Yes, and Nintendo had many reasons to be at the top. First was their bargain price of $100 ($70 for the day after Thanksgiving at Wal-Mart). Also, the Gamecube had, in my opinion, better games to try at the little demo stations. While Prince of Persia is an awesome game, it just doesn't have the ready-from-the-get-go feel that games like Mario Kart: Double Dash!! did.
