Official 2nd Generation REMAKE Thread

Ok I am a were that we already have two topics about the G/S/C but seeing how there both old and dead I thought I'd post a newer one. Sorry ^_^:

Anyways here is my thoughts, yes there should be a remake of the G/S/C games, I say this however not just for the fact my G/S/C internal batteries have died, but I would like to see it in better graphic and a some what flushed out plot.

So here my Ideas

Ok now lets say when we save the Jahto Radio tower we get the clear bell like in Crystal now then you may ask your self how do we get the Silver and rainbow wings then?

Well what if for the silver wing you need to catch Moltres, Zapdos and Aricuno in that order, but were would they be you might ask the Sevii Islands.

Moltres on Mt. Ember however you need the “Red Feather” given to you by like a Fire breather who found it in Victory Road that is after you bat them in a battle.

Zapdos: Perhaps a new Island with something like Mt. Thunder on it and you need the Yellow Feather” given to you by the manager of the Power Plant as thanks for retuning the part that Rocket grunt stole since Zap Cannon is not a TM anymore.

Aricuno: Perhaps a new Island with something like say Snowtop Mountain
on it and you need the Blue Feather” given to you by a Swimmer ♀ that standing on the remains of the Seafoam Islands, have to beat her fist.

Now then once you have the titans of Fire Ice and lighting in hand go to the Whirl Islands but wait what is this a tower named the “New Brass Tower” is in the spot were Lugia stood now what do we do? What else go in an and beat all the sages and the lead Sage well say that you have shown that you indeed are worthy of the to take the Silver Wing.

Now then don’t think all your hard work was for nothing for now lets take a look at how to get the legendary beast shall we?

Now then like in G/S/C you wake up the best in the basement of the Burnt tower, however like in Crystal Suicune runs around you before running off.

And like in Crystal you meat Suicune several times, but you well only be able to face it In the Tin Tower once you catch both Entei and Raikou.

Here how after you beat the Elite four insert a FR/LG into your DS and turn it on and go talk to blue standing on Cinnabar and he says something along the lines of "Three years ago an Entei roomed Kanto I guess it was born when this Volcano erupted." Then when he leaves Entei Appears and bastes a opening into the side of the Volcano and it goes in so you have to go in after it batting wild Slugma, Magcargo and the like until you find Entei and it well challenge you to a fight and once you catch it, leave but the cave will remain.

For Raikou go back to the Power Plant and talk to the Manager and he well oppen up a door that leads to the secret cambers where wild electric pokemon are and Raikou is in the chamber that Zapdos used to be in

Now then once you catch all three beast the Stares to the rest of the Tin tower appears now what’s this even more Sages?! Well beat them all up to earn the Rainbow wing from the leader.

Oh grate now you have the Silver and Rainbow wings but if Lugia and Ho-oh are not at the Whirl Islands and Tin Tower where the hell are they you ask, Answer is quite simple there at Navel Rock.

To get to at Navel Rock what you need to do is go back to the bament of the Burnt Tower and Eusine well be waiting for you beat him and he well you the Mysticticket, and say something along the lines of a friend of his that works for game frak gave him it however do to the fact he did not have the Silver and Rainbow wings nothing was on the Island.

So yeah I know it wont happen but it makes the requirements for getting Lugia and Ho-oh a bit more tougher pulse it makes reference to the fact that Lugia and Ho-oh are the trio masters of the birds and the beast.

And I can see loads of possible features for a GSC remake. I'd like to see the Sevii Islands remain, and perhaps they could add a closer adaptation of the Orange Islands or something. (What can I say, I've wanted that for years.) Maybe that would offer further opportunities for encounters with the mysterious Red, too.

I dunno; I'm probably dreaming here. Still, I always loved the prospect of visiting the Orange Islands. Badges++!

funny you should say that Brian I was thinking of doing that for a fic, besides there is stuff in the FR/LG Bata that shows they were planing to make more Islands it's funny really since if they had made 24 Islands that you could goto in the games pulse the event Islands Navel Rock, Birth Island and Faraway Island that would make 27 Islands all together the same amount of islands as the Orange Islands has.

And as as I stated above it would be cool if they made it so that your required to catch the Titans of Fire Ice and Lighting to get the Silver Wing so that it follows a some what similar plot to the movie, I mean it was kind of a let down that all you need to get Lugia was the Silver Wing and not that you need the birds to get the Silver Wing to get Lugia.

GSC was nothing more then a experiment, and that Kanto ruined Johto.

ROFL,first of all so what if it was an experiment at lest it did not turn on it's creators and destroy them like Mewtwo did.

Well I would not go that far the main reason behind a smaller Kanto was purely do to the fact the the technology was more useless then a level 100 Magikrap. which explains why they had to down grade the maps take for example the Lake of Rage the bata for it shows that there was going to be a town there which could have very well been Blackthorn, since Lance is reading the sign and as we all know Lance and Claire are cousins and that we never see him visiting Blackthorn his home town but just the Lake of Rage what's up with that?!

They should take out the stupid Underground crap to save space, however if they do the Underground again then they need to make it useful which I do have a idea for Add in a Unown element, have you dig up pieces to the Unown puzzle which you can use to unlock more areas

They should also put in the Orange Islands, by doing that they could use the touch screen and MIC for badge trials in the Orange Islands. Like using the Touch Screen to aim your water pokemon to shoot down the discs. Or blow into the mic to have your character go down the mountain faster on the bobsled while steering them with the touch screen.

While do agree digging up the Spheres is Annoying you do get rare Items such as fossils from the underground, I could see them having all three Kanto fossils, since there were no Johto Fossil Pokemon >_> and there should also be wild Pokemon in the underground and that you are required to use a few HMs such as flash, Straight, Dig (that actually is used to digs stuff out of the walls and ground not be a free escape rope thought it could be an option.), Rock Smash and Rock Climb. now I like your Idea of digging up Unown Puzzle pieces perhaps there could be a story behind them like say that the puzzles, the ruins of Alpha the Tanoby Chambers and the Solaceon Ruins are all the relics of Pokélantis but like the King was evil so Ho-oh had somoned an Aura Guardian to defeat the evil king.

a much simpler answer would to expand the Sevii Islands which is basically the game counterpart to the Orange Islands, like I said they could use the plot of the movie 2000 nhell they could even throw in New Island and have Mewtwo there

And like he says something along the lines of "I was not Born a Pokémon I was created and my Creators used and betrayed me thus I stand alone!" however instead of fighting and catching Mewtwo you fight him as if he was a trainer, and he sends out his own team of Pokemon consisting of Pikachu, Meowth, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Rhyperior and he says this after you beat him "Now I see, it dose not matter how you were born but what you do with the Gift of Life, here take this old Sea chart it well lead you to Mew." then Mewtwo goes on to explain the following "My Creator Dr. Fuji found Mew on Faraway Island and that he cloned me from it's DNA so that he could find out how to bring his Daughter Amber back to life."

LOL J/K but that wold be kind of nice to make a refrence the the Animé plot lines some what, and I'll give an Oreo to the first person to guess why Mewtwo team is like that and why he did not evolve his Pikachu and Meowth but the rest of his team are fully evolved.
