I must admit that I do admire EA's gall to go and redo a game that is acclaimed as the best shooter ever, especially considering that all the Bond games EA have done were, for want of a better word, crap.

Personally, I hate EA; they make stupid games for stupid people. The majority of the games EA churn out are crap and sell out license alone, others by word of mouth (the Sims). The first Sims game was great, but when they churn out pathetically crap expansions that sell higher than worthy games such as Planetside, Jedi Academy and Prince of Persia, that gets my goat.

If I had my way, people would have to pass an exam before they could own a games console or a graphics card so that all the retards wouldn't be able to play EA's crap and so EA would go down the toilet.

EA just needs to stick with sports. I'll never forgive them for what they did to Simcity. I also found the SIms to be very mediocre. It got dull for me after only a few days. Not worth buying nearly 300 dollars worth of expansion sets for.

EA is why games aren't as good as they could be. Instead of the outstanding Prince or Persia or Beyond Good & Evil, people buy Sims: Barnyard Fun expnasion pack or the latest overpriced expansion to Madden (albeit, it's the only high quality EA really does).

And now Marvel has signed up with them. May God have mercy on use all.

Except football (or soccer, depending on which side of the pond you live on). Pro Evolution Soccer is the best football game out there and EA are ruining it because they signed a megabucks deal with FIFA so that only EA may use real names and licenses. This means Pro Evo sells less as it does not have the weight of the license.

The sad thing is that this bastardized version of Goldeneye will sell like hotcakes.

It's going to be a buggy mess...I have yet to see a good Bond game, much less that could compare to Goldeneye. This is doom ed to failure (well, gameplay wise).

The problem with EA is that they need to sell sell sell, and therefore they have to churn churn churn out stuff, regardless of quality. Still, give them a chnace with Goldeneye: It may not be as good as the original, but it might still be a decent game.

I'm actually waiting for Starcraft Ghost over Halo 2.

Although I wonder if we can expect Zerglings to suddenly attack in huge, annoying numbers...

I found Halo to be alright (never played PC version though, which is probably a vast improvement) and if I knew more about Ghost, I might be more excited about it.

On IGN they said EA was making a Goldeneye 2, where you played as a bad guy. Not a remake of the N64 game.

Also has anyone played the new bond game? Everything or Nothing. I heard it was pretty good.

I haven't really got anything against EA. I'll admit, they are a company that rely heavily on publicity to sell some of their games *cough*Harry Potter*cough*, but I don't think all of them are bad. There are companies out there that do a lot worse than EA...

EA have got a lot to live up to, considering Goldeneye is hailed as one of the best FPS games of all time. I hope they don't mess it up.

As for FIFA, it's my favourite footy sim. I don't like the Pro Evo games...and it's not because the teams aren't licensed. I just don't enjoy playing them. Go ahead. Chuck tomatoes at me. The decision sticks. lol
