Sharked PKMN

I haven't got a gameshark but i was thinking of borrowing my friend's to get some of the unobtainables. On pokemon colosseum would i be able to use pokemon obtained using a shark? wot are the factors which prevent pokemon from being used? one earlier post says things like maxed stats prevent it - does that mean if u give your pokemon max EVs it won't work?

any answers would be great, thanx.

Probably, as long as you kept the moves to ones the pokemon could really have.

if they like 999 stats it may not come up as 999 stats
but if you have max iv it will work
