You search for some kind of writing implement. After a minute of rummaging through all of the mess, you locate a clipboard and pen tucked away behind a stack of dictionaries. Aha! You carefully place the pen in the robotic arm's hand and set the clipboard on the ground. The arm gets to work, writing out a message. It seems to have some difficulty with the task, but it manages in the end. Well. Mostly.
