How do you guys fare up with purchasing gifts? Do you find it a struggle trying to find out what they could potentially like? Do you have a gift (pun definitely intended) in doing so? Or do you not give a shit, and buy them a gift voucher or give them some money?

Since 2009 has been the year that most of my friends have turned 21, I've tried to take in extra care for purchasing a good gift. I think I've done okay, however sometimes I do struggle. Since it's 21, I try to get something sentimental: jewelery, something that means to our friendship/past or just something I know they'll enjoy.

When it comes to my 21st, I'm not going to lie: I hope I get a plethora of awesome gifts to show how much everyone loves me.
