Talon walked back from talking to the Kyra-Muknäs and came towards us. "The Kyra inform me that they will be ready to leave tomorrow at dawn."

"But why should we leave so soon, what about your city?" I asked.

"There is something you all should know," Talon replied. "This city was built upon the hardships that our ancestors had to endure, this, this may seem devastating to you, in fact it is devastating, but we can endure just as our ancestors did so many years ago."

"We will work through this." He turned towards us. "But you must all get some rest, I will spare what Healers I can so retire to the Temple and rest."

"But, shouldn't we at least help out the recovery?" Chamel asked.

"You all have helped enough, now it is our turn to return the favor, now, my private guard shall escort you to the Temple and if you require anything, ask them."

Three Saurian guards walked up to us, one of them took Sora and carried her back as the others escorted us to the castle. It felt almost wrong, not staying to help the Saurian's pick up the pieces of their home...

The next day.... (3rd Person)

The Pendant Bearers, after what seemed like a long night, woke up at dawn. They had all been revitalized by some of Talon's best Healers, and were ready to help with what they could.

The Giant dinning hall was now being used as a triage and the wounded and homeless where occupining more of the Castle with every passing moment.

Those who were able and not wounded seriously, were out moving rubble and debris and working on clean-up detail.

The Pendant Bearers were ushered out after breakfast and brought outside. There, the Kyra-Muknäs were standing, their heads glancing around.

"Ah, there you are." Talon said as he spotted them. "I hope you have all the provisions you need."

The group had been given enough food and water to last them a while.

"I think we've got more than enough," Kage commented as he looked at the packages strapped to the Kyra-Muknä's legs and saddles.

"The Kyra-Muknä will take you over the Pyre Range and to the area beyond that." Talon replied. "There they will drop you off with the supplies and return to their home and wait to be summoned again."

Everyone started to saddle up, Saké and Setsuna on one, Kage and Seyelin, Elena and Vared, Sora and Zera, Horus and Amal, and finally, Chamel had to ride with Faile. It's easy to say that, that single combination wasn't a very favorable one.

Saddled up, with food and water to last them, the Kyra-Muknä prepared to start off.

"Thank you for everything, your highness." Saké told the Saurian leader from the back of a Kyra-Muknä. "We appreciate everthing."

"It's nothing, honestly." Talon replied. "You must go now, you have a long journey ahead of you all."

"Take care, and thanks for everything!" Saké shouted as his Kyra-Muknä, with a single flap of its wings, took off. Followed by the rest of the Wind Walkers into the sky.

Talon watched as the Wind Walkers disappeared into the sky.

"Take care Guardians of the Dragon Gods, and may Nijiryuujin watch over you all."
