Legend has it he ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Begins, and mew put a curse on him and all his decedents making them insane, Mew also cursed his all the members of his crew turning them in to the carvings of the Unown that cover the phantom’s hull which have mysterious and unknown powers.
