M.E.G.A.S. XLR



Lately, there have been many reports of huge robots in car shows and other places around the city. They've become very popular among the youth as well as other age groups. International Mobile-Suit Associative Group Enterprises , or I.M.A.G.E, has been set up in the United States. And to kick off their grand opening, they've set up the I.M.A.G.E Tournament. The prize is $50,000 in cash. But the Tournament isn't the only thing the kid's have to worry about. Tara, a girl from the future, has traveled back in time to reclaim the the robots that she and her clan had stolen from the Glorfts in 346 A.E-After Earth. Seeing as the 20th century Robatonats aren't willing to give up their prized robots, she commences into battle with them. Having her robots quickly defeated, and destroyed, she becomes stuck in our time. Seeing as the alterations the Robatonats are considered "unpilotable", she allows the selected few to keep the robots with the CPU's from the future that belonged to the original M.E.G.A.S. She then tells them the story of the M.E.G.A.S., and why they were sent back:

The M.E.G.A.S were sent back into the past to stop a clan of evil aliens, the Glorfts, from attacking and taking over Earth in the near future. The Gorfts, an evil slug/octopus-like race, are threatening the warriors of Earth. Since they want their "weapons of Mass Destruction" they allow you to know that the M.E.G.A.S.' are theirs and that they shall take them back at any cost. All robots are slain and brutally destroyed, except those few...

Description: Tank is tall and bulky. He has wild navy-blue hair with brown eyes and tanned skin. He usually wears a navy-blue sweater that have the sleeves torn off over a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He always wears black-and-white tennis shoes and is seen sometimes wearing a navy bandana.

Personality: Tank is a wild, boisterous, loud type of guy. He doesn't care what people think of him, is friendly, but doesn't let anything get in his way...well, except for food.

History: Tank was raised in San Francisco, where the tournament is beginning. He is ready to go all the way in his custom-made robot mobile suit.

MEGA'S Name: T.I.T.A.N -- Totally Immense Titanic Avatar Noggin (couldn't think of anyting else.)

Description: Titan is maroon/crimson-painted with black feet and fists. It has a paintjob that looks as if it's going so fast the paint is peeling leaving only the silver primer behind. It's a squarish robot compared to most others and has a cockpit consisting of a maroon 2004 Dodge Viper Convertible. His main controls are the steering wheel, a clear-blue playstation 2 controller, and the stick shift. The speakers in the cockpit also have a vice command option that do simple tasks. There are also a bunch of buttons where the radio is and thrusters on his legs and back. He has also recently installed an A.I. that he can speak to to operate all of the functions without moving a finger.

Armaments: TITAN's armaments are all fold-outs.
- 2x shoulder-mounted 8-pod rocket launchers
- His hands can shoot off magnetically
- 2x Gatling machine guns on his wrists
- 1 Particle Cannon in Chest
