Yes well, apparently I like ASB at the moment. So I’m issuing a challenge to people.

Players: 4 – 6(ish)

Pokemon: 2, 1 out at a time.

Rules:
- You may not use super effective moves on each other (if you get caught in the crossfire, the damage you receive is halved).
- Toxic, Non-Damaging Healing Moves, Substitute and Pain Split are banned.
- Everyone’s first pokemon and actions are sent to ref.

Arena: The Blitzball Arena

An old arena I used, the Blitzball Arena is a massive water sphere in which the sport ‘blitzball’ is played. The water itself does not hinder nor aid any types, so any attack generally works in the arena. However, anything that can overly disrupt the sphere or change its balanced nature won’t work (earthquake, fissure and super-sized whirlpools for example, would fail as will any and all weather moves). Obviously, attacks like fly, bounce and dig have little use in the sphere, you can use them to perhaps move quickly/more efficiently in a general direction, but there is nothing stopping the others from chasing you.

A massive crowd has come out to see the battle tonight, the players better not disappoint (up to ref's discretion if this impacts the game).

Getting knocked out of the sphere generally costs no health or energy, however, if the opponent manages to slam you so hard out that you crash into the floor, or stadium seats some damage might be taken (up to ref’s discretion). Otherwise, pokemon won’t leave the arena (you cannot fly out and around it, so don’t try).

There is also a random floating blitzball in the center of the sphere, that can be used as a weapon.

Everyone can move around the sphere at the pace they would have in a normal environment. Let's assume everyone is suddenly decent at swimming, shall we? No pokemon shall receive damage from the sphere if they're weak against water, nor can anyone drown.
