I need some help

I know I promised that I'd leave, but I also said that maybe I would return. Well, I did return, but not forever. I came because I needed some help.

I bought a cable that I thought could make me use my Gameboy Advanced as a controller, but I didn't get what I had to do with it. Then somebody told me that the cable was to play gameboy games on the gamecube.

But still, I didn't know how to use it.

So if somebody would be kind enough to explain me how both of them work, so I can see which one it is, and use it as well.

The cable just connects the gameboy advance to the cube for certain games. Like in Wind Waker, you can have a friend use the gameboy advance as Tingle and follow you and give you items when you run out and such. It will also let you tranfer your R/S Pokemon to Pokemon Colosseum. There are other games that use it like FF CC, but it doesn't function as a controller or allow playing of Gameboy advance games.

The link cable can only be used as a controller in games suited for it. Those games are:

-Final Fantasy: The Crystal Chronicles

-The Game Boy Player (any GBA game)

I am not sure, but hope that in at least versus battle Pokemon Coleseum will allow you to use the GBA as a controller (so you can hide attack selections from your opponent).
