Since Pokemon Box came out in Japan, last week. I'm sure people are using Suring Raichu or Surfing Pikachu with Light Ball. I hope this is okay. OR if you have any good sets

This would work great as a starter. IMO. because most starters will either switch and most starters are weak too all those attacks. (Skarmory, Magneton, Cloyster, Qwilfish, Forrestress (sp), Gengar might own this. Thunder is incase someone brings an oober, or Rain Dancing Kingdra (or anything with Swift Swim) or ThunderDancer. If you have any ideas, please post them. either for Pikachu or Ria. I like Ria better, but with Light Ball Pikachu I think is stronger.
