hey all, i just got pokerus. Yay - i think. is this the thing which gives you douible evs for all the battles you fight?

in which case wot would u advise that i do in order to reep the benefits of it before it goes away?

Yay, lucky you. Yes I have pokerus too and it does double your evs, the effect lasts forever but you cant spread it to other pokemon after four days of infection.

I suggest you infect a pokemon and leave it in your PC. When you put it in the PC the four days are restored and dont count down as long as it's in the PC. That way you can withdraw it later, infect another pokemon, and then put it back in the PC.

Give an infected pokemon the Macho Brace and you'll gain x4 the normal amount of evs!

so does that mean that even if they lose the virus (after the four days), the effects of the virus remain? also can you trade pokemon with the virus?

The virus never goes away, it just stops being contagious. And yes, you can trade Pokérus-ed pokémon, so you can infect all your friends!

Does that mean that pokémon marked with the black dot in their stat screen still receive double EV's?
I thought after the virus stopped being contagious it no longer had any effect... I might have to go and re-check my EV counts...
