Federal funding ban for embryonic stem cell research repealed

This is a step forward for science, and with some of the world's best scientists and facilities in America, hopefully the extra funding will boost research in a field that could potentially unlock the key to the cures of some of the worst illnesses and diseases on this planet.

About time, I only worry that the stories about some of the Embryo stem cells producing cancer are not wide spread. But like I said, about time we started back on this.

Edit: I did forget ( thanks to my brain running on like Zero Power ) that the ban originally came about as a careful bi partisan compromise by Bush, as he found a middle ground between the Right and Left. Which really is the only problem I could see with such a repeal.
