"Now where did she say she kept that spare key?" I muttered to myself. Typical, been out of prison about an hour and I can't find a damn key. Ahh! There it is! I took it out an opened the door. "Hope she don't try and take my head off with something..."
I headed through the house quietly then spotted Laura in the kitchen. I crept up behind her. "Boo!"
WHAP!
"Arghhhh..." I groaned, holding my head, she just smacked me with a bl***y fryingpan.
"Serves you right for sneaking up on me. How'd you get in anyway?"
I flashed the house key, "you told me where you keep the spare, remember?"
She took the key from me. "I thought we agreed you were gonna come round when you wanted my help with a job."
"I do."
"Typical. You just got outta prison and already you're setting yourself up to go back in."
"Hey, you don't have to help if you don't wanna. I'm offering you a partnership here, take it if you want."
Laura frowned at me. "Fine. Now what have you got planned?"
I explained what a wanted to get, who we'd need to get it and what we'd do . How we'd get it was another matter, but we'd get that sorted later. The most important thing was getting everyone together.
"So how you gonna get everyone to come?"
"Call 'em of course." I replied, picking up her phone. "It won't take long."
I called up a whole group of people, including my supplier, strange girl that one. I told 'em all to come to Laura's house for a meeting to get organised.
I hung up after the final call and took a beer from Laura's fridge.
"That's one of mine," she said, coming in.
I shrugged, "what ya gonna do about it then?" I asked her challengingly.

Okay, your characters get a call from my character asking to go to this house to pull off a job. You don't know any details and that's part of the reason you go, to find out. Are you up for the challenge?
