Prologue

~~~~~~~~The Future~~~~~~~

It seems like it was only yesterday that I a black noble Charizard, was just a hatchling no more then 6 weeks old from my egg in my parent's nest in a cave on the upper levels of the Dragon’s den in Johto that over looked Blackthorn City.

“You are Such a wimp King your just a pathetic Excuse for a Charmander, and to top it all off not only are you the runt of the nest you look defiant then the rest of us to…” Snarled my older bigger Brother. also a Charmander.

“Hey at lest I am not a big Butthead like you are!” I Snarled back, as I got up off the Ground and walked off and I could hear Flair taunting that he hopes that I get caught by a some Stupid human...

I just rolled my eyes, as I walked our the cave...

Then I noticed how hungry I was so I looked around but saw nothing to eat, then I saw another Cave and herd a voice calling out “Are you hungry? If so come on in and join me for dinner youngster, I won’t Bite.” So I went in and saw nothing but a large nest, hello I asked but there was no Answer so I walked in a bit further and saw a huge white Aerodactyl that Smacked it‘s Lips...

“Most exultant you well make a fine meal for Drago, Yes you well.” he said as he Drooled...

“Eek!” I screamed. ‘Note to self Steep a way from the Psychopath’ I thought to myself as I ran out of the cave and down the rouged mountain path...

“Wait where are you going I haven eaten you yet?!” Screeched the Psychopath named Drago as he came flying out of his cave after me...

“All, man, I thought I lost this Psychopath...” I said to myself as I ran then I tripped over a sleeping Geodude’s Arm and he woke up angrily and also started to Chase me, Man this just is not my DAY! I yelled as I lost my balance and started to slide down the side of the mountain. Man I just had to go in that cave. I thought to myself as I went head first down a Shaft of some sorts.

Ryu was sitting on the couch Reading his History text book in the living room, see his teacher at Blackthorn high had assigned the class to wright a report on the History of Blackthorn City and the Dragon’s Den as that nights home work..

Ryu looked up the chapter on Blackthorn and was disgusted at the fool who wrote it, because the way the book told it all of Ryu’s clans History was nothing more then a common Fairytale… Ryu threw his text book into the fire place where it belonged…

Char! Ryu heard a voice say and was Shocked to a wild Black skinned Charmander sitting there in the raging fire of the fire place, and it was crowing in fear for some odd reason, Then Ryu herd the Angry Screeching that he recognized as that of an Aerodactyl, so he looked out the window and saw a giant White Aerodactyl Circling over the house

‘Oh just grate I landed in some human’s house, but at lest I am safer in here then out side where that Psychopathic Drago is I think.’ I thought to myself as I watched the human with both fear and wonder, I have herd of humans before from other Pokémon that lived on the upper Levels of the Dragon’s Den, but they depicted humans as being vile and evil creatures whose only purpose in life if to fight in wars.

I looked at this human of sorts as it looked at me, he had some what long Spiky Flaming golden hair and bright Green eyes, and, I stared at him for a few seconds, and thought to myself how could he be dangerous, I thought as I felt Something I never in my life felt before. 'Could this be love, ‘could I really grow to love this human as a friend and call him master at the same time?’ I thought then I herd the Psychopath again...

“Hey come on now you tasty snack, I have not eaten is three days! I promise I well make your death swift and painless.” Drago complained.

“Hi Charmander, I have an extra sandwich do you want it?” Ryu asked as he placed near the fire.

You know not all humans are vile and evil like my brother and rival Ryan is, he thinks you Pokémon are just tools of war, well I don’t my father and his father taught me that we should not try to force a Pokémon to fight in a battle it dose not want to, and that the way to tame you is not threw being mean and cruelty, but rather to show love and respect to you...

I, would understand if you want to be set free, but if I were in you I would not go out side there a giant white Aerodactyl out there looking for you I guess.” He said and winked as he grabbed another sandwich and began to eat it... By the way my name Ryu Charles Legend,.” Ryu said.

I looked at him wearily as I stock my face out of the flames, because I still have that Psycho's lie fresh in my mind, I looked down and saw the Sandwich and Smelled it, then I shot a small Ember Attack at just to see if it was really food, or whether it was kind of newly discovered Pokémon I did not know about yet...

After a few seconds I realized it was just what Ryu said it was, and hearing my belly Rumbling with hunger I toke a bite of it and called out my name happily, after I finished Eating it, Looked up at Ryu, and saw a green red and white metal Spear on the table next to him.

So I picked it up and threw it in the air and it hit my head and I could fell every cell in my body being ripped apart, But at the same time I felt like I was falling down that blasted chimney again and landed on a soft Pillow and I fell asleep and had a dream...

“Dude will you please Stop Black mailing me Drago?” I Snarled as I dodged his wing attack, by flying to the right.

I did not know how much longer Ryu could hold on, I had to get him to a hospital, Oh if only he had not taken the hit for me, oh why did he take the hit from Drago’s Hyper Beam?!?” I Roared out in agony.

'No this can’t be happing Ryu your going to make it threw this I swear it!' I thought to myself as I looked at my trainer that I held tightly in my Arms. As I flapped my black leathery wings faster... The one who Saved my life hundreds of times now deepened on my protection from Drago...

I woke up and felt a Stream of tears running down my black cheeks then looked around and saw a small box, and saw that was like the TV in Ryu’s house, so I turned it on and a Voltorb with a British accent appeared and told me every thing I need to know about my Pokéball.

“Now as you know humans carry us in these balls yet they don't have a clue what we do in them. Oh how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself my name is Orb 007 and this TV you are watching is part of the Pokéball Communication Network or PCN for short, which the my fellow Voltorb and I have Programmed in to every Single Pokéball. We have also created a program to also allow Pokémon to come out on there own but the humans can still call you back.” Orb said.

“Really how?” I asked

“By saying your name.” Orb said dully.

*An alarm is herd*

“What the hell?” I asked.

“Oh that's the system to warns you if your trainer is in…” Orb begin to say…

“CHARMANDER!” I Roared…

“Wait Sensors indicate that it’s…” Orb started to say…

But before I heard the rest of what Orb was saying, I could felt every cell in my body being ripped apart, but at the time I felt like I was a rocket coming out of a rocket launcher.

“Oh hiya there King, did you enjoy your nap, you tasty Snack?” Drago asked as he drooled onto Ryu who he had Penned to the ground…

“Leave him alone you Psychopathic Jerk!” I Roared with hatred at the Psychopath…

“But Of course I well, under one Condition.” Drago said. “if I let him go I get to eat you!”

“YOU WHAT?!” I Roared as I could not see how that be fair to me.

“Ah yes this is the right one.” Ryu whispered as he some how managed to grab a Pokéball of his belt “Go Mars!”

I watched as a very beautiful Hot Pink Flygon materialized, in front of me.

“Whoa what a babe!” Drago Said and Drooled even more and fell on Ryu who Screamed in degust.

“Hey big strong and hansom if you really think I am Pretty, why don’t you let my trainer go and I well fly with you to your cave and make love to you…” The Pink Flygon named Mars said softly.

‘Ha I bet this Aerodactyl so stupid that he well believe Mars can mate with him which is imposable anyways.’ Ryu thought with a knowing Smirk.

“Well ok but can we at lest bring that Charmander along to eat?” Drago wined as he let Ryu go and turned his back on Mars.

“Watch this King.” Mars whispered to me and grabbed Drago by the tail and started to swing him around in a circle and sent him crashing into the Ice Cave and a Mamoswine used Sheer Cold to freeze the demented Arodactyl in a block of Ice as punishment for invading it‘s territory then it walked away.

Ryu got up, and then recalled King and Mars and headed towards the shore of Lake Blackthorn he herd a voice behind him.

“That was an Impressive Seismic Toss, even if it was a Freak of Nature who used it!” Ryan Sneered, as he walked up behind Ryu.

“Shut your trap Ryan!” Ryu glared at his brother.

“Hey Ryu, were you going I thought mom told you that you had to do your report before you could go play with the Dratini, if mom knew.” Ryan said.

“I thought I just told you to shut the hell up Ryan, Fine have it your way!” Ryu snarled. “Go Rage use Tackle attack on my idiotic brother!”

“Karp?!” the golden Magkarp Said then flopped over and hit Ryan a few dozen times before Rage managed to knock him out.

“Good work Rage!” Ryu said, The pathetic fish let out a small stream of bluish-green fire, about the size of an Ember attack. “Karp?!” Rage Said and then started to glow and quickly Evolved into a Gyarados and Ryu climbed on and surfed behind a waterfall and into a mostly secret Entrance into the Dragon’s Den, however both the Elder and Ryu’s father told him about it…

Ryu had entered what looked like a dead end however there was a faded drawing of a Gyarados using Dragon Rage, and so Ryu ordered Rage to use Dragon Rage on the drawing, after the attack finished there was a load rumble and a large fissure in the wall opened up and Ryu told Rage to enter it…
