After that fustercluck of a round, both trainers recall their Pogeys from the soggy battlefield before making new selections. DCM releases a plant-covered lizard creature while Ayeun, on the other hand, goes for a yellow salamander with a fiery tail. Neat-o! Suddenly, two pies come whizzing our way care of DF and Darkly. Cynder also jumps up and heckles but opts not to throw a pie. The desserts strike Amazon, burying her under blueberry and pumpkin goo. When she gets up and wipes the sugary crap off her face, her muscles feel a little stuff. Uh-oh. I think we all know what that means.

Delighted by her opponent’s pie-related misfortune, Burn ambles forward and roasts the Grovyle alive with a chipper Flamethrower. Amazon wails as the fire scorches her mercilessly and eventually manages to bring the assault to an end by generating a series of rocks which come slamming down upon Burn, trapping her beneath their weight.

Dazed, Burn begins to squirm her way out of the rocks. Once she’s free, she looks up just in time to see—or, rather, hear—Amazon hacking up some Toxic goo from her belly. Not so fast! Burn throws up an orange barrier that shields her entirely. Hah! Seeing this, Amazon decides to change her course of action by flinging mud at the Charmander. The gunk strikes the Protective barrier uselessly.

Eat flames! Burn ruthlessly subjects Amazon to a second snaking trail of flames. This time, however, the Wood Gecko Pokemon can’t stop her with more rocks. Her muscles seize up, rendering her immobile.
