Default Comeback Battle! Blade VS. Rossymore (Ref: Oslo)

*flicks the lightswitch, tears down the cobwebs, and blows the dust clear*

Haven't looked up my file for too damn long. So, I have 16 points in the bank and 19 Pokemon... many of whom have never battled...? That has to be fixed.

Yes, after over a year of relative inactivity, it's time for this withered old E4 corpse to rise from his discount coffin in a shallow grave and feast on some new blood. Young blood, old blood, doesn't matter. Blood's like cheese: Time only enhances the flavor and texture.

    SO

...How do we do this again?

    Oh, right.

NUMBER: If this is a comeback, let's keep it simple. Three-on-three, one Pokemon out at a time.
TURN ORDER: Our Referee shall choose who sends out first and who attacks first.
DQ TIME: A week? Nah, I'm not that impatient anymore... Ten days sounds fine.
BANNED MOVES: I list none. If you wish for any moves to be banned, ask me and we'll negotiate. I DO want to limit sub moves to 1 per attack sequence.
ARENA: Ahhh, I used to love making these... Some were a bit complex. Others were testicles/clitoris-being-smashed-with-a-meat-tenderizer complex. Few were ever very simple, but since I haven't been here for a long while, let's start off small. The arena will be someplace else that I haven't been to in awhile:

    Bob-Omb Battlefield.

A square plot approximately 100 m on all sides, the 'Battlefield' has actually become quite peaceful in the 8 years since Super Mario 64 DS. The only Bob-Ombs to be found are pink Bob-Omb Buddies, mild-mannered little cannon-makers who really need to be pushed far before they'll even consider exploding. Bowser's minions, the more volatile black Bob-Ombs, regular avalanches of giant iron spheres, and unwarranted water bomb death from above are all long-gone, leaving few obstacles to worry about. Fall damage from the mountain, floating island, and canyon are really the only concerns.

Power-ups, on the other hand, are widespread:

-Coins won't heal a Pokemon, but they can make handy projectiles in a pinch.
-Brick blocks can provide protection from weaker attacks, though they will break once struck hard enough.
-1-UP Mushrooms will restore a Pokemon to 100 HP and EN, but only if that Pokemon is at 15 HP or lower. Otherwise they'll scoot away from you. Try and outspeed or outsmart them, and they'll vanish outright.
-Two pairs of warp spots can be used for positioning or quick escapes. One pair is in small burrows in the mountain path; the other can be found in a pair of flower patches at the east and west ends of the map.
-On the floating island and near the southeast corner of the area are two red '!' Blocks. Striking these produces a Winged Cap, which grants its wearer the ability to fly and thus use rudimentary flying attacks and maneuvers. The Cap lasts for three rounds before disappearing, while the '!' blocks will regenerate two rounds after being broken.

And Water-type Pokemon, don't worry about the dryness of the place. The Bob-Omb Buddies know what's up, and they'll gladly use their water cannons to aid your precious Surf and Waterfall attacks.

I think that's all. I was gonna add the Chain Chomp in somewhere, but this is getting long enough already.

    Come at me, ASBro.
