FIGHT!

The Water arena at the Indigo league hasn't seen this much time in a while. At the cusp of having to revolve to a new stadium, or keep his ground for the next combatant, we have UC's Scyther. Challenging him for dominance-and subsequently for change- is Mega's Magmortar.

The pair begin this round quite differently than previous encounters. with Scyther darting backwards over the water, and using his still hurting wings to help him hover. Magmortar, begins to call upon the power of pure unadulterated lava to fall around him-creating a veil to scorch anything that comes with contact with him.

That was the plan, until water droplets began to fall in the Arena. Slickened with moisture, the Lava Plume began to lose its heat, some of the taller plumes dying down and partially hardening. Magmortar growled, that wasn't supposed to happen.

*Raining now*

Knowing he did not have much left energy wise, Scyther opted to fly over the water and start from the farthest in, sticking both blades in the water. Breathing heavy, he surged forward, all that speed being used now to conjure up two large waves, and a V-trail behind him from moving so fast over the Watery arena.

Magmortar didn't care, Scyther had to come to him. He watched the bug make a wide sweeping arc, before speeding directly toward him..and flying up, that Slash not being the focal point of his attack, but the water he forced up! Magmortar covered his face, but the water surged up and struck him through his Lava Plume, dousing it and causing him some damage in the process.

Scyther meanwhile landed over the water, on a metallic lilypad, utterly tired.

Uncool. With his Lava Plume cooled down, he looked at the Scyther-whom just stared back at him. He had nothing right now. But he would. Oh, he would >D Least this worked in Mag's favor, he gained back some energy too.
