. Something must have bothered him to cause him to wake so early.
Garen closed his eyes and began to focus. His mind stretched out into the space around him. With all of his senses calmed Garen could sense energy signatures at an incredible distance. It took a great level of concentration but that came easy to him after so many years of practice at it.
At first he couldn't place what the disturbance was. He was unable to find what the cause of his premature wakening was. Then, as his senses reached the near edge of his range, it struck him like a hammer. So hard in fact that it actually hurt his senses. It was a power signature of immense proportion. Garen tried to focus in on out so he could tell what it was but as soon as he did so it seemed to disappear entirely, like it had sensed his prying and shielded itself from him.
He didn't have enough time to figure out what type of being or machine was putting out the signature but something about it had felt slightly familiar. Quickly he flicked on the navigational screen in his tiny ship and started scrolling through star charts. He flipped through nearly a dozen till he found the one he was looking for. The chart for the system he had detected the signature from.
"Too odd for coincidence. Those merchants were telling the truth about Sol system. There is something powerful making trouble near Earth," Garen said excitedly to himself.
He made a few swift adjustments to the controls of his craft and it sped up towards its assigned destination, the planet Earth. This could be the last leg of his long journey. Could it be he had finally found what he had been searching for? Could justice.......no.........revenge be so close at hand?
Garen looked out at the stars as they sped by and a cold look of determination spread across his face as he began to speak to no one in particular, "I'm coming for you Colza. You cannot hide out here forever. Your time has come!"
