Reawakened

Time repeats itself

Long ago, during ancient times, there was a time not of peace nor neutrality, but of destruction, pain, and grief. Demons had grown in power due to lack of nobility in the world, and thus there was no one who could rise against the Demonica Empire, and the warlords which resided over their own individual land had all the contol. Not only were there these demonic warlords, but there was an even greater Demon who ruled over them as well. He was the main river which spawned the streams of evil into the earth, and the humans were easily overtaken. Soon, other earthly creatures were also taken over- the elves, the sirens, etc… until demons gained true domination. No one seems to stand a chance to even the children of the warlords, and the people were losing hope and faith in ever seeing the dawn of peace again.
But they still had hope.
One lone warrior who had no honorable family name to mention, traveled along one of the flowing rivers which flowed upwards from the tree- it did this from the magic of the elven folk. He had no training from a Senpai, nor did anyone really know him at all to where he came from. He had no royal heritage, and even in a world of destruction, a lone warrior with no acknowledgeable name was hardly worth taking seriously. The warrior went only by one name, Kourya, and with this name he could have easily given himself, he trained by the bewitched riverside. With nothing but a sword with strange enscriptions into the silver-laden blade, did he defend himself with. One day, Kourya encountered the young kyn of a demonlord, and in it’s hunger, it attacked Kourya. Withlightening, almost natural, flawless techinique, the lone warrior slaughtered the demon. It was that act, as his blade dripped with the blood of the demon, which awakened the soul of the forest and the river. Together, in harmony, both the forest and the river bestowed their powers and magic into Kourya and his blade, and with that they gave him the destiny of a hero. Whispering in his ears, they told him he was the one- he had to kill the king of the Demonica Empire – Youkaishi.
So, Kourya began his journey. He was shunned by all the villagers as he passed, for he was still a lone warrior with no family name and honor in their eyes. He would look at them through the bang-like strands of hair which hung over his piercing green-eyed gaze, and pass them quietly. However, in his quest to the Northern Demonican Mountains, where he had overheard that was there Youkaishi reigned, he met a female Elven named Celyai. Normally Kourya would pass all creatures, even Elves, with out another thought. She however, held a sword and a defiant gaze and boldly she stood in front of his walking path. With slight, yet quiet annoyance, he looked at her and nodded in acknowledgement, but gave no further movement. As he tried to go around her figure, she swiftly and gracefully stepped in his way again.
“ By what name heirs you?” She spoke, her voice soft and song-filled, that of an elf, but a bit more rash.
“ None.” He shortly answered, but instead of scoffing Kourya, instead Celyai gave her first name and not her family’s as well. She then followed Kourya as he walked, stating that in this day in age it did not matter anyway. Kourya was not very interested in her at first, but as she slowly broke his defensive shield which had grown from the hard hearts of villagers, he began to open up. They traveled together, Celyai not knowing where they were going, but trusting Kourya’s goal.
Then one night he told her when they were in the heart of the Northern Mountains.
“ Celyai, do not follow me. What I must do can only be done alone by me, and I would much rather turn back to see you quietly wait in the heart of the wild, then to follow me and face what I must face.”
She protested, but finally Kourya convinced her to stay and he left to journey into the gaping jaws of the lair of Youkaishi. After a few nights, Kourya finally came face to face with the snake-like eyes of Youkaishi, the Demonica Empire’s Lord. Youkaishi laughed cold-heartedly, stating how he had defeated armies and none have even touched him, and yet Kourya fancied to defeat the Demon Lord. Kourya said nothing, and soon they went into a dance of sword against the powers of darkness. Their battle went on for days, until both were tired… when suddenly things turned. Youkaishi had the upperhand and had Kourya pinned against the wall of the dark, humid caves, and Kourya saw himself facing death itself. Just then, a blinding light of silver fed into the air and the demon lord gave a scream as a sword was embedded into his eye. The Demon lord turned, and there Kourya saw too, was Celyai. Celyai had her defiant gaze again, but Youkaishi was furious, and Kourya could give no warning as the demon’s tail wrapped around her, and instantly fed her poisen, and her body became lifeless.
Kourya was angry- angry at Celyai for not listening, and angry at the demon for taking away the only one who ever cared for him upon Earth. In a furry which lasted less then an hour, Kourya slayed the Demon Lord.

With this single act alone, the Demonica Rule weakened, and the dark energy which lingered in the air was shattered and all the demons upon earth became weakened. Some how, villagers, elven folk, faeys, and all creatures sensed this, and easily began to slaughter the demons of the world. But Kourya was not happy, he was depressed… and he felt his world had no more greater meaning than to simply kill and then be lonely once again. He did not want to be lonely, not when he had a taste of what it was like to not be alone…

The Soul of the Forest and Water however, knew that Time did not intend the reign of peace to last forever. Feeling Kourya’s pain, the Souls of Forest and Water decided to give Kourya another life, so that he may perhaps find a life filled with more than loneliness. So with the help of the Soul of Sky, they trapped Kourya’s soul into a stone tablet, and hid it deep with in a temple in the thickets of a Forest.

That was in ancient times… before any countries or great Kings were even truly formed. Now, about 3000 years later, time does repeat.

Deep from the ocean, where many demons have lay hidden for thousands of years ever since the downfall of Demonica, have rose. Humans long have grown dominant over the world, and all other creatures have either been killed off by human’s greed or technology, and the others have gone into hiding. The humans also forgot the time’s gift of magic, and thus with their magic, the Demons easily destroyed all the cities filled with technology, so the humans had no more power, electricity or any technology to rely on. Soon they flourished, until they were the dominant race, and they grew to power so that they proclaimed they were the Demonica Empire again. Of course, no human remembers the ancient past of how this had happened once before, and it seems they have no hope to rely upon.

A few creatures not of human race upon the earth however, have awakened. They have no power to stop the demons, and they too, have forgotten most of the magic of Ancient times. However…

Whether it be a human, elven, siren, faey, or any other creature – one of them, will have fled deep into a forest to escape the jaws of a hungry demon, when they will run into a temple. This temple is over run with vines, so it seems there is no opening until suddenly vines give way to show a dark, clammy opening… it looks unforgiving, and any sane person would not enter. But a demon is about to eat this creature, so they quickly go inside. It is there they find beautiful walls painted with as many colors as one mind can comprehend, of the time when demons did rule- although no one can decipher their meaning. But in the center of this temple… is a large, stone tablet with carvings upon it made of silver and gold….

What Kourya did not know, what the Souls of Sky,Forest and Water did not tell him- was that time would repeat itself. But when time repeats itself, it also magnifies itself. They knew demons would rise again, but when they would, they would be far more powerful and destructive then ever before. They knew that if they sealed Kourya, he would awaken when the Demons came to rule again. But this time, he would only awaken if the hands of a descendant from Ancient times, a destined one, would touch the tablet which held Kourya’s soul. For he would need to aid of destined ones- the creatures, whether they be human or not, choosen by the Souls of Sky, Forest and Water. When Kourya would awaken, no longer would he be human but he would be a Full-Formed Spirit- a Spirit who takes real form, and who cannot die of age. Only when Kourya and the Destined Ones find each other, and worked together- putting aside their differences, would they have the power to defeat the Demonica Rule.

…and the figure who entered the tablet, felt a calling from those silver and gold carvings. Naturally, he/she reached out to touch it… and as they did so, suddenly the colors from the walls came to life and sprang out, swirling like a tornadoe around the figure and the tablet. Suddenly the colors melted together into one, and formed a figure which glowed brightly, until Kourya suddenly stood there in it’s place. For legend states, when times repeats itself, some thing will be Reawakened.

Name: Sylvaria Trena'lithe Mai
Species: Half Elf/Siren
Role: Destined One
First Enterance: Some where near the temple, minding her own business and not really looking for or at anyone..
Gender: Female
Age: Young Adult-looking.
Appearance: Heere! She looks just like that... hair is like that, her deep green eyes are like that, and her pale yet silky soft complexion. Since she's half siren, she also has black wings which contrast oddly with her fair skin, but the black wings have an almost dusty appearance at the tiips of each feather because the tips fade from black into white.
Clothing: She wears a loose, long-sleeved leaf-green shirt which has a tiny leather string which entwines at the end of each sleeve so it can be tightened upwards around the top of her shoulders if it gets hot. The shirt reaches to the end of her ribs, where it exposes her abdomin a bit but then she wears dark black pants, but when closely looked at, small, dark green leaf patterns are sown into them but it is so fine that human eyes cannot tell. She has a small, thin yet very strong string-like leather tied around her waist and woven by three strands of it together to make a very nimble belt. Here, a pouch is dangling from the side. Strangely, for an elf, she wears tennis shoes that look like they could ahve made by humans but no logo or name brand is upon them. They are white and non-sporty looking, with slight silver and black patterns upon them. Around her neck she also wears a silver chain.
Personality: She's well-tempered, and rather not too rash in her thinking. Not very airy or bubbly, she looks at all possibilities and doesn't leave any far-fetched conclusion out of sight. She's rather friendly once you know her, but she's soft spoken at first. Not shy, she just speaks quietly. She's very determined at what she puts her mind to, and rarely does anyone deture her path from it.
Relationships: Her entire Elven family heritage is unknown, her parents were killed by demons, and for some reason their was a secret in her family so she never knew anyone else related to her, or actually her parents never said anything. So she assumes she has no family... other than her dead parents.
Weapons: She is familiar with magick, so thus she carries one weapon. It is a spear-like weapon, which has a long silver, rod-like handle which is as tall as she is from toes to chest level. At the end of the handle is a strange cresent-moon jewel which is light blue in color, and seems to swirl. At the top of the spear, is of course a pointed edge of metal (not silver, it's made out of very sharp diamond). Instead of being one blade shapped into a spear however, it has two other pointed edges which come out from the main spear head to form almost a trident shape, except much thicker and more eleborate markings are designed into it. Like animal carvings intwined with vines.
Magick: She was blessed by the Soul of the Forest, so her elemental energy comes from the Forest. Because of this, she is a partial healer but is still working on her healing abilities because they are far from what they could be.
Destined: Besides having wings upon her back which causes a lot of attention at this day and age, she does have another odd thing. Her right hand always seems to glow slightly- like an aura is around her hand, but it glows slightly. This 'glow' is slightly silverish blue in color, and is very odd looking if you look at it directly.
Demonica: N/A
Minions: N/A
Other:

(Around the Temple, a bit farther aways then most characters... but in the same forest as the Temple, minding own buisness... 'tracking' a Demon she sensed.)

Sylvaria Trena'lithe Mai - Half Elven/Siren - F - Destined One
****
"Rauko... lle bai riman'ala i'yestegiliath tel'ilmen, ten'gurtha soora"
Demon...you better run before the first stars of the sky, because death follows...

Sylvaria whispered, silently walking through the deer-run paths of the forest. This territory was rather unknown to her... for the borderline of the 4th Elder Elven Empire ran short of this. Of course... the Empire fell, but this time there was not a 5th to take it's place... the Demons had taken it, and Demonica now... that was issued in order.
There had been slaughterings, for few Elven folk would ever announce they would give up, for they would rather die. So the war started... a silent war that most creatures did not know of, and the Elvens fell. Those that did survived were either enslaved or used for 'other' purposes to simply make the Demonic minions happy... and it made Sylvaria sick to think of it. Her own Elven parents had died.... she alone, escaped on her own. She didn't know if others escaped...
It was odd, she had wings upon her back and she knew she was half Siren, her Elven parents had told her, for they would not hide the fact because it was plain to everyone she was not full elven. Her appearance was slightly more toned then the other Elves... a little 'bewitching' said the Elders. Elves were beautiful by nature, but Sirens were magestic and graceful by birth...
Her real parents were an Elf and a Siren, but she did not know what happened to them... they supposevily died... but how? She didn't know... she was too young. She was taken in by the Elvens... and her new parents offered to care for her. They were very kind... but now, they had been taken away. Now Sylvaria was to seek vengence for her kind, and for her family.
"Lle n'usinuva min..."
You will not escape me...

She narrowed her eyes, until suddenly, with out anywarning... a brilliant flash of white seemed to echo through the forest in less then a second, and then faded. Shaking her head slightly, Sylvaria gasped..
"Ed'Tel'Arvandorea, mani nae tanya?!"
By the heavens, what was that?!

She then took off...

(I'll be using English once she meets people, she knows the English language and many others... she speaks Elven to herself however.)
