===Round 9===

After a fierce exchange of blows, Blink seems to be getting drowzy. The fighter kneads the ground a little bit, before sitting cross legged and committing himself to sleep. As this occurs, Cthulu calls upon its ancient memories and throws down a beam of unrelenting force upon the one that DARES sleep in the midst of battle.

The sleeping boxer hops up and runs toward Cthulu, still eager to battle. This pleases the small seaweedmon, as it readies another torrent of power to disable the foe with. Blink zips left and right and manages to strike with a Thunderpunch. The sparks radiate throughout the small body of water....then begin to climb up and through into a large pillar, Cthulu at its peak. The pillar then Pumps down, slamming into Blink and leaving him pinned for the duration of the pumps return into the ground.

Somehow, Blink avoided drowning during that attack. I'd love to know how he did that. But anyway, Blink hopped back up and went on the defensive. Evading left and right as Cthulu readied another blast of energy. There was some luck involved here, as the Dragon Pulse blazed right past the speeding Hitmonchan!
