Name:Rick Antros
Pokemon: Trios(Moltres) and Rock(Golem)

Victory Road wasn't really a road- it was more like a trail, passing through a cave, and at several points, up a mountain. It was the type of place one traverses quickly and tends to forgot afterwards, fading into the mist of bad dreams. Unpredictable weather, sudden rockslides, and dangerous Pokemon made walking on this 'Road' a nightmare. Yet, it was required if one was to reach the Pokemon League.

Rick Antros surveyed the road below from his perch halfway up the mountain. High above in the sky, he could just make out the fiery glow of Trios, his companion. Below, a large cloud of dust signalled Rock, barreling up the mountain towards him. Rick frowned.

For years, he had wandered Mt. Victory, learning its passageways, hairpin turns, and dangers. He had befriended many distrustful Pokemon who called the mountain home. He carried no Pokeballs and no phone- it was purely him against the elements. He had befriended Rock a few months after his arrival, and the Golem had stayed with him ever since. Trios, he had only met last year, but the Moltres, rather lonely after years of isolation, kept close. Though he would never admit to such a thing.

In all his time, nothing had ever caused Rock to roll up a mountain. It usually wasn't done by Golem, but then... Rock was different. The Golem rolled up on the cliff he stood on with a crash and unrolled himself.

"What's up, Rock?"

"There's someone coming from down below," Rock answered in a gruff tone.

"So? What does that matter?"

"I overheard them saying that they were looking for you."

"It's true," Trios said softly from behind him. Rick turned around to see the Moltres perched on a large boulder above them. He was always amazed to see how he could descend and land so quietly. "I can sense them. There are others... as strong as me."

"As strong as a Legendary?" Rick asked, confused. "Is that even possible? Maybe you're mistaken Trios."

"It...is possible,"Trios conceded in a grudging tone.

"Well...there's only way to find out.." Rick said, peering down the mountain again. He didn't see anyone, but from this distance, there was no way to tell.

Okay, set-up is out of the way. The arena is inside, outside and above of Mt. Victory. Rockslides are common here, so shaking attacks (Earthquake) may cause one. Also, Rain Dance/Hail/etc. may loosen the rocks on the side of the mountain, also creating a slide or flood. There are plenty of rocks scattered about for cover. Any takers?
