It was a sunny day as usual; I was seriously beginning to doubt that it even rains here in Olivine. I was beginning to doubt if it even rained at all..
I got out of bed and put some clothes on. I was really bored with summer, I hadn’t done anything exciting since the start and by looks of it, and I don’t think I will. Cuviel my Ninetales was as usual positioned right about my pants refusing to move.
“Girl! Move; come on now I need my pants”
“ niiiiiiine.”
And with that she left my room, giving me access to my pants. After I was dressed I headed down to breakfast. I had to make breakfast as usual, dad was at the gym and mom well mom’s gone. A nice bowl of cereal for me and some pokeblocks for my Pokemon, yet something still bothered me. Ever since that vision that Rilmawen (espeon) had she hasn’t been eating at all. It just worried me.
Since it was just another boring day in Olivine city I thought I’d get the mail. I let Rilmawen, Cuviel and the rest of my Pokemon out of their balls and set them to play around in the backyard. Still that same I thought. In one corner of the yard sat Rilmawen all alone, while on the other side of the yard the rest of my Pokemon played around. I was really beginning to worry about her.
I thought she could use some sympathy and I went to sit beside her while opened the male occasionally petting her.
“Hmm.. What’s this?” I was staring at the last letter from the batch. It was completely ordinary, and it had no return address, it was just blank. On the front It was addressed to “Cereal.” But that’s impossible I though, the only people that knew that that was my name we’re my dad, Willow and my mom. As I was beginning to open it, Rilmawen gave me a big smile, licked me on the cheek and ran to play with the other Pokemon.
As I read I couldn’t believe my eyes. This letter had finally confirmed my theory that we are in a machine. I read further into the letter. It had information about the machine, what type it was, how it harnesses human energy and Pokemon elemental energy. At the very end of the letter in the last paragraph was a prophecy. It said that the Olivine lighthouse would go out. I was curious to see if it was true. I’m sure it was.
In a surge of happiness I returned all my Pokemon into their balls, except for Cuviel and Rilmawen of course, I don’t think I even have pokeballs for them, and I ran out of the house to tell Willow that I was right about the Pokematrix.
Exactly 2 blocks away from my house I made a head on collision with someone. As I staggered off the ground I was trying to make out who it was. It was willow and there in her left hand she held that same letter.
“Do you think its tru…” I began, but before I could finish we we’re plunged into darkness. The whole of Olivine was…
