Actually Roethlisberger played just fine despite the conditions. He was 18 for 32 with no interceptions and 201 yards, and that's including several perfect passes that his receivers just dropped. His counterpart Brady Quinn finished like 6 for 17 for 90 yards, which is awful lol. What killed the Steelers was Josh Cribbs who is a freak of nature. We always struggle against him for some reason.
And no, the Steelers can still mathematically make the playoffs, but they would have to win out and the Faguars would have to lose out. In addition, the Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins would need to lose at least two of their last three to allow Pittsburgh to have a better record, the only exception to this being the Dolphins, who testically could finish 9-7 along with the Steelers, provided the Steelers beat them of course. Suffice it to say it's possible for Pittsburgh to make the playoffs, but highly unlikely.
It's ok, I'll enjoy watching the Bengals get thrashed by the Colts in the AFC Championship game, if they even get that far
I'm just kidding, my hat goes off to Cincinnati for putting together an excellent season. I wish them luck.
