1. Do normal type Pokémon receive a 1.5 same type attack bonus when they use a normal type move?

2. Do dual types get only 1.25 same type attack bonus?

3. What happens when Vigoroth uses rest?

That's it for now. It'd be cool if someone could provide me with some answers.

1. Yes, they do.

2 .No, they receive a bonus of 1.5 for both of their types.

3. I haven`t tried it, but if its ability stops it from sleeping then it can`t use rest I think.

So it's different to Gold/Silver/Crystal, or is that a mistake in the Virgo GSC guide?

If you mean question 1 or 2 then yes it must have been a mistake in your guide.

Yeah, Vigoroth can learn Rest but it does nothing when he uses it. Kinda like Splash. And most guides made mistakes about questions 1 and 2 for GSC. But Corasonn was indeed right.

4. Nope, and the Effort Points aren't 'lost' you just haven't earned them yet
You can earn them before, during, or after, it doesn't make a difference to the final stats.
