Last night a crazy but perhaps plausible thought popped into my head. If anyone remembers, I did a fantasy trilogy called Monica's Army, Revolution and Vendetta respectively. Army was deleted during the board shift IIRC, and Vendetta was left unfinished.

The reason was mainly due to my lack of inspiration after writing TPML, which was a trainer fic and less fantasy-based. Anyway I've gotten some real desire to carry on with the series, and the characters, but am thinking of starting a fourth part in the series, and instead of tying everything up in Vendetta, leaving it open and use the new part to fill in the gaps.

It would be set about three or four years after Vendetta, and during the course of the fic we would learn what transpired at the end of Vendetta. Alternatively, I could finish Vendetta up and start something new. I'm unsure.

I am really compelled by the idea of putting characters into new situations without explaining why or how, and slowly peeling away until everything between the two fics is apparent.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
