I'm not a n00b to pokémon but I havent played Ru/Sa yet and I wondered about pokémon's personalities.
I know that they give an increase on some stats and a decrease on others but I have a few questions.

1. Are pokémon given random personalities?
2. How many personalities are there?
3. Does it make a lot of difference in battle having a good personality for your paticular pokémon?
