According to NintendoWorldReport, a new 3D Pokédex app will be among the initial offerings of the Nintendo 3DS eShop when it launches next week.
The app will feature only the new Pokémon from the Black and White versions, and will initially only come with 16 entries. To get additional entries, you'll have to scan QR codes (those black and white pixel codes usually scanned with smartphones), download them over WiFi, or swap data with friends.
You'll also be able to put Pokémon in pictures taken with the 3D camera. Remember our April Fools' article about being able to take pictures of Pokémon in your own backyard? Well, now you'll actually be able to do it!
