"Parents? I don't need them... They never cared... They were never there... Stupid, stupid dance... I'm not going..." I muttered to myself, walking alone down the corridor towards the notice board.
I read through the stuff. It was all pretty boring. Pizza for lunch. No setting classrooms on fire... "Dam... I was gonna do that aswell..." I said sarcasticly. I rolled my eyes and headed back to my dorm.
I led on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. There was nothing else i wanted to do. After lessons was so boring when Sam and Eevee wanted to be alone...
I heard crying from next door. Not a cry of a student but of a child. A small child. No. Younger. A baby?
I got up, went nextdoor and knocked. There was a faint sound of a dog barking and the same baby crying.
"Who is it?" Said who ever was in there.
"Roxanne, from next door. I heard crying and-"
"Roxanne?"
The door creaked open. Someone peered round the door. Someone i knew. No... It couldn't be...
"Alex?"
The door opened fully and I hugged her. I couldn't believe it! I thought she was gone for good.
"Alex... What happened? Are you alright?"
She said nothing but lead me inside over to a cradle.
Inside was a small baby, screaming for attention from her mother.
"You can hold her if you want..."
I picked her up gently and cradled her in my arms. I was used to this, my own baby brother is only 18 months old.
"What happened, Alex?"

I've looked through this RPG and it looks really interesting! I know it says no LSU's, but since some other people have kinda stopped playing, do you think I could join? I really like Totally Spies, and even though this isn't exactly like the show, it still looks pretty good.

PERSONALITY: She is tough but can be a good friend. She is also very charitable to little kids and the needy. Overall, she is a good candidate to be an agent.
COLOUR OF CATSUIT: dark purple with black streaks on the sides
WEAPON OH CHOICE: she has special mines that look like every day items but explode when someone gets close because they are heat sensitive. For example, a girl who loves lipstick might be injured by one of Chi's mines.

I was thinking about the email I'd recieved from a man named Jerry yesterday. I was on my way to the spy training, and I was really late. Being a spy always sounded cool, so I decided to give it a try. When I reached the habour, the main boat had already left. So, I had to take a personal boat someone else owned. In what felt like no time at all, I was at the spy school.

I walked up to the front desk and recieved a bunch of items to help with the training. I looked at the lady at the counter and awaited my dorm assignment.

i was walking against the forest, when i heard an explosion.
"fireworks!"
"meow."
"what do you mean taz?"
"meow!"
"it looked like fireworks, not an explosion." i walked up to someone(Jerry) to ask for directions.
"er sir? where is WHOOP?"
"you're here."
"um... okay, have you seen this guy?" i showed him a picture of shruiken.
"yes, i can give you a room right next to him, but you must pass this test." cyborgs came out of the bushes. i took out my calling gun, and aimed a their power chips.
"impressive."
"meow."
"i know about cyborgs."
"right this way"
"taz! we're going to see shruiken!" taz was asleep. appearantly, the "fireworks" was an explosion, and it knocked shruiken away from the balst, or he was turned into ash.now i owe taz money.i put my stuff in the room next to his, and let taz out. he roamed downstairs, while i slept.

we heard some noise from outside and walked to the window. there seemed to be some new people roming the school grounds.
"so that's why jerry's having a parent night." i said. sam looked at me with a questioning "hmmm?"
"new recruits day. jerry wants all the parents to meet."
sam nodded in understandment. "i heard there were 3 recruits" he told me.
"well, let's meet them then" and we left sam's room to greet the new neighbors.

The receptionist handed me a map and pointed to my dorm. I walked through a maze of hallways and then knocked on the door. There was no answer, I opened it and looked inside. There were a few people that seemed to be having a private conversion. I waved to them quietly.

"Chi Kawamura... I'm new. I've been told i'm in this room and..." She said.
"She's sharing your room Alex. What about Hope? Will you be okay with her in here too?"
"I don't know... Probably..."
"I'll share my room. You've got Hope to look after, you don't need a roomie to wake up as well."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." I turned to Chi, "Share my room. It's right next door. Jerry won't mind..." I got up and headed toward the door. "See you later, Alex."
We left Alex alone and went in my dorm. I got in first so i could clear off her bed. It had a load of my stuff on it.
"Sorry about this... I haven't had to share this room so i kinda spread myself out a bit..."
"It's ok..."
There was a weird silence while Chi unpacked. I decided to let her get on with it so i got out my laptop again.

LOOKS:Her hair is white, and long, going down her back to her waist, she usually wears it in a realy high up pony tail or sust down. Her eyes are light chalky blue with a mixture of grey in them. She is around 5"6, most of her height coming from her long legs. Her skin is really pale, but retains it's smooth silky texture.
PERSONALITY:She is mysterious, but still loving and kind. She really shows affection towards living creatures and hates those who would harm them.

HISTORY:Abandoned at birth, she was raised by a foster family. She didn't really "bond" with thtem but they loved her and she still got along okay with them.

Miles-He is pretty small, a little less then middle for hermit crabs, he is a bit of a pale orange and his big claw is purple. His shell is painted orange, green, black, and navy blue and it looks all spray paintedy
Prima-She is a little bigger then miles. She is a darker orange color with white at the ends of her legs. Her shell is almost spray painted looking like Mile's shell but a bit thicker looking, and is red yellow and blue
other:She keeps them in a medium sized cage with a white lid, it has a peice of brown net in it for them to climb on, as well as two little clams that hold their food and water and a sponge. The gravel is blue with a little bit of pink and black.

We met this girl called Chi who was going to be sharing Roxanne's room and the four of us started talking. It was kinda strange, i wasn't exactly the most social person but I seemed to be holding out okay.
I looked at the clock, only an hour until the ball started, the parents would be showing up soon...
"Hope you guys don't mind but I'm gonna go for a little walk." I said suddenly.
"Why?" asked Eevee.
"I wanna prepare for meeting your folks later. I've gotta...you know...work on my background."
Eevee and Roxanne understood but the Chi girl looked slightly bewildered.
I kissed Eevee and told her I'd be back in 40 mins to get ready. Then I started walking around the site. Eventually stopping at the back where Eevee and i had spent some time once. I sat down against a tree and began to think up different lies to tell to Eevee's parents.
I sighed, "this ain't gonna be pretty."

"this place is...impressive,"I said plainley staring at the place. I didn't really describe my feelings, I was feeling pretty excited. Would I have my own room? Would I have a roomate? Would they like me? Would I have friends? All my thoughts welled up around me as I walked inside. I was still wondering about the e-mail I had gotten, a spy? good enough for me, I needed some alone time from the folks anyway.

Before I went to the receptionist I put down my suitcase and the tank that had Miles and Prima in it. I opened up the plastic latch in hte lid and carefully sprinkled some crab food into the little clam, I hadn't fed them since two days ago so they were running low on food. I picked up my things and went up to the receptionist.

"um hi, I'm Mimi," I said smiling nervously,"sorry I'm late, family problems, can you help me out please?"

"You can probably figure the route out by yourself."
Then I spun my chair around, propped my feet up on the desk, and continued to watch my favourite tv channel.

"Um...thanks?"I said in a confused tone, the receptionist didn't seem to notice and I turned. I was given some things, probably to help me in the spy training biz, I would have to check it out later. I felt a little awkward, juggling the suitcase, the crab tank, and a map while trying to make it to my room. I at ended up finding it was hopeless to try and continue all the way to my room like this and sat down against the wall. My crabs had shut themselves up in their shells, I wouldn't blame them, I had been jiggling their cage around alot trying to get up to my room. I put my hands behind my head, "I'm screwed," I muttered staring at the ceiling.

I was heading back to my room earlier than i had expected after deciding on a good lie to tell her parents when i saw yet another new girl. I could tell she'd had a hard time and figured I'd help.
"You need a hand?" I asked.
"Yes, thatnkyou. I'm Mimi."
"Sam. I'll be juggling your suitcase today." i said joking, picking up her suitcase. I took her map and led the way to her room. The girls were still chatting.
"Hey who's your friend?" asked Roxanne.
I put the girl's suitcase in her room and turned to the group. "This is Mimi. I was giving her a hand with her case."
"So much for not being very social," Eevee muttered.
I walked up to her and put my arms around he waist. "You know I'm a big softie really."
"You finished doing what you were doing?"
"Yep. This meeting with your folks is gonna be a breeze." I looked back up at the other girls, "so, what were ya'll talking about?"

"Sure you can! Hey, screw parties with parents. We don't need one. There's already one in here." I joked, making my way back over to my bed. Sam and Eevee looked shocked. I was confused. "What? Was it something i said?"
Alex blushed a little, "Hi..."
Chi and Mimi looked just as confused as me. I realised quickly, as though someone had just wapped me round the head.
Alex gave me a look to say 'don't tell... you promised!' so i stayed quiet.
"When did you get back?" Asked Eevee, the first to speak up.
"Today."
"Chi, Mimi, this is Alex. She got back today." I said, trying hard to smile.

IC: we all stood there uncomfortably for a few minutes, untill jerry over the loudspeaker announced that the parents were arriving soon and we should head to the main building.
i found out that knowone except me and sam were planning to go to the parents night.
"screw this. i'll just call my parents and tell them to meet me at the dorm." i said. it seemed like everyone was an orphan around me!
after i made a quick call, i heard some crying coming from alex's room. all of us turned to look.

Alex went red and we all realised what was going on.
"Alex why didn't you tell us?" asked Eevee.
Alex didn't seem able to form any words.
"Hey don't worry about it okay? I'll go sort her out. Eevee you mind giving me a hand? I don't know what I'm like with kids."
Eevee nodded nad we headed into Alex's room to try and calm the baby down. We'd finally managed to get her to doze off when the door to the room opened. Eevee and I turned around expecting to see Roxanne or Alex standing there but no, it was two adults.
"Mum!? Dad!?" gasped Eevee.
I looked at Eevee, "these are your parents?"
She nodded.
I looked up at them, down at the sleeping baby in my arms and then back up at Eevee's parents. "Errr......we can explain...."
What a great first impression(!)

Inside the room, I met four other girls and one boy. First there was Roxanne and Alex. Alex seemed to be hiding something, but I didn't question her. Roxanne was the girl to be my roommate. Another girl, Eevee, appeared to be going out with the boy, Sam. Sam left the room mementarily, but then came back with a girl with long white hair, named Mimi. All the other girls and Sam looked like they already had their friendships and reputations established and they didn't want anyone (like me) butting in, but Mimi seemed to be new, too. I would definitely be talking to her in the future.

Rox took me to her room, and cleared off the unused bed. I began to sort through the spy gear I had recieved and unpack my suitcase. Roxanne started typing on her laptop, but then shortly closed down and went back into Eevee's room. After she left, I went into the bathroom to change into my spy dark purple catsuit.

When I came out, Mimi was peeking into our room. It seemed like she didn't want to interfere with Alex and the others, either. "You can share a room with us, there's only me and Roxanne. There's an extra bed over there," I said shyly. She walked in casually, and I saw she was carrying her suitcase and a cage. She set the cage on the table and put her suitcase on her bed.

I peered at the cage, but all I could see were two brightly coloured shells. "What are they?" I asked her quizzically.

"Hermit crabs," she answered. Mimi gently opened the cage and took out the one with more orange and green on its shell. "Oh, by the way, thanks for....inviting me," she said. Then she put the hermit crab on my hand. "This is little Miles. The other one is the female, Prima. Here, you can hold him."

At first, Miles's shell was cold and smooth. Then he popped out of his shell and his legs prickled against me hand. The sensation tickled but felt good, but it suprised me so much I gave a cry of suprise and then almost dropped him, but caught myself in time. I looked over to Mimi for assistance, but she was busy unpacking her suitcase.

I was really relieved when the one girl, Chi, had kindof "accepted" me. I had felt a little bit of an outsider this whole time, because everyone already seemed like they had bonded. I felt alot better that I had founs someone I could connect with, or at least from what I knew so far. I hoped that the other girl, Roxanne didn't mind me bunking here, I just felt really good not having to be alone, I always felt a little scared when I didn't have someone to rely on. I had put my suitcase onto the bed followed by Prima and Mile's tank when Chi piped up,"What are they?" She asked.

"Hermit crabs,"I said opening the top and gently picking up Miles, rubbing him softly to reassure him that he was safe,"Oh, by the way, thanks for...inviting me," I said blushing slightly. I walked over to her and held out Miles cautiosley, "This is little Miles. The other one is the female, Prima. Here, you can hold him." I carefully propped him on her outstrecthed hand and turned to my suitcase again to finish unpacking. Chi gave a silent peep in surprise of the new reaction to Miles, everyone acted differantly when meeting hermit crabs for the first time, it was kindof funny to see everyone's differant reaction.

I turned and laughed, Chi was looking with a expression of helplessness and surprise at me. I walked over and showed her how you had to keep your hand flat so they wouldn't have any extra skinto pinch when they climbed around, hermit crabs loved to climb. I laughed again, "okay let me put him back in his tank." I took him and placed him back in the tank and he quickly crawled over to Prima like he was telling her about the whole experience.

"I guess I should change too," I said looking at Chi who had her suit on.

"Well I am not sure if you have to,"She said looking down at her suit.

"Well if we don't have to then I guess we will both stick out together," I said laughing and going to the bathroom to change, my mind finally felt happy and I felt like someone really accepted me for once...

I went back to my room. Or our room. Chi seemed nice, so did Mimi. But i didn't expect Mimi to be unpacked too.
They were both in their catsuits. I laughed. "You don't need to wear them all the time!"
They both blushed. Had i offended them? "We didn't know..." Said Mimi.
"No worries. They're only for lessons. You didn't know..." I looked at the time. "Ahhh... The parents are arriving... You guys coming down?"
"Yeah... Which way is it to the reception again?" Asked Chi.
"Follow me..."

i ran over and hugged my parents. they seemed happy to see me, thu still confused about the situation.
"mom, dad, this is sam." i introduced "my boyfriend" i said quieter.
"a boyfriend, oh your getting so grown up, eevee!" my mom fussed.
"you seem much to young to be dating already." added my father. what would he say when he saw we were sleeping together? you might as well shoot me now...
i began to introduce them to my friends.

Sighing, I put Alec's baby back into her cot and followed Eevee and her parents downstairs to find Roxanne, Chi and Mimi.
I pulled Eevee ahead a bit so we could talk without her parents overhearing.
"That was embarrasing," I muttered.
"Yeah..."
"So I guess it's just your dad I've gotta impress. Your mom don't seem to have a problem with us."
"Seems so."
"We should probably get them to our room pretty quickly. The sooner the better right?"
"Who's nervous now?"
"Hey, anyhing that means I can't be with you mkes me nervous. Don't hold it against me."

We got down to reception. I smiled. Stood at the desk was a woman with deep red hair, a long black coat, a lot of bags and a small boy who was kicking and screaming.
"Oh Harry! Stop being a horrible little monster!" I called.
They both turned. Harry began wriggling to get free, Mom put him down and he ran over, holding his hands in the air to be picked up.
"Rooooxaaaaa!" He screamed.
I picked him up and hugged him. I used to get really annoyed at him, but now i don't see him that often it's great to see him again.
"Roxanne... You... Left so suddenly... I was worried..." Mom said, hugging me.
"I did leave a note. And it's not like i ran away."
"But it seemed like it at the time."
We stood in silence while Harry continued to head butt me as a sign of apprecation. Mom laughed. It was great to see her smiling again. That stupid drunk bastard of a Dad was gone forever. He had his "girlfriend" to get angry at and beat the lights out of...
"Ahhh... So this is your mom, Roxanne." Said Sam as he lead Eevee and what must of been Eevee's parents.
"Um... Yeah..." I said, putting down Harry who started stomping around in fustration because i wasn't paying any attention to him.
"Hi." Said Mom.
"Mom, this is Sam and Eevee. Over there is Chi and Mimi." I said, glancing over to where the receptionist was.
... Oh no... This wasn't happening... Not now...
I man with jet black, spiked up hair appeared at reception. He dug into his light brown coat pocket and pulled out a letter. The receptionist looked at it and pointed toward me, Harry and Mom.
I gave Harry back to Mom as the man walked over, arms outstretched ready to hug. I stood there. I didn't move. I just glared.
"Roxanne! Sweet heart! I missed you so much!" He hugged me. I took a deep breath and sighed. He smelt of beer. He'd been drinking again. I hated him so much.
"Dad..." I mumbled, pushing him away.
"Grace. How nice to see you again." He said, addressing Mom and smiling a little.
"What ever..." I said under my breath.
"And Harry! He has grown!" He said, bending down to pick him up.
I stepped in front of Harry, getting inbetween him and Dad. Dad got up slowly and came level with my eyes. "You touch him and I'll-"
"You'll do what, Roxanne? Go crying to your room? Phone the police?"
"Roxanne... Don't..." Mom warned.
"Yeah. I will. I will phone the police." I nearly yelled, walking to the reception desk and picking up the phone.
Harry clung to the nearest person's legs, which happened to be Sam's. I would of laughed if Dad hadn't followed me and was desperatly trying to get me to drop the phone.
I pushed him. I kept pushing him away but he always came back. He grabbed my hair and pulled. I screamed, typing 911 on the phone. He went too far. He punched me, just like he did to Mom. I tripped, letting go of the phone and landed on the cold floor, putting my hand to my cheek where he struck me.
He slammed down the phone, took in a few deep breaths and calmed down. "Honey... I didn't mean to-" He said, approaching me again.
"Get away from me!" I screamed, backing away.
"But i just-"
"Sir" Said the receptionist, "I have to ask you to leave."
He stormed out without a fuss. I felt a tear run slowly down my cheek; it stung. People came running to help me. I got up and ran back up to my room. I heard Harry wailing and screaming "Dadda hurt Roxaaaa!" before trying to block out everything around me and crying into my pillow.

Eevee looked at me and I sighed. "Alright, I'll go."
Shaking my head I walked upstairs to where Roxanne's room was. I still didn't see why I had to do this. maybe cuz both our Dad's are a**holes? Well i should try something. She IS my friend after all.
I walked in without knocking and saw her crying into her pillow.
"Roxanne?"
She looked up at me and I sat down beside her.
"I'm sorry you have to see me like this..." she sobbed.
"hey, I'm your friend right? It doesn't bother me."
"I hate him so much!"
"I know how you feel..." I sighed and put my arm around her comfortingly. So this is sensative Sam? Oh well i guess it ain't all bad. "I could...you know...'deal with him'...if you wanted me to..." i tried to say it kinda jokingly to try and cheer her up. But really, i hadn't got a clue.

"You have no idea... He does something. He says he's sorry. He leaves. We don't hear from him. Then he suddenly comes back. All sorry again. But then the cycle starts again..." I said, grabbing my pillow and hugging it. "But sometimes people get in the way. Sometimes Mom. Sometimes friends. Sometimes family. The way he looked at Harry..."
"Harry's his son and... Wait... I can't really say that myself, can I?" Said Sam. "And you're his daughter. I'm sure he didn't-"
"I was an accident! He told me! He was having fun with Mom one night and bam! There i was! He married her out of guilt... But by the time Harry came along... He loved her then. Out of force, probably..."
I sighed. We sat their in silence. Ahh... The silence that always seems to change the subject. Not this time.
"Wow... I never thought some one elses' dad could be nearly as bad as mine..." Muttered Sam, staring down at the floor.
"Yours is locked up. Mine isn't and always comes back... He knows i'm here now and he won't stop visiting... He's so predictable..."
"I still hold that offer of 'dealing with him' if you want it." I smiled. I smiled back, laughing and hitting him jokingly with my pillow.

"Hey! Come on that's starting to hurt!" I joked, I just didn't want to get hit by the pillow anymore. At least this was cheering her up a bit. "Look, we're all here for you. If that b*stard starts coming around again we'll stand by you. That's what we're here for."
She hugged. "Thanks."
I got up and walked over to the window. This conversation had gone me thinking. I was remembering stuff again...bad stuff.
"You okay?"
I shook my head, "This whole thing got me thinking about tones of stuff. Stuff I really don't wanna be thinking about."
"You wanna talk about it?"
"Well...yeah...kinda-now's not a very good time."
"Come on. It'll make me feel better."
I sighed and muttered under my breath, "why'd you make me do this Eevee? Why?" I leant back against the wall and stared down at my feet. "I never told anyone this before but...I'm not completely human."
Roxanne looked at me strangely. "And what does that mean?"
"Well...it's kinda hard to explain...but I wasn't exactly 'born'. I was more 'made'."
"Okay now you're scaring me."
"I think it's scary too but it's the truth. My dad built me from his sperm and my mom's egg and tones of other creepy sh1t. He messed me up from day one especially when he put that damn chip into my head! Life sucked for me because everyone treated me different. It's like the knew, i didn't even know. One day I got in a fight and beat the cr@p outta some kid and got myself expelled. Turned out my dad had connected the chip up to an emotional part of my brain and if I got upset enough it would 'kick-in'. My dad decided to 'home school me' which was completely different to what he meant. He abused me for years and he got other people to do it as well! Just to do some tests on some stupid chip! And it wasn't just physical there was some...other stuff involved. He 'taught' mom not ask him about why I kept coming home looking like I'd been dragged through a war field but she did try to get me to tell her. i wanted too, but i was scared. i didn't understand anything. My dad found out though, he hired someone and one day when me and my mom were outside someone shot her. I always knew my dad was behind it but I didn't see him to get back at him. One day though, I saw him in this public place. I thought about everything he'd ever done to me, what he'd done to mom and I just snapped. I killed all of those people and then...I just blacked out. i spent years running from people, trying to find out what happened but now I know, I remember everything...and I don't know what to do...I know I have to tell Eevee but how can I tell her that?" I slid down onto the floor. "Why Roxanne? Why does it have to be like this?"

wow. i have to get on more often. the play i'm in will be over by sunday, so i'll be on more.
IC: bad bad bad. this was not going well. at this rate my parents would really flip if-
"Eevee, could we see your room?" my mom said.
oh sh1t.
"um, sure.. but let me check on roxanne first, she seems like she needs some cheering up." i said quickly, and left them. they walked over to other parents and started chatting.
i ran to the dorms, and to roxanne's room. she looked better, but sam looked a little pale.
they seemed to be just finishing up a conversation because all i heard was, "don't tell eevee, ok? i wouldn't want to scare her."
"don't tell eevee what?" i said walking into the room. they both turned, suprised to see me. i guess they hadn't heard me walk in.

I heard alot of talking next door and hope and meg was asleep so I picked up hope and went next door.Eevee,sam and Roxanne were in there and they looked really tense,All of a sudden Roxanne walked over and pushed out the door saying "they need to talk"

I looked back down at the floor. "Stuff..."
"Is this amnesia stuff?" I asked.
Roxanne left the room and I got up.
"Please tell me," said Eevee, grabbing my hand.
I sighed and looked back at her before explaining everything. But to tell the truth, I was really scared about how she was going to take this.

I sighed. I would have loved to be sat in my room right now, listening to the radio and stuff. I hope that they don't argue. Sam's past is all twisted up and he didn't want to tell her everything all at once. Okay... He didn't say that but i bet that's it.
I went back to reception to find Mom. She didn't want to be stood there with a screaming little kid and worring about me.
"Rox! You're all right!" Mom said, running over and hugging me.
"Yeah... Where's Harry?"
"Don't worry, he's asleep. You should be worried about yourself, not Harry. He wouldn't dare touch Harry..."
"That's what he used to say to you about me. He lied, Mom. Don't go running back to him now!"
She nodded and ran her fingers through my hair, "He had no right to do that... And look! Your cheek and eye is all bruised! You're coming home with-"
"No. I'm staying here."
"But-"
"No! Everyone treats me like their slave back home! They make me do their homework, they steal my money and blame stuff on me! It's different here; people acctually like me for who I am and not just because i'm smart." I protested.
"I was hoping you'd say that." Said Jerry, coming up behind.
"If you're sure, Rox. He knows where you are and-" Mom began.
"She can look after herself. She's shown that on many occasions." Jerry interupted.
I blushed. Oh no... The same colour as my hair again... It's so annoying when that happens ><

IC:We stared at eachother for awhile. after tellin me his story, sam wouldn't look me in the eye. i took a deep breath, nothing he had said had transfered in my mind yet.
I slowly kissed him on the lips, then put my arms around him. sam still wasn't budging, so i burried my my head in his chest and rocked back and forth.
"do you think i care, sam?" i said quitly. "you told me you had that chip in your head, and i still stuck. what would a few more details mean."

I smiled and put my arms around her. "Thanks Eevee, you don't know how much that means to me." We just stayed there in silence before I finally said something. "That's the first time you've kissed me."
"No it's not."
"On the lips, it is."
"I had to do it sooner or later."
I laughed quietly. "Eevee, you're amazing."
She laughed too and we parted. "Oh, my parents wanna see our room."
"Let's get it over with then. You go get them. I'm going to splash some water on my face."
We both headed out and I went into the bathroom quickly. I looked in the mirror after splashing my face a few times and sighed. "Here goes nothing."
