Knowing things could get rough, Zapdos falls back to the ground, and prepares to take a rest. Darkrai does not like that prospect one bit and flies off a massive Ice Beam to try and chill the bird into submission. Zapdos falls over, but its clear he's just asleep..

Astounded by the fact that this bird seems able to take a hell of alot of damage, Darkrai uses a Dark Pulse to try and break the cycle. Zappy doesn't even move-it doesn't have the strength to.

Still sound asleep, Zapdos is a sitting oversized electric turkey. a chilling blast rains down as Darkrai floats over him and fires mercilessly. Does Zapdos even move? No. Darkrai realizes he's almost spent, and the bird doesn't even look worse for wear!
