FF7: Advent Children

Has anyone heard anything about the new FF7 movie their making. All i know is that Cloud, Sephiroth and Vincent are going to be in it.

Wrong forum area since it's a CGI movie not an anime, also there's no plans as of yet to bring it out in English.

I personally thinks it's going to suck, from the trailer it looks so/so.

Sepiroth looks God awful, they could of at least kept his cool looking hair and his bright green eyes, but nooo..

Anime = Animation

CGI = Computer Generate Image

Animation = A series of drawn images to give off the illusion of movement.

Sounds like anime to me.

Saw a few trailers. Who wants to bet they cop-out and bring back Aeris?

Mike, this isn't the place to bring up a dislike of Aeris. I'm sure we have a hated characters thread around here somewhere.

I actually like Aeris quite a bit, and whether she was Cloud's true love or not, I have no opinion. But Aeris is a sweet and caring girl, and that makes her plenty good as far as I'm concerned.


As for Advent Children, I can't wait to see it... and Aeris will probably be cameo or flashback, like Sephiroth is.

Can anyone confirm if this has been anounced for a USA release yet? Looking forward to a good anime movie from Square for once.

I kind of wished they'd kept the anime style of the original game in the movie, though, instead of cg-ing it. Sephiroth looks really scary (well... to me he does), and he doesn't have his standing-up bangs anymore, though Cloud has metamorphosed into a bishie suddenly *happy sigh* His new costume reminds me of Auron's... oO;;
Has anyone seen the new, bishounen, CG Barret in Advent Children? Heh, heh, heh.
