Since I only have one battle active at the moment, I feel up to another.

The setup:

Pokemon count: 3 to a side, 1 active at a time.
First to bring out: Me
First to declare attacks: The opponent
Banned moves: Rest, Attract, Substitute
Restricted moves: Healing moves are restricted to one use per Pokemon
Our setting: Castle Paradox (yes, I have my own castle), Front Foyer

Within the castle of the Master of Paradox, the front foyer is an infinite series of stairs along the walls, floor and ceiling, each leading to doors that open onto other stairs, which go to other doors leading to other stairs, and so on, a la the classic Escher drawing. The entire room is a soft white in color. There is a landing at the center, where the trainers stand.
There is a limit here: if you pass through three doors (either voluntarily or involuntarily, as if thrown through them), the doors become locked to you for three rounds. This is to prevent infinite falls down staircases.

*The Master of Paradox, clad as usual in his long brown robe and wearing a pair of tinted yellow glasses, steps from one of the side stairs onto the landing. He takes the first Pokeball from the pouch at his waist.*

It is time for this one to enter its first battle. I call out the Torkoal, Fuji!

*He throws the Pokeball skyward, and it opens, revealing Fuji to be a large tortoise with a volcanic-looking shell.*

Who shall challenge me, and who will referee the battle?
