Hire someone with experience. At least over half the people here are better and have been here for years waiting for the oppurtunity.

I want to go against the hiring of Eamon and go for a competition. I find that EXTREMELY unfair.

Congrats Eamon, first of all.. I don't know why they chose you, but well done. I just feel that others like Gabi and Amy, who have been here for many years and have lots of experience with this place, should have a go. Or someone who knows the artificial background of this place, of which you don't know anything about. If someone asks you a question relating to history, are you even going to be able to answer something to as little back as when I was working (which you probably don't even know)?

I would have suggested people send in worker applications like Quicksilver62160 asked for... At the time he was just working by himself, so he decided to conjure up a series of questions, including why you want to work here, how would you be an asset to the place, and just general snibbits of information. I don't see any form of worker application here, or any notification that there was going to be another worker, or any contest... You just hired someone.

I guess you had the feeling it would be okay since that's the way we always decided workers, but the time factor has immense differences from when Kyle and Mike were hired via contemplating with Danny. And I got Cheesey working here, pretty much, because I knew he had the potential to be a moderator and I felt that's the way he should start and get things going. Of course, I was the one who screwed his dream up. Glad he isn't mad, but that's beside the point.

Eamon, I'm not suggesting you leave (I kind of outbursted in the chat log that Clark posted), I want at least another person working here to make it fair, and this time I want a worker to be made a worker 'fairly'. It's breaking the traditional four workers, but you've already upset Clark, Zei, myself, and possibly many others out there not willing to speak up about it, or haven't had the chance to. :-\ It's sad to see a place poorly managed, not afraid to admit that. All the places are poorly managed one way or another... I hope to be active again. If you need pro-advice on something I'll work with you guys unofficially.

Clark and myself are going to get another AC/CC game up and going, which he has already sent in to one of the moderators. I'm upset with the way things are going here. I have suggested numerous times ways to improve the place. Rarely have they been seriously considered, and that's why this place is falling... Not because you're not willing to consider my ideas and plans for the Goldenrod Tower, but because no one is willing to suggest stuff for the tower. That's why I'm setting up a new game. I want it to be different than the Goldenrod Tower in terms of how you handle players... But it's not following the same concept.

Anyway. Whatever. In short I kind of agree with the guys above stating that you did make a wrong move in hiring Eamon in the first place, and I am unsure of why you didn't contemplate over it for more than two hours. But yeah, I'm upset that the place I loved is just splitting in half. Sad to say. I hope it doesn't stay like this and turn into BRS where you're lucky to get an update a week, and all the workers don't have enough dedication to the place to look after it... At least you guys have the updating manouver sorted.

No, I haven't had a real birthday party since I was....15, back in 2001. The best party I had was when I was 10, I invited half a dozen of my friends and we all went to the Rainforest Cafe and had a blast! The worst one was last year, I didn't even have a party and I didn't get any presents I wanted. Growing up stinks sometimes...

Jelly Beans, yay! I haven't had jelly beans in such a long time! I love the popcorn and pizza flavored ones, also watermelon and strawberry. I think I had a licorice one once, I hated that.

I don’t speak for Kyle or Chris, but I wanted someone responsible and helpful... There were other people I’d have been fine with, but the consensus seemed to be that Eamon was good.

Err... first of all... when were you a worker here? And second of all, we did consider other people, and we are quite aware that there are other people here. Third of all, isn’t it selfish of YOU to call eamon selfish and then ask to work here yourself?

Hmm... I guess having a contest or applications or stuff wouldn’t be that bad of an idea... I’ll have to talk with the other workers and see about that tho. Anyway I don’t see what the hell is the whole thing about four workers and why that’s been so important... And if you have advice for stuff I’d be glad to take it.

Actually I’ve been planning to redo a lot of the stuff here... I’ll hopefully be getting that stuff done shortly. Anyway I’d like to hear from anyone who has advice/ideas/etc. about how the GT could be improved... so far I haven’t gotten that much in the way of reasonable ideas <_<.

Well... we did contemplate over it for more than two hours... We’d been thinking about it for most of the week and had come up with Eamon as the main cantidate. And anyway, I’m sorry about the BRS being inactive, but I’ve been crushed by work for the last month or so but now I’ll be more active... I’ll start making sure to update almost every day here and at the BRS, and as soon as I can get some of the GT stuff sorted out I’ll work on rebuilding the BRS.

Personally I agree with everyone who's stated something against the hiring of Eamon- I think it was just a sloppy and not very well thought-out action. Nothing against you, Eamon, but technically all you did was throw yourself into a job you really can't handle yet. If you had been here for just a bit longer I might have accepted this a bit more but still, honestly..
I second the proposal that Eamon step down and you consider it a bit more. I know I have no authority over this, just a suggestion. I'm not asking for a contest here as I don't exactly know how it would work either.

First of all, I don't think that you should be blaming me personally for being the newest employee of the tower. Last week, when I saw that there was difficulties updating, I only said that if any help was ever needed then I'd be more than glad to lend a hand. I didn't choose to be employed, I offered my assisstance and the guys were obviously greatful for that and saw that when Mike gave up his spot, they'd take me up on that offer.

It's a clear fact that I've only been here a short time but I know what way the games work, it's not like there's a huge amount to learn. I've gotten used to the randomizer already and know how to do the other games also - and now that I've been given a good pokédex link, I should have no problem in doing the other games. I have to say though, I don't think that employee spaces should be given to people simply because they know about the history of the tower...experience at knowing what way the games work is good but you don't need much experience here to get into the swing of things and to be honest, a position shouldn't be based on someone's knowledge about the people that worked here 3 years ago and who the place was passed onto. I know for a fact that when I got my PCG mod spot I wasn't very aware of who former mods were and what caused changes etc. but that didn't stop me from doing as good a job as others.

Thirdly, I won't be giving up my spot. I'm not being selfish working here. I'm very enthusiastic towards working here and helping people. I don't intend on going against the employment of anyone else. It wouldn't bother me if more people were employed but if you say that offering a lending hand is being selfish then I don't know how you're thinking. I didn't take up the position to irritate or offend anyone. So yeah, I'm not giving up my spot here simply because people are envious towards me. I don't blame you because nearly all of you have been here longer for me but the owners obviously employed me for a reason and I'm not going to give up my spot simply because other people want it...but I'll agree with the employment of another worker if it'll keep people happy employing someone 'fairly', as you put it.

And I'm not taking part in a competition. I'm not going to compete for a position that I've earned fairly. I might have only arrived here 2 months ago but I've been as active as other members, who post here, since I joined and I've done nothing bad towards anyone. And as I already mentioned, I don't consider or see how knowing about the tower's history makes someone any better at helping to run games than me. The only way I'm leaving is if the owners ask me to.

I don't think that the owners would want to ruin the running of the place and general enjoyment of the GT - and personally I don't see how an extra worker would - but I trust their views and if they feel, in the future, that it was a bad idea and they ask me to leave, with valid reason, then I will but I won't be happy losing something I just gained and have had fun doing. It's like giving a child a new toy and then taking the toy away from him/her 2 seconds later. I'm not saying this place is my toy...just comparison.

The owners were obviously too lazy to think of another way to hire a worker so they simply hired the first person who asked. You did nothing to 'earn' that worker spot. You asked for it and they gave it to you.
Reffering to your little 'metaphor' there, what if another child wants that toy REALLY BADLY and thinks it's not fair that only you get it? Shouldn't they compete over who gets the toy or find some other fair way to decide who gets it?
I think you're missing the point here- We're not blaming you for anything, we're blaming the owners for making a mistake. I'm not saying you'd be a bad worker, Eamon, I'm just saying that they gave absolutely NOBODY else ANY consideration. That is our point.

By competition, they mean you actually trial here. So guess what, the employees could actually start this so called contest now and it wouldn't effect you either. You're the first to be trialed for a worker position. Perfect, guys.

One thing about a business, and this is coming from someone who has worked at practically every business in PCG, you do NOT treat ANY job as a toy. That is the first impression I get you aren't taking the job seriously, where you are meant to have fun, if you have too much fun, you may as well just be sitting back, relaxing, and being updated for.

I talked to Danny and another worker or two is being organized. Kyle is on thin ice by the sounds of things also.

Unfortunately it's not as hard as you think for the people here to disapprove of this and think 'Okay we're uncomfortable with Eamon working here, workers, do something about it'. If you're going to act stubborn and say you're not leaving because you're on trial to see how you perform, then you're sorely mistaken.

You are part worker, part trying out. If you do crap you're out of here quick smart. If the vast majority of people here disagree of you being hired (and right now it's 100% of the people), then you cannot continue to work here. And yes, in the end, it's the workers who decide what to do. I hope they make the right decision and do something about this, an option is firing you and after looking at your stubbornness I'm all for it.

Also, no, the tower is where things are to be discussed. This is an argument that needs to be put to the public. I'm sorry you don't approve of it and it may diminish your reputation here, but that's the way things go. Ask a moderator and 'help out', and get a business debate topic set up so it doesn't clutter up the threads.

I don't mind being on trial at all, they can sack me after 2 weeks if I'm not doing a good enough job but I still wouldn't agree with sacking me if I'm doing a good job. I still have a say, and both Danny and Cheesey come to me and talk about Goldenrod Tower stuff with me often, I feel I do have some importance by contributing to this. I've worked here for years. I don't run the place, and it doesn't matter if I sound like I am, if the workers wish to consider my/our opinions, entirely up to them.

Edit: And I forgot to say, I'm sounding knowledgable and I know what I'm talking about. There is a difference from sounding like you run the place to sounding knowledgable about the matter.

I'm closest to my mother. I talk to her about everything and I feel most comfortable with her just because I do @_@ We're close all the time, there's really no specific great time we've had.

I steer away from my uncle. He's a prick. I always feel he's plotting against me as he hasn't talked to me for one whole year, and he lives in the same house as me! I just feel very awkward living or being around him that I need to conceal myself all the time.

I'm probably closest to my mother because I tell her a lot of things and she helps me with them when I really need help. She's always a good helping hand that's watching out for me.

This is a hard question for me to answer. Currently its my cousin who just started college so i dont' get to see him much anymore. However, it was my granddad when he was alive. I don't know if he knew how much he meant to me when he was alive but i know i've missed him more than i ever though possible. He had cancer and no one knew till after he died. I son't know why i was close to my grandad, we just was. He was there ofr me whenever i needed him, and i dodn't think he ever got mad at me though there were times when he voiced his displeasure. My cousin, We grew up together and have always been close. We've been there for each other, and when our grandad died, we supported each other thoguh we were both upset. With my granddad it was the time that he and my grandmother and my parents and I went to teh Smokey Mountains for vacation. It was the only one that they ever went on with us, and we all had a good time. With my cousin, I'd have to say that were close all the time. The one person I try to steer clear of, is my grandmother on my mom's side. She always puts me down and makes it obvious that she likes my younger cousing better than me and my mom. She has purposly tried to start fights and attempts to embarrassess me every attemtp she getts. Then she tries to make me look bad becuase i try to avoid her so i won't say the wrong thing, or get put down for the millionth time

Okay... I still need to discuss the worker problem with a few people, but for right now I'm standing by my choice of Eamon as the person who seemed the most responsible, friendly, and helpful. I have my friend stay overnight for my birthday :O. We stay up until about 4AM playing video games. Funfun . THe best and worst party... I dunno. All real birthday parties I've had were back from third grade or lower :O.

I'm closest to my mom and my dad, because I know them the best and stuff. I dunno anything in particular that was a really great time . I don't have bad relations with any member of my family... well, my 8 year old brother is incredibly annoying, but that tends to happen ;/.

My cousin is really the only relative I talk to online. We talk all the time on MSN. We visit similar music sites because we like the same music kinda, and we're members of a very active music message board also. I have around 8 or 9 school friends on my MSN list also. One of them is a member of that music message board also. ^^

I'd say my mum, probably because she's the easiest to talk to and is around a lot. We've been close for most of the time, I can't remember a specific event. I try and keep out of the way of my brother, because he's the most annoying person aroound, thinks he looks so cool by swearing, think he's so big etc etc

Seeing as how you and Eamon live in different time zones and he wakes up before you do (or so I believe), I doubt he was rushing to assist first

The only people who are unhappy with this is you, Jay, Haunted Toilet, Aquatic Fury and KinkyAdidas. You, HT and KA aren't even regulars to this forum and are only here because you are latchkeys to Jay (I dicussed this with Jay so don't go off running to him about it). Aside from you guys, no one else has spoken up about this at all and as far as I remember, there are a lot more customers than you guys

I personally don't care if Eamon works here. Yes, I was a bit angry that he was hired even though he's a newcomer to this forum and he was against AC/CC before. And it was foolish of Dan and Chris to hire someone without doing a proper competition or something. Anyway, a few points that you seem to have missed.

1. Since when was it a requirement that people must fill out applications or participate in a tournament to be hired? And how would that even apply to the GT? IMO, the best worker would be one that's responsible, friendly, and helpful, and my choices were people who fulfilled those qualities.

2. Seeing as I considered everyone who's been consistently active based on the categories I just explained, it should be obvious that I did NOT base it on Eamon asking to help first or whatever.

3. So far, the only people who oppose Eamon are Feztra, Kelly, Jay (plus two people who never post here and really have no reason to be yelling). That is decidedly NOT all of the tower, and I will not treat it as such.

Anyway, I still need to talk about this with some other people (namely Cheesey). Until then, I can assure you that NOTHING is going to change.

Don't give me a warning for this, I'm not joining the argument again. I want to make two seperate points.

1) Haunted Toilet was a regular at PCG way back when feztra was working... And you can call KA my 'significant other', though he doesn't have much clue what he's talking about, he has as much background as Eamon has. You can't actually say they have no clue what they're talking about, they actually do. Just needed to say that before you want to complain about it.

I seriously do want to work here, as Clark has stated. This was the first place I worked at and I had to leave to give Cheesey a chance at moderation, not to mention both my life was a) hell, and b) everyone was an *** to me at the time I requested to be demodded, and eventually requested to be banned. I know Danny has said there is pretty much no chance I'll work here because of Kyle's desire of getting a 'female' worker on board (biased but whatever). If I get my job back I'll be ecstatic, but if not, meh. I don't want to act stubborn, but it won't happen like with the Battle Tower if I was rehired. ~_~ Umm, yeah, that's all. *Walks off* No complaining, whee.

Relatives: No, though I wish I could keep in contact with my niece's and nephews a bit more, since I relate to kids younger moreso than adults or ones around my age who appear to have little grudges with me ~_~ And heck if I know if they get on the net, lol.. I know two of my niece's visit neopets.

I have friends from my old highschool and from my former TAFE program on my MSN messenger, and I talk to them a lot, but not as much as the people online. And hell no, they're not members of the same place.

I think I am the closest to my moms (Yes, moms. Deal with it). They are the only ones who I see often, since all my other relatives are at least an hour's drive away. I have fun with them all the time!
One relative that, thankfully, I don't see much, is my cousin, Sam. He's autistic, and a teenager, so the hormones are kicking in, and... well, sometimes I don't think he realizes that I'm his cousin. O_o
