Revan fell to the dark side; the exile fell to the dark side. The Jedi are all but dead. And now, there is not one Jedi Knight to stand in the coming threats way. The Republic is collapsing, Onderon fears no one as it has ties to someone darker, and the order is gone, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. A shadow has been cast on the galaxy, and with the Miraluka, and the planet Katarr destroyed, it is now blind.

Yet, darkness could not exist without light. Hidden deep beneath the waves of ocean planet Manaan, Master Vandar, who everyone had believed to be dead after the decimation of Katarr, was training new pupils. Though difficult to train so many padawans and younglings at once, Vandar succeeded in retraining many Jedi. And though he believed many unready, he sent a few from his ‘New Order’ to Nar Shaddaa, where information flows freely.

Having been without the Jedi for at least ten years, many have forgotten them. Vandar wished to use this tactic as he sent his new knights into the darkness, to find out anything they could. Yet he also feared for them, as the shadow of the Dark Lords’ seemed to blow out any sign of light.

Miraluka: A race that was nearly annihilated by Darth Nihilus when he used his supreme dark powers to destroy the force sensitive race and their planet. It is believed that only one Miraluka survived; Visas Marr, though do to the darkness and civil wars breaking out on numerous planets, it is unclear. It is known, however, that Miraluka covered their eyes due to moral reason.

Katarr: The Miraluka home world which was emptied and murdered by Darth Nihilus’s extreme hunger for the force. It rests somewhere in-between Dantoonie and Onderon.

Manaan: A world completely covered in ocean, the Selkath, an amphibious species, lives in its vast waters. However, they have one surface city known as Ahto. The Selkath however, barely remain on their floating city due to Bacta becoming readily available.

Manaan Jedi Academy: Hidden from even the Selkath, the Jedi Academy rests deep below the ocean and has a constant cloaking field around it to keep it undiscovered. It has numerous shuttles that are also permanently cloaked until they clear the field in which they must be in orbit around the planet. Due to its need of secrecy, not even the dying Republic knows of it.

Master Vandar: Is a master of the now non-existent Dantooine Enclave Council and the Jedi High Council. He is the same species as the famed Yoda, yet speaks in more familiar dialect of basic. He now trains perspective Jedi at the Manaan Academy. He is helped by the aspiring students to train the younglings, as he handles the older ones.

Dark Lord Revan: Once an aspiring Jedi Knight, she and her friend Malak ignored the council’s wishes and left to join the Republic that were being decimated by the Mandalorians. She and Malak took many other Jedi with them, like the famed Jedi Exile. Revan showed that she was an expert tactician and commander, and when the war was over, she, Malak and many other Jedi who joined her did not return until many years later. Unfortunately, when she returned, she was Dark Lord of the Sith, and began to wage war against the republic. She was eventually betrayed by her apprentice, Malak, and though the Jedi tried to change her, Revan reverted to her dark ways and killed Malak. Taking back the title of Dark Lord, along with her new apprentice, a young Jedi knight she had met during her second fall to the dark side. Bastila Shan. Revan once again waged war against the Republic, however, stopped suddenly before disappear from known space all together.

The Exile: Unlike many Jedi who served with Revan, the exile did not go with her friend and commander Revan against the Republic. The exile broke away from the force completely, and went into hiding. After being found by a wicked old woman who later was revealed to be the Sith Lord Darth Traya, the exile fell back down into the darkness and murdered her former master and her two apprentices Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion. All known information on the exile has been lost otherwise.

Nar Shaddaa: More commonly know as the smuggler’s moon, Nar Shaddaa is one of the many moons orbiting Nal Hutta. The moon’s surface is completely covered in a sprawling city that has no where to go but up now. Crime takes place on all levels of this massive city, and the law is controlled by the notorious Exchange, the largest crime syndicate at the time.

This RPG is based of the Knights of the Old Republic Games; however, I have modified a few things so that takes place on an alternate timeline. There a few things I must point out, because a few people will miss them if I don’t.

First off, I will allow any number of Jedi (only a couple of which can be a youngling). And I encourage others to be smugglers, politicians, etc or what-not. Second, you can be any race from the Starwars galaxy, but I will not allow any made-up races. Half-breeds are allowed as long as it seems possible. I’d also encourage RPGers to keep in within reason, if you want to be a Hutt, fine. But remember, we’re stuck on a ship a lot, and a Hutt is kind of large. You cannot, under any circumstance, be a character from the movies, or games. If I find out you have taken a character from a movie (or game), change his or her name, and then just copied the rest, you’ll be kicked out of the RPG without a second chance. This RPG was created for you to be creative, so, use your imagination.

You can have up to two Single Hand, or Short Lightsabers. Only one Double Bladed.

Oh, and if it matters in your history or what not. The RPG starts on Nar Shaddaa, so... Work that in.

Name: Skyess Ban
Age: 19

Race: Togruta / Twi’lek
Personality: Strong willed and ill-tempered, Skyess tends to act first and ask questions later. This has brought much displeasure to Master Vandar considering Skyess tends to look for combat and violence rather than embrace the Jedi code of tolerance and peace. However, despite her outward actions, Skyess doesn’t tend to speak much, if at all to people she doesn’t know. Through all of this, she comes off as a leader through her actions; especially when it comes to the code’s rule against striking an unarmed opponent, or a helpless opponent. Skyess Ban often feels that the Academy has been holding back her full potential, and regularly makes it known to Vandar that she believes the code is wrong. To help control her anger, she agreed to help train other Padawans, and Knights in combat, as she excels at it. Once she opens up, people are surprised to find she has a strong opinion and isn’t easily thrown from it, no matter how right the opposition is. Despite all of her bad qualities, Skyess has a soft spot for her closest friend Laylan , and respects her greatly. She’s kind, caring and extremely loyal to her ‘sister’, and would do anything to protect her. Such a bond however, is frowned upon by her master and this leaves Miss Ban even more irritated with the Jedi Code.
Appearance: Skyess looks much more like a Twi’lek than a Togruta. She has the famous ‘beautiful’ Twi’lek female body, though it is covered in an almost glistening black color. She stands about 5’7’’, and has silver eyes. However, like the Togruta she has three Lekku but lack the horns. The Lekku go from black at the very top, to white and finally a deep purple. Bold black stripes are on all three. The two Lekku on the side of her head hang off her shoulders and front of her, while the other lies against her back. Around her eyes are grey patches, probably resulting from the Twi’lek skin colour and the traditional Togruta white patches around the eyes. Skyess is proud of who she is and loves to inspire fear in the younglings by showing them her razor teeth, inherited from her Togruta side. She wears the tradition Jedi robes, though hers are black with a surprising silver sheen to them.

History: Unknown to most, Skyess was born on Korriban, however, once the Sith broke down into civil war, she was left alone. It wasn’t until she was five that she would eventually escape Korriban’s desolate surface by means of stowing away on a ship that had landed to help a crashed Republic vessel. It was two days after first arriving on the ship that the five year old made herself known by stealing a piece of candy for the Cargo Hold in a not so stealthy way. It was then she was discovered by Laylan, who despite being a bit angry at having a stowaway took her in. She lived with Laylan for five years and the two created a strong bond that most said could never be broken no matter what. However, one day, when Laylan and Skyess were on Narr Shaddaa, Skyess was kidnapped and told that her close friend (and mother-like figure) was killed. Skyess Ban was devastated, and then thrown into slavery for a horrible Hutt. However, the force was on Skyess’s side, five years after her intial capture, in a ‘freak accident’ her Hutt master was crushed seemingly by the air, and Skyess was afforded time to escape. She then was discovered by Master Vandar, who took her on board his ship ‘New Hope’, and brought to the Jedi Academy on Manaan.
Skyess met up with Laylan again, and the two became extremely close again. Their bond that had formed seemingly never broke. And the two became more like sisters that the mother-daughter bond they originally formed.

However, Skyess’s horrible memories from being a slave and the feeling when she thought Laylan died never truly vanished, and at points, fester in her heart making her very angry, or very depressed. Though she is able to quell these feelings by learning and mastering Juyo, which allowed her to center her darker emotions.

Other: Despite being an excellent combatant against an opponent with a lightsaber, Skyess’s true power lies within the force. She finds it easy to manipulate and control, and she trains in secret to further her power. She is well aware such power could lead to the dark side, but as long as she has her sister, she feels she cannot fall to it. Skyess Ban also has two lightsabers, though she rarely uses the second one as she has never needed to surprise her opponents, the Juyo style does that for her.
