The Sohma Curse

Rat-Dark-San
Name: Junichi Sohma
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Personality:
Besides the basic character traits of the Rat being easily identified with Junichi, there are some other characteristics that differentiates him from the rest of the Sohma family. Firstly his EQ (Emotional Quotient) is way below from those of an average person, that perhaps explains why he is usually quiet and most of the time kept all his personal troubles and feelings locked up in his heart. He does not mingles well with his peers too and is the outcast of the class. Nobody knows him and noone in the class bothers about his existence.

Secondly, he is the type that just avoids trouble. For example if a bully is to approached him for any extortion, he would rather give up all his possession to him rather than putting up a fight. Don't take Junichi for a weaking though, he is a black belt karate expert but he just chose to take an ignorant route of avoiding problems since his life motto is

"I trust noone other than myself"

Thirdly, he had from an extended Sohma family but because of his 'secret' (Sohma's curse), he was made to move over to the main family house.
History:
Being in the extended family, he is based in Osaka but as his 'secret' would seem rather to be easily revealed if he still stays over at his hometown. Hence as a result, the main family had issued an order and making him to come over to Tokyo to reside with them. Since his recent moveover to Tokyo, nobody in the Sohma family had never taken notice of him. This despite the fact, that they already know that the 'Rat' would be joining them.
Appearance:
A mere ordinary human but his body is slightly built which would made any of his peers marvel and envy him. He stands at a height of 1.75 metres and weighs around 65 kilograms. His hair colour had always been gray since birth and that is the most obviously physical trait of him being a rat.

Rabbit-Emotional Faun Chiko-sai
Name: Sohma Saburo
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Personality:
Ordinarily, Saburo is a model of good manners. Very polite. Very apologetic even when he hasn't done anything wrong. Very willing to do things for people. Very good listener. When someone challenges him, he tends to either back down or talk about something completely different till the person forgets what they were angry about (he is Very Articulate too, forgot to add that in earlier) - well, unless you're not turned off by his purposefully misleading conversation, or he's in court. He argues well when forced into it; he won't start the arguments, but he'll respond if you rouse him. In court he is calm, collected and unforgiving, as a trial is just a really big verbal fight anyway.
Secretly, he worries a lot. It's why he's so careful to do everything just right. With regards to personal matters, he is insecure - he wants friends, but on the other hand he realizes having a friend is also an emotional risk; he couldn't take it if he wasn't at least as important to someone else as they were to him. Hobbies include paperwork, reading, and being of service to people.
History:
He is the Sohma family's defense lawyer. He is a 'half-caste' Sohma whose mother was from the main family but had incurred the wrath of her elders by eloping with a foreigner, and a poor one of disreputable origins, at that. Upon discovery of his son's curse his father rejected the child and had to be separated from him and mind-wiped. Even after the mind-wipe, his father still felt some unexplainable loathing for him, and refused to let him remain in his sight for any amount of time. The mother was mind-wiped as well, at her choice (and pressed upon by the elders of the family as she was labeled 'wild' and 'unable to fulfil family duty'), and they effectively abandoned Saburo, leaving him with the Sohmas, who essentially treated him as an outsider and freeloader.
He first made public his vocation when he found that he couldn't bear to be shunned by the main family any longer. He offered to defend the family against any attacks made from the loved ones of people who had been mind-wiped, using it as his leverage of sorts to be properly accepted into the family. Other than those, which are his main priority, he also takes other clients when not occupied with the legal doings of the Sohmas.
Appearance:
Saburo is about 5'10", rather ordinary build ranging on the slightly thin, with strong, well-defined nose and jaw; a distinctive profile, like a bust of a Roman senator. His cheeks are sunken, though, which emphasizes his cheekbones. Angular is the impression you'd get after a once-over. He's got a natural tan, a sort of dark golden bronze tint to his skin; his amber eyes glimmer with a suspiciously wild look contrary to his excessively polite, well-mannered nature. His ears are large and pointed, though they are rounded at the points, with several piercings. They twitch, like a rabbit's, when there's a loud noise, or when he's nervous. His hair is spiked straight up and outwards, like a short, untidy broom. It was originally dark, but he bleached it blonde. Possibly to tie in with his artistic leanings, or maybe he *gasp* thinks it's cool. Note that he doesn't look like a lawyer; although he's tried to amend this by wearing glasses in court (they miraculously appear when he argues outside of work), the question of whether he should try to correct other facets of his appearance seems never to have crossed his mind. ^^;
His clothes vary, his work clothes obviously being suits; but they are nearly always black or monochrome, or at the most, a very neutral, pale colour, like washed-out blue. There is a simple bracelet on his left wrist that seems to have been made from the sandalwood beads found in Buddhist rosaries.
Animal Appearance:
Amami rabbit... hehe. Wikipedia rocks. Amami rabbits are different from the ordinary ones; they're dark-furred, almost black, do not have a tail, and have so short ears that they're not immediately recognizable as a member of the rabbit species. Their claws are large and curved. Saburo is almost exactly like this, except that his sandalwood bracelet has turned up around his neck during the transformation, and the tips of his fur seem to be... bleached.


Sheep-Nabooru23
Name: Hisano Sohma
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality:
Hisano is usually fairly quiet and reserved, if only because she prefers to observe conversation rather than actually take part. She prefers to spend her time indoors, reading, writing, drawing, and playing video games. She's very intelligent, and would be getting good grades if she would actually do her homework more often. Although she's usually introverted, she tends to be very outspoken about her opinions, and can get rather argumentative at times. While she likes certain things to be organized (usually books and games), anything she doesn't think is important generally gets tossed into piles.
History:
She lives with her parents, in a small-but-not-tiny house a short drive from the main Sohma house. She attends high school, when she can't get out of it; she's in eleventh grade. She likes to go to the mansion to hang out, simply for the interesting company. Of course, the disastrous state her bedroom at home is in could be another reason. Currently, she's working on writing a fantasy novel she hopes to someday get published, although she hasn't gotten very far in working on it. Every Tuesday she plays Dungeons and Dragons with a group at her school.
Appearance:
Hisano has rather pale skin, which tends to get dry rather quickly. This has driven her to constantly carry a small tube of lotion in her purse, in case she notices excessive dryness on her hands or face. The purse itself is black, with the buckles and various studs and O-rings adorning it being silver-colored. It's small, but still large enough to carry several pens and pencils, a small notebook, a travel-sized hairbrush, her set of gaming dice (marbled silver with black numbers), her wallet, and her eyeliner, lipstick, nail polish, and mascara, all in black, and all of which she wears almost daily, always in gothicly copious amounts. Her hair is naturally ebony-colored, but recently she has dyed it bright blue. It's fairly curly, usually brushed into neat waves. A silver barbel adorns her right eyebrow. She is most often garbed in a random (usually black and in a men's medium, so the sleeves are longer) T-shirt and cargo pants (also usually black, and hung with chains that she acquired separately from the garment itself). Her boots are sturdy black leather, worn slightly from use but not majorly. A black velvet collar is tied around her neck, with a small silver bell hanging front the front.
Animal Appearance:
In her animal form, Hisano is a smallish young adult sheep with ink-black wool. Her eyebrow piercing has moved to her right ear, since sheep don't have eyebrows. Her irises are the same deep blue color, although they possess the same large pupils any normal sheep would. The belled collar around her neck remains in place, though the strap expands to fit her neck with the transformation.
Other:
She has social anxiety disorder. If anyone gets too close to her, she tends to tense up, mentally and physically. She's fine around people she knows well, but is a nervous wreck in tightly-packed crowds of people.

Dog-Weasel_Overlord
Name: Rufus Valerius Sohma
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Personality:
Though Rufus is quiet, and often seen as cynical, he is steadfastly loyal and faithful to those he thinks of as friends, and can always be counted on to be honest. Cheerful for the most part, Rufus is unfazed by insults, teasing or any nastiness which may be aimed towards him. He might be quiet, but that doesn’t mean that he’ll take insults, no siree. He’s full of witty comebacks, usually with a cynical twist to them, and many an insulter has run away crying after an encounter with the sharp wit of Rufus.
He has a twinkly way with words which he likes to employ in a bit of writing now and again; and under his quietness, he has a sneakily hidden perverted sense of humour which he tries very hard to keep in check, but fails in doing so most of the time.
Twinkly twinkle, Rufus is a charmer, or at least he likes to think he is. His roguishly messy hair, dashing cloak and marvellous hat work to his advantage, but his suave personality and impeccable manners resemble a man of older beginnings, and tend to put off the ladies, for some reason which is completely unknown to Rufus. It could be his inherent cynical nature, or the fact that when confronted by a woman, he can’t generally think of anything to say…
And anyway, he doesn’t tend to complain so much about the ladies wanting to stay away from him… Though he likes to keep up appearances, his long life of avoiding womanly contact outside his family has made him somewhat… resistant to the charms of women. In fact, it could be said that he’s more easily swayed by a pretty boy… (more will be said of this during the actual RPG! *evil grin*)
Living with Kaoru has given Rufus a slightly wicked edge, in that he enjoys going out of his way to torment the boy, rearranging his precious cushions, and generally teasing him. Although Kaoru is younger than Rufus, he’s taller than him, and he takes every opportunity to rub this fact in; but Rufus takes it all in his normal, cheerful stride, usually coming back with witty retorts of some sort. He also takes great amusement from leaving porn magazines laying around the flat, then hiding and laughing at Kaoru’s reaction to it…
History:
Living in the main Sohma household for the majority of his childhood, and much of his adult life, Rufus was very happy to finally leave the constricting manor and to live in his own place. Being one of the oldest of the Sohma-cursed hasn’t earned him many friends, but he lives in a lovely apartment away from the main family, with Matsuno Kaoru, the son of his close friend, who died in an unknown accident. He was both amused and shocked that Kaoru senior had thought him suitable to look after his son, but it was written in his will after all, and so Rufus took the boy in, taking great delight in tormenting him in each and every day of his life.
He has a small and generally pointless job at the local library, which brings in just enough money for Rufus to be able to eat with, and he occasionally employs his writing skills in the form of articles for the town’s main newspaper on subjects which he finds interesting, or just randomosities.
Appearance:
Rufus wears a rather smart brown hat on top of ruffled and messy red hair. He has a slight amount of stubble about his chin which tends to grow rather quickly, springing up overnight sometimes (like DAISIES! Ahehe... *cackle*) into a rough beardy-type structure. *strokes* mmm... beardy.. ahem. I mean...
He is a kinda mediumy height, standing at around 5’ 7”, and he is fond of wearing a long coat-type jackety thing topped off with a dashing cloak in a creamy white. His coat is black with red edging and it has large sleeves which Rufus’ hands often disappear into.
Rufus’ deep blue eyes peer out from underneath his hat topped by messy red eyebrows, and his skin is pale and freckled. He burns easily, and so he often needs to smear himself with liberal amounts of sun-lotion before venturing out into hot weather.
When he’s thinking or listening to someone, he has a tendency of cocking his head to one side like a dog! (Aw, how cute!)
Animal Appearance:
When Rufus transforms, the dog he becomes is a Copper Siberian Husky. Big, fluffy and absolutely adorable! The markings around his face are the same colour as his hair in his human form, and his ears are pointed and upright. Even in his dog form, his face still retains some of his filthy humour, leading to very expressive eyebrows! Face-of-sarcasm-looking aaand pointed face-fur-of-adorableness!!
Relationships:
Rufus is the legal guardian of Kaoru, who lives in his little flat with him. However, he is always on the lookout for some pretty piece of flesh (huzzahs for Shakespeare!) to share his love with… whether male or female, he hasn’t quite decided yet.
He also shares his ikkle flat with Amaya, his cousin and a Sohma.

Dragon-Asilynne
Name: Zenshi Sohma
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Personality:
Zenshi is very smart and curious, and loves to learn with a passion. She also loves to teach, and jumps in with a childlike enthusiasm when she sees an excuse to share her knowledge with others. However she can be a bit pushy, and may get irritated when someone does something in a way that makes no sense to her. Even so, she has a kind heart, and a weakness for small children, she finds it hard to say no to them, and hates seeing them unhappy.
History:
Ill finish this one later, but I will say that she teaches elementary school. Very open to anyone who wants to live with me
Appearance:
She has shoulder length brown hair that looks normal enough despite the slight spike it has to it, except for if seen in a certain light it has a slight metallic green sheen to it (hope thats ok, dont know if odd hair colors are in the anime ^-^()) Her eyes are large and have a wise look to them, they are a livid green. She also wears small round glasses for reading. Shes tall (5'8") and stands straight and regal, with an aura that is at once serene and commanding. When not wearing her dress for school she likes to wear comfortable fitting clothes and sweaters. I might get up a pic of her.

Lives with Yakusa and Mayumi in a nice little townhouse surrounded by trees. Neighbors are close but the atmosphere doesnt feel stifling.

Name: Mayumi Sohma
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality:
High-spirited and always up for anything, Mayumi is a lot of fun to spend time with. However, she holds most at arms-length, and has very few close friends. Definitely tends to think of herself first, except with the very few she feels personal loyalty to. Is always up for challenges- mostly because she's always up for showing off. Her outer personality loves the limelight, and always wants to be in it, though she has a shy, fragile side that she keeps well-hidden.
History:
Attends the same high school as the other high school students mentioned (wherever that is) and is in the top grade. Has put thought into modeling, singing, acting, athletics, and other professions that would let others bask in the glory that is her. As such, she's involved in many extracurricular activities. She makes good grades, as she couldn't bear to appear stupid to anyone, and is, in essence if not spirit, a model student.
Appearance:
Has long copper red hair that's usually left blowing in the wind. Has large dark brown eyes, and tan skin. Is long-limbed and leanly muscled. Recently outgrew her awkward phase, and so emphasizes her newfound grace of movement however she can. Like to wear either tight-fitting clothes in coppers and reds, or loose dresses in white. Prefers to leave her limbs bare.

Name: Kaze Sohma
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Personality:
When it comes to some things, Kaze can be extremely inventive, so that he’s almost never bored, but when it comes to other things… he’s a bit naïve. Basically he’s rather young and immature in certain matters (sex, violence, that kind of thing), and as intelligent as most adults in others (i.e. common sense). Aside from this, Kaze is every bit as curious and inventive as any animal. People seem to gravitate to him, not because he’s especially good looking (though, lets be honest, he’s not bad looking either), but just simply because his words are so blunt and so carefully chosen that it’s hard to tell whether he knows what he’s saying or not. He doesn’t enjoy this attention, though – he hates it when people look at him… it makes him nauseous, mostly. The more someone shows an interest in him, the more he’ll try to run away, the more someone will show an interest in him. Kaze is kind of addictive to the opposite sex, even if it’s in a cute-kid kind of way, and he absolutely hates it. He won’t say anything bad, but he’ll try to run away as fast as he can. Kaze is quite sarcastic, and, paired with his innocence, can lead to a lot of “interesting” situations. He can probably talk his way out of anything, whether buying something, a fight, or even a homework assignment, though that may not necessarily be a good thing. So he’s a sweet little kid, the avatar of the Monkey, except that he’s too clever for his own good.
History:
Kaze's older half-sister is Amaya. He treats her with what might be considered affection (odd, incest-y affection) her being one of the few girls whose company he actually enjoys. But they're seperated, so maybe that's why he enjoys her company so much - because he can't have it. Both of them were raised in one household with their mother and father. As far as Kaze remembers, he was pretty much left on his own during this period, so that later he found it kind of hard to interact with people. He remembers that his father was a cheery man though, with rosy-colored cheeks and a silly smile always on his face. His step-mother he remembers a bit better, though still this is hazy, she dying when he was nine. So the result is now he's turned out something like Estragon, just waiting for something to happen, and not paying attention to whatever meaningless things occur in the meantime (I raise you your The Catcher in the Rye with my Waiting for Godot). Kaze somehow managed to lose almost all memory of his father, though from what his sister has said about him he's not sure that that's a bad thing. Ever since his mother died, he's been going to school irregularly, taken in by a certain Ayato, who mostly ignores him.
Nothing really out of the ordinary, considering his situation, something that he’ll complain about time and time again.
Appearance:
Kaze is a beautiful boy, with large, dark eyes the color of night, and small, light features. His skin is pale, though still within the healthy side. He’s thin, but his figure is anything but wilted – he’s unhealthy enough to make people go to him, but healthy enough so that people don’t offer him food. He’s a tad short for his age, though most people don’t even seem to notice this at first glance. No, what people notice most is his hair, a shaggy train of wood-color that barely covers his eyes. He looks extremely… youngish. For the most part, Kaze just wears what might be considered a school uniform: a light blue suit and a deep black tie. Oddly, no one seems to notice the manic glint in his eyes that’ll appear from time to time.
Animal Appearance:
In animal form, Kaze looks a little like a Hamlyn, only... cuter, I guess. Like his eyes are wider, and he doesn't tend to look at you as if he were about to throttle you (bad memories...bad memories...). His fur is fluffy, a yellow-ish brown-ish color, and he has a bright pink face. Oh, and when he's angry (in animal and human form) he grins at you... (bad memories... don't ask).

Boar-Sango
Name: Sohma Amaya (family name, then given name)
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Personality:
Amaya is a rather odd "child" in the eyes of her seniors, and just plain weird to some of her younger relatives, mainly for her interests in western cultures such as the Armenians and Celts. This, however, does not alter much of her personality from the stereotypical Boar. She is often one to work hard on things, and when she makes a huge mistake, admits it, which has led herself to a self-esteem issue and bipolar syndrome normally found in Tigers. As a result, she feels stressed when people see her as the shoulder to lean on, unless they provide her the same, yet in general, she is a kind soul that accepts many differences. However, because of her stress, she is short-tempered, often releasing her rage through activities before she accidently transforms to her animal form under such conditions. In general, she has a lot of issues, and as a result, spends a lot of time in solitude, distancing herself from the world, which has made her shy in public. That, however, hasn't prevented her from her current occupation.
History:
Amaya's younger half-brother is Kaze. The two have fairly gotten along, although due to the age difference, they haven't had too contact lately. They were raised by the mother they have in common, and her "booze-hound" of a step-father. While Kaze was ignored much of the time, Amaya was the one who received much negative attention from her mother, consisting of emotional and physical abuse over almost nothing. As a result, she had become the mixture of Holden Caulfield living the home life of Jane Gallagher. (if you have read The Catcher in the Rye enough and don't get my point, you're a total idiot) Her stepfather (Kaze's father) was abusive towards everybody due to his alcoholism; however, this eventually led to his death. This resulted in Amaya being forced into attending prep school after prep school, much like the infamously angst-filled Caulfield, because her mother felt that she was a wild one, and that she was part of the reason her stepfather died.
After having graduated from one of the prep schools and somehow flunking out of college due to her stress, Amaya "co-owns" and works at a New Age store that imports many things relating to beliefs such as Wicca. She also lives with her cousin, Rufus, and the boy he's raised since the death of a family friend, Kaoru. Ah yes...apartment. It's not penthouse big, but it at least holds the three of them.
Appearance:
Amaya has a great hint towards her animalistic nature. With an average height and build, her eyes are a dark gray, almost black, and her hair is dark brown in color and comes down to about shoulder length. Her hair is thick and slightly coarse, as well. With somewhat pale skin, her lack of being outdoors is quite evident.
Amaya's clothing varies a lot depending on her mood. It mainly has a "gothic" nature to it, be it of American or Lolita origin, yet on some occasions, she has been known to dress in an American surfer's attire when feeling relaxed.
Animal Appearance:
In her animal form, she resembles a basic female wild boar, albeit smaller. Small enough to fit in a large pocket, actually. (realistic-ness!)
Other:
Ah...right. Amaya finds Rufus attractive, but not THAT attractive. She doesn't exactly find incest appealing. Most things kinky don't even appeal to her. o.o

Cow-Prof. Jb Wolf
Name: Joushirou Sohma
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Personality:
Often found with a serene, placid almost empty look on his face, those who don't know Joushiro would think him stupid or perhaps damaged in the head. While he is somewhat slow on the uptake at times, it is more that he prefers to think about things before acting. He takes life at ease - you only live once why rush through it? Possessed of a somewhat unearthly calm at times, he's normally a kind and affable fellow. When he finally does get angry or riled up, he nigh unstoppable, like a stampeding bull who won't stop until his energy's all used up.
History:
Having been born with almost no sense of direction, Joushiro consquently spends most of his time wandering and no permenent residence to speak of. He'll often just crash at whichever relative happens to find him or camps out in empty lots and parks. He still attends school (same as the others) and is only just passing among his peers do to his test scores and tutoring sessions with Mayumi.
Appearance:
Stands tall at an even six feet with a broad-shouldered, wiry build. His hair is unruly and somewhat spiky, falling just below his ear. Greyish-white in color his more affectionate friedns and family often call him "Shiro-chan". A tuft of black sticks out just above his forehead and his bangs curved inwards somewhat like horns, framing his emerald green eyes. Lightly tanned from prolonged exposure to the sun he usually wears a black shirt underneath a white dress shirt, khaki suspenders, boots, and a green overcoat. On a silver chain around his neck is a weathered old compass, a gift from a stranger when he was lost once. Often carries a large pack complete with bedroll and other camping equipment just in case.
Animal Appearance:
Transforms into a fairly non-descript black ox, though his pack strangely remains intact along with his necklace.
Other:
He gets along well with most of the Sohma Clan, his benign personality being unoffensive to most people in general. Perhaps due to the curse, he's also incredibly strong and is the star member of both the Wrestling and Martial Arts teams. Knew Mariko's father who gave him the compass he wears.

Rooster-Mystic_clown
Name: Yazaki Sohma
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Personality:
This guy’s all about fun. He likes to stay up late and party hard. Yazaki is always the one to do something incredibly risky and pretty stupid, especially after he’s had a few drinks. While this guy prefers to play, when he has no other choice but to work, he will work hard. He also displays a number of talents, such as break dancing, drink mixing, and so on. While he’s generally a nice guy, he’s a bit self loving and will usually brag about his many talents. He’s also extremely selfish. He’ll only do something when it benefits him. Even if it manages to benefit everyone around him, he only cares about what he gets out of it.
History:
Yazaki is a bartender working at the nightclub Neon Impact. Hes’ learned how to break dance and create graffiti art in his younger years, and has recently learned electric guitar. He performs as a hobby. Currently is living with Zenshi (if that’s ok with Asilynne)
Appearance:
Wild black hair with numerous red streaks which falls unevenly just past his chin. His wild green eyes are usually hidden behind a pair of yellow tinted glasses. He’s slightly pale with a lean, yet chiseled build and stands at about 5’9’’. He wears a black shirt with a red overcoat, black pants and black combat boots (although no one seems to notice. He also wears black gloves when he goes out and wears a decorative chain around his neck. He also has white orb earings of anyone notices. His attire tends to change on occasions.

Other:
He suffers from slight imsomnia. Not that he cant sleep, it's just that he's awake most of the time. Even though he's got them covered by the shades, he has bags under his eyes.

Snake-Inferno_Dragon
Name: Ayato Sohma
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Personality:
Ayato is very confident in himself sometimes even too overconfident. He occasionally talks about himself most of time … okay all of the time. When he comes across something passionate that he wants to accomplish, he tries as hard as he can to finish that goal or project … although it does take him quite awhile especially when it comes to finding his true heart with friends and family. Ayato is very devoted to his friends and family and he LOVES to be the center attention. When he is around woman, he is able to turn his “charm” to impress them … the downside is that the charm might be too strong and he doesn’t turn it off no matter how strong it is.
History:
He goes to the local college to continue his education. He owns a beauty shop named after himself. His reason of doing this is to get in touch with the ladies. Ayato lives alone but would like to live with either a family member or someone he could get along with.
Appearance:
Ayato is 5’11 with sparkling green eyes (although they do change often to different colors but no one knows why so they don’t bother.) His hair color is a mixture of white and green. (So his animal form is a greenish-white Cobra.) Usually he wears a outfit that matches the colors of his eyes whatever it may be but when he is truly romantic, he wears something bold like romantic red with a touch of pink or white. Having to live around those that are twice her age, she has learned how to act as a 11th Year High School Student, place in there due to Advanced Placement classes and to help her mentally stunted brother graduate. She is extremely protective of her brother, and can get mad very very easily. But at the same time she has problems expressing her feelings to the boys and girls she hangs around with due to the age difference.
History:
Trying to keep her half brother’s disability away from the rest of the family, so that they wont look down on her or her half brother, she lives in a small apartment with him, having to run the apartment and maintain her grades at the same time. Through extremely hard work she was able to move past several grades and into high school to keep a eye on her brother so that no one hurts him.
Appearance:
She is mainly known for her light red almost orange hair with black highlights, giving her the nickname of Fireball. She keeps her childish frame measuring only 4’ 7”, she wears boots to give her a few inches to make her look more like a teenager, as well as a heavily padded bra to blend in. She wears a long sleeve light blue shirt that goes down to just above her belly button, giving a mid drift, with long blue jeans trailing to her feet to hide the boots.

Obviously not a Adult sized Tiger, she changes into more of a Tiger Cub no larger than a regular stuffed doll. Adding to the overall cuteness and shoujoness. She is able to get into small places quickly and is able to sneak around with out really being seen.

Personality:
High Spirited and Cheerful would be the first thing that comes to mind when anyone is introduced to her. She has a spirit that could never seem to be damped, no matter how depressing the situation is. Always ambitious, she is constantly looking for "mysteries to solve" due to her passion with detective novels. Consequently, "mysterys to solve" usually translates to trouble as she sometimes makes a big deal out of trivial things. Nevertheless, her detective skills are not fictional like the novels she reads; being in the city for a year has already gave her a name in the school as the young detective genius one can rely on when it comes to problems, whether it be a lost cat or a series of crimes even the police can't seem to solve.
With such intellect one would expect her to ace all her classes, but this is not true, though she could easily do so if she wishes. Instead, she usually misses class most of the time, usually coming in only for a few test days out of the year to score perfects, then leave for the rest of the time solving these "mysteries" she doesn't seem to get enough of. Consequently, her grade is that of a C average, though when looking at her record its more of a series of "Miss" marks punctuated by "100%" test grades. Her intellect is partly due to her photographic memory, remembering everything as she has seen it the first time she glances around.
As if coming naturally from her energetic nature, she is highly expressive and would be one of those characters that is frequently subjected to the cliche anime expressions (sweatdrops, facefaults, blown-up heads when enraged). She is remarkably kind to animals (and to people too but she doesn't usually make that as obvious as her kindness to animals).
History:
Her mother had been missing at an early age in her life, and she remembers little of her. Her father was also constantly busy and couldn't always keep Mariko occupied, so Mariko indulged in detective novels. Eventually, her missing mother, the detective novels she read, and her father refusing to reveal any secrets about why her mother went missing gave her the ambition to begin her own detective case: discovering the whereabouts of her mother. Her first hint came when her father met a travelling boy; though she did not know what her father told the boy, she seemed to believe that the boy knew something about her mother. The second hint was when her father, after suffering a near fatal heart attack and realizing he was going to die, told her a few mumblings at the end... "Promise to your mother... you wouldn't know... Sohma menagerie...confined... but...free..." He died shortly thereafter (this was 2-3 years ago). Even with her memory she could not quite able to make out exactly what he said, but she took the words seriously and hence found the city she is in now as her best lead. Despite her best performances, her mystery of her own family still remains mostly unsolved...
Appearance:
She is a rather attractive figure. She has long, light brown hair reaching down to her waist, and braided sidebangs tied with a red ribbon on both sides of her head. She has piercing bright blue eyes which are especially noticable when she is glaring over you for analysis, a short nose, and lips that seem elegantly small when closed, such that it comes as a surprise to any person noticing her when she yells out in excitement.
Though she does wear the traditional school uniform attire, she usually covers it up with full-set detective suit, complete with trenchcoat, cape, and detective hat. She will change attire if she feels it is necessary to complete a mission (ie go undercover).

-Acquaintence of Rufus (Weasel Overlord): Because of her work she frequents the library often more than she goes to school. Being "cursed" with a fair maiden figure that contrasts with her boyish detective ambition, she frequently becomes the cornerstone of most of Rufus's perverted jokes. Consequently, she has a rather contemptuous attitude towards him. He has, however, apparently helped her out with a few cases.
-Recognizes Amaya (Hinata) in her Boar form: Apparently she helped the poor little piglet out when she was in stress. She doesn't know the boar's true identity.

Ironically she still knows very little about the Sohma Curse.

She always carries around a Magnifying Glass that can do amazing things for "self defense", like become a Hammer, a Solar Powered Ray Gun, or a throwing object with a dangerously sharp handle. Rufus seems to be the victim of most of these "self defense" issues.

Your friendly local scowling teenager. He's a giant walking wet blanket, he is. Sarcastic and too smart for his own good, and he doesn't believe in love at first sight. He thinks you should never take things for granted; also, he nags like a granny. He works hard, though. Sadly for him, Kaoru is a control freak at heart. He can never bear to see even the pillows on the sofa out of place; it simply drives him up, if not into, the proverbial wall. The type that pretends not to care, but does, and thinks that things won't happen to him, but they do. Perceptive. Don't think you can fool him. You can't. ...well, maybe.
History:
An only child. His parents disappeared, or died, under mysterious circumstances when he was eight; thus, he was put in the care of one Rufus Valerius Sohma, a close friend of his father, who was the next named in the will (odd, that Matsuno Kaoru the elder had thought to draft a will so early on in his short life; perhaps he knew what was coming to him?). He tends to avoid Sohma Amaya's room because he is likes to leave creepy gothic things well alone, which is sensible of him, I supose, what with all those possible curses, magic circles and whatnot. He is in his sophomore year of high school, in the manga club.
Appearance:
He's a very ordinary kind of person. 5'8", with a clever face and a cynical twist to the mouth, and dark hair in soft spikes that fall over his dark eyes: he wears glasses for close work. Not terribly remarkable in any aspect, although the glimmer of intelligence in his eye warns you that he's not to be underestimated. He has a mole on the back of his neck. Outside of school he wears the regular t-shirt-and-jeans combo. Is often seen with a broom, mop or pail.

Personality:
For the fact he was born under the Western Zodiac symbol of Virgo, Abi is often picked on for this - mainly because of how many think his physical disorder (will be explained) will prevent him from ever having a really good relationship. He, although a creative thinker and intelligent young man, is rather modest, and as a result, allows the hits to his self-esteem to get at him. As a result, he has lived up to the meaning of his name, "miserable." In spite of this, Abi often tries to find ways to make himself happier, even though love seems distant for him; as a result, he usually expresses these thoughts through speaking, or so much as playing the piano or keyboard he's managed to learn with the aide of his parents. Often called judgemental, he can somehow sense the personality of a person when he "sees" them.
History:
The darkness is all Abi has ever remembered. He was born in the little country of Armenia, the fourth and final child of a nearly middle-aged couple at the time, during the final days of the Soviet Union. (damn those commies!) Stressed and dealing with poverty, the couple had no idea what to do with their "flawed" and only son. They moved to (insert exact area of location here) when he was three, looking for a better future and a way to help their son from what was to happen to him. In the end, however, illness and heredity got the better of him - he went blind when he was only five.
Ever since, Abi can not remember anything related to vision, except that he'd never see again without excessively expensive surgery. He made the decision when he was twelve that he'd wait for such a surgery until when he was older; he didn't want his parents to go through what they had in his native country. Ever since, his three sisters (who'll most likely be named later) and many of his schoolmates have picked on him physically and verbally. Because of this, Abi went into a depression, and struggled with trying to manage his grades. He threatened to drop out of his regular school, but his parents wouldn't allow him. Instead, he suffered, and is now looking for a way out of this hell that incidents have created.
Appearance:
Abi is a rather attractive young boy, somehow meeting the standards of the "hot foreign exchange student," in spite of lacking the accent from his native country. (in fact, I don't even know what an Armenian accent sounds like. o.O) In fact, he looks a bit like a young Serj Tankian. His dark eyes, due to unforgiving blindness, are always hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, and his dark hair thinly curls about his head, coming down to near mid-neck length. (he'd have a mullet were it straightened!) His skin is a bit pale for his natural "ruddy" skin color, going well for his tall, lanky stature.
Abi is often dressed in a plain, almost casual attire matching that of a surfer's. In fact, he has style without him even knowing. This usually consists of plain tees with or without long-sleeved cuffed and necked dress shirts, and usually khakis or jeans, only occasionally a hole or two found around the knees. Footwear is also basic, varying back and forth between sandals and tennis shoes.
