BATTLE

Adel starts of by protecting herself by a spinning aurora surrounding her to stop any of Loki's attacks but unfortunately instead of attacking,Loki makes several images of himself to distract Adel.

Adel looking to find the real Loki furiously blasts a long stream of fire at him.But the attack doesn't hit the real Loki and therefore misses him.Loki produces a blast of crystalline ice shards which emanates in a wide cone in the Adel's direction hitting her hardly.

After that cold and unlikley experience,Adel decides to try again and fire another blast of fire at Loki but this time it catches him and drags him on the ground.Quickly getting up Loki produces a freezing cold white beam at Adel hitting him hardly sending him about 3 inches back.

I was just wondering how a flamethrower that has normal effectiveness and the same base power as Ice beam did only 5% damage less than a blizzard, and ice beam, both of which are super effective against Dragonair?

Heres my reref,

Intro

two trainers, DarkDragonite and Syberia meet at Indigo Stadium. They release their pokemon. Syberia has chosen a long dragon pokemon named Adel who is a female Dragonair, DarkDragonite has chosen a pokemon with a big tounge named Loki who is a male Lickitung. The battle can begin now.

Adel the Female Dragonair Health: 100% ready to go

Loki, the Male Lickitung Health: 100% ready to go

Attacks

Adel: Safeguard ~ Flamethrower x2

Loki: Double Team ~ Blizzard ~ Ice Beam


Round 1

Adel starts by surronding herself with a spinning aurora of lights. This protects her from any status affecting moves Loki might use. Adel smirks with her new found defense, but all the sudden looks stunned as there are now 3 Lickitung instead of 1. Loki now has the advantage.

Adel doesn't know which one to attack, so she just charges up a blast of fire and sends it at Loki, hoping to hit. The attack has some sucess as Loki has lost his 2 clones, but the really Loki is unharmed. Loki, who had been getting ready to use Blizzard, releases the attack as Adel attempts to dodge, but still gets hit by the majority of ice shards.

Adel once again uses fire against Loki, using Flamethrower hoping to hit this time and her attack is succesful and Loki is hit. But Loki retailates with a another ice attack, this time a cold beam which makes Adel even colder, but lucky for the Dragonair she had the Safeguard up, which stops her from being frozen. Round 1 of this battle ends with Loki on the offensive.

As soon as he creates his clones, flood everything with your own Surf. Hopefully that will get them all. Use Supersonic when he tries to Screech, and finish with a Thunder Wave.

Round 2

Loki decides to use a defensive tactic, he all the sudden splits into 3 Lickitung. Now Loki is smiling and turns to look at Adel, except Adel isn't there. Loki doesn't know what is going on and all the sudden a giant wave of water rises from the lake in the arena. And riding that wave is Adel. The wave crashes down on Loki and all his clones are destroyed. Loki is left cloneless and soaked.



Now Loki wants to get revenge and decides to try to hurt Adel's hearing by making the loudest, most irrating Screeh imaginable, trying to break Adel's concentration,and everyone hears the piercing sound, but at the same time Adel is making a similar annoying hum, and is trying to mess up Loki's hearing. And with the 2 sounds mixing, it creates a horrible, and unbearable sound. The fans might want a refund after this.


In the next set of actions, the trainer give their commands, but after the Screech and Supersonic attacks, neither pokemon can hear anything at all. So nothing happens in this set of actions. Round 2 ends with Adel makeing up some ground since she hit with Surf.

Round 3

Adel smirks when she hears her next attack plan. With Loki soaked from the Surf attack the previous round, Adel's trainer wants to use Thunder to take advantage of that since water conducts electricity. Adel charges up the wide cone of electric power and releases it from the sky and it hits and shocks Loki, but something strange happens. Loki all the sudden vanishes into thin air and is gone. Adel doesn't understand what is happening. She looks and sees the real Loki who is smiling and unharmed thanks to his clone, which absorbed the attack.



Adel gets mad and wants to hit the real Loki. She again starts to charge the powerful electric cone of energy, but while at the same time, Loki is charging his own powerful attack, which is in the form of crystal ice shards. Adel is the first one to strike, as her attack comes down from the sky and hits and shocks Loki who yelps in pain from the attack, which is stronger due to Loki still being wet. Loki though still has his attack to release, as he sends the crystal ice shards at Adel as the shards cut and scratch Adel. And it doesn't help her that she is a dragon-type getting hit with one of the strongest ice attack around.



Adel again sticks to her game plan of using electricty against Loki as she charges up the Thunder attack and release it, hitting Loki, but Loki doesn't look hurt or upset after getting hit. Infact, he is looking lovingly at Adel. Loki then starts flexing his muscles at Adel, and she is in love with him. Adel is thinking" I didn't realize how attractive that Lickitung is." Hearts appear in Adel's eyes as she is infactuated with Loki. Loki however doesn't have the total advantage, since he is feeling the effects of 2 straight Thunder attacks as Round 3 comes to a close.

I want you to cool him off a bit with a Rain Dance first, try to get those clones out of the way. Then just take all your happiness and infatuation and Return it right back at him. As the saying goes, "all's fair in love and war," and it looks like both of those situations apply here. Then, if you feel up to it, try a Dragon Rage! Hopefully him attacking you will dispel any last thoughts that he might actually like you.

Round 4

With Adel already in love with him, Loki trys to further protect himself by forming clones of himself to throw her off. Adel though isn't thinking of attacking Loki." Loki looks hot" Adel is thinking" I will cool him off". She then beckons to the sky and clouds appear in the sky as a steady rain begins to fall. This causes Loki's clones to disappear and he looks upset." I hope I didn't do anything wrong" Adel worries. Adel's protective Safeguard has vanished, but all she is thinking about is Loki.


Loki all the sudden emits a horrible sound as he is screeching loudly. " Thats sweet of him, he is singing a song for me" Though he doesn't have much of a singing voice" Adel thinks. As a result the dragon-pokemon is losing concentration. Though she does manage to walk up to Loki and Return the favor by wraping itself around Loki and squeezing him lovingly. Loki is gasping for air after being squeezed from the Dragonair.

Loki now wants to freeze Adel and starts to charge crystal shards until Loki suddenly cringes. Due to previous attacks, Loki is paralyzed and as a result of it Loki can't move." Wait a minute, he was going to attack me, Im starting to get sick of him" Adel thinks. She starts to form dragon energy and get payback on Loki until she feels pain inside her head and cannot complete the attack. Her concentration was messed up from the Screech attack. The rain continues to fall as Round 4 ends.

Round 5

With the rain coming down, and a well sized lake to work with, Adel jumps into the lake and she comes out riding on a wave ready to crash it down onto Loki until a red glow enveoples(sp) Adel. She can't move and inch. The wave stops and the lake becomes calm again. Loki was mentally stoping Adel from using the attack.

Adel trys the same tactic again, this time with the wave as high as possible until Loki starts making a irratable sound, ruining the concentration of Adel, and causing her to retreat. Unfornately for Loki. The wave has to come down, and most of it falls on Loki anyway.


Loki's attack does stop Adel this round as she can't gather her thoughts to use her planned attack. Loki takes advantage by powering up a bunch of cystaline shards and hitting Adel with most of them, making the dragon-pokemon shiver. Loki has gained some ground health-wise as Round 5 ends with the rain still falling.

Loki, we're going to sit back, and await a hint of our opponent's plan this round, so Icebeam X3, unless the rain goes away, and Adel makes clones, then Blizzard them, if it tries to toxic you, just Disable it.

Let's use a Supersonic to add to his misery, then unleash a Deathblow upon your foe. That is, a devastating combo of Agility and Horn Drill, smashing into (in Lickitung's case) his soft underbelly with your sharp, spinning horn at high velocities.

Round 6

In the swirling rain, Loki charges up a frigid beam of ice, and blasts in right at Adel, trying to use type advantage, Adel takes the hit and is in pain. She isn't that upset though, because with her plan to disorient Loki by making a extremely annoying sound wave, she cansacrifice the health, and it suceeds when the sound wave reaches Loki. Hei is covering his ears and has trouble hearing and concentrating.



With a decreased concentration, Loki manages a smaller Ice Beam, but his efforts are in vein as the attack does nothing because Adel is off moving with increible speed and evades the attack. She starts at Loki as she starts to lower her horn and get ready for a big attack with Loki not totally back to normal now.


Loki sees a big blur moving at him at record speed, ready to try to finish him with one attack. Loki has gotten back his concentration, but a little late as Adel is right near Loki. Loki fires off a quick Ice Beam, that slows down Adel a bit, but the dragonair won't stop and her horn plows right into the heart of Lickitung each second of the attack filled with a horrible pain unimagable to anybody who hasn't experinced it. Loki is able to get away but not after a big loss of health as Round 6 ends.

Loki, the male Lickitung Health: 15% health, bruised, paralyzed (may not be able to attack)

Adel, the female Dragonair Health: 20% health, Rain dance up( 2 more actions)

Finish him off, Adel. As many Fire Blasts as it takes!

Loki, after an agility, horn drill, and now attempting fireblasts, Adel has got to be tired, and sluggish, so let's take advantage of this, Disable Adel, then power up, and fire a Blizzard, the rain should also help weaken your foe, and power up your ice attack!! If Adel still stands, fire off a quick Ice beam.

Round 7

With both pokemon tired after an exciting last round, someone might go down now. Adel starts forming a letter of fire, which is weakened by the onging rain, but Adel doesn't get the attack off, as she is surounded by a red glow and can not move, so no damage yet.


Adel again starts powering up the letter of fire, trying to deal damage to Loki, while Loki is powering up his own attack, alot of cyrstaline shards. Adel is the first to attack, getting off the weakened Fire Blast, which deals decreased damage. Then all the sudden Loki releases his attack, as the flurry of ice hits Adel, doing alot of damage, but not knocking Adel out. The Rain stops falling now.


Loki trys to get one more quick attack in, but the paralyis(sp) finally gets to Loki, as he can't move a muscle and awaits his certain fate. With no more rain, Adel charges up one more Fire Blast and releases it full force at Loki, causing the Lickitung to fall to the ground K'Oed!


Post-Battle Stats

Adel the female Dragonair Health: 5%, tired

Loki, the male Lickitung, 0% Health, KO'ed

Ok, I have a 2 complaints here:

1) How a fatigued pokemon can pull off an agility, horn drill, then 3 fire blasts in the rain, and sustain a blizzard attack.

2)How at 20% health, a Blizzard attack, if even not powered up by rain, should do 2X damage, which would be 24%, this one did 19%, why?

1) Adel didn't complete the first Fire Blast because of Disable, and the last Fire Blast was when the Rain had cleared up on the thrid action.

2) Also it is hard for a bruised,paralyzed pokemon, to pull of a strong enough Blizzard to knock Adel out.
