    Default Box Trick in RS?

Hey! Can the box trick be used in RS too, like in GS? O.o

Depends on what you mean by "box trick":

    1) There's the so-called "box trick" which recalculates stats whenever a Pokémon is deposited and withdrawn from the PC. This has been present in every game since RBY, and still is in RS.

    2) Then there's a duplication code in GS which involves turning off the game during the last part of the "SAVING... DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER" message, which can result in duplicated Pokémon and item. This, however, does not exist in RS.

    Woah, woah, woah.....

Stat recalulation? What does that mean? What does it do? Anything significant or just (relativly) meaningless?

Stat Recalculation: To the best of my knowledge, as you gain effort points. Putting a Pokemon into a box allows the stats to recalculate immediately, and any stat gains will be automaically reflected.

The box trick works until your pokemon reaches level 100 i.e. you could use it on level 50 pokemon for the battle tower.
Dignity (n): the time elapsed between passing an attractive girl and turning around for another look.

The box trick still works at level 100. It will always do so unless Game Freak decides to completely change the data structure for an individual pokemon.

Why it will always work: A pokemon's stored data does not include the final values that the player sees when they look at the stat screen. It includes the values used to calculate those numbers: The base stats, level, DVs/IVs, and EVs/stat exp. When a pokemon is pulled out of storage (and therefore into active memory) the final stat values must be generated from those stored values. If the Evs/stat exp. have increased sufficiently since the last time those values were generated (either the last time the pokemon was withdrawn from storage or gained a level), then the final stat values will be increased.

Why it will not work: If a pokemon has already had their EVs/stat exp maxed out, or if they have gained a sufficient amount of EVs/stat exp since the last time the final stat values were generated. In these cases, there will be no changes in stats.

No, it does not work at level 100. Some time ago, I raised a Gardevoir to level 100 with 0 stat exp (i.e. via rare candies) to test the box trick. After battling 20 Spinda, I found no difference in its special attack after boxing it.

It worked in G/S/C with my Celebi. It was on level 100 and had a few points to go to reach max in all its stats; therefore, I battled a lot, deposited it, and noticed that all its stats were maxed out. (Yes, I sharked the damn thing, but I trained it from level 0)
