would you eat them?
No, it's not that thread, but given the title I picked, I couldn't help but make that reference.
My question is what pokemon would you find where you live. Yeah, this is somewhat inspired my Mikachu's post in the Google Maps Pokemon Challenge thread, where he joked about finding ice-types in his backyard, but I always thought it'd be a cool idea for a topic.
So, if Pokemon were real, and you were an aspiring Pokemon Master living in your part of the real world, what sort of Pokemon would you expect to find?
For me, I'd say Krabby/Kingler would be the obvious ones, since the Chesapeake Bay, which is right down the street from me, is known for its crabs. Also, Wingull/Pellipper, since I live near the water, so there are plenty of seagulls around. It wouldn't be all water-types though, Deerling/Sawsbuck, Zigzagoon, Buneary, and Pachirisu would all be common, since they're similar to the common local wildlife. Rufflet and Braviary would be around but rare, since bald eagles have been seen around here, but are a rare sight. Another rare one would be Lapras, since the Chesapeake Bay is also known for having its own Nessie-like sea monster named Chessie, who very well could be a Lapras in real life, you never know.![]()
