    Yes, I know... Any comments on people that would be interested?

    BTW, RA, do you read previous posts at all? I told you not to put up posts like that without including something to help progress the RPG as well?

    Jeremiah

    Jeremiah had ventured upstairs to check on Illu'vatar since everyone else was ready to go and he had yet to show up. As he reached to knock on the door to his room, the door suddently opened and Illu'vatar charge straight out head-on into Jeremiah.

    Dazed, Jeremiah spurted, "Well, atleast we both have hard heads."

    Jeremiah laughed as he helped Illu'vatar up off the floor.

    "We are all waiting for you. It is time to begin our journey," Jeremiah said as he and Illu'vatar were walking back to the lobby.

    "Yeah, about that...sorry."

    "Hey, no worries. You don't have time to eat breakfast so I grabbed a couple fruit, a few pieces of bacon, and some bread for you. Also, have this canteen of water to wash it all down."

    Illu'vatar smiled and thanked Jeremiah for grabbing him some breakfast as they met up with the rest of the party in the lobby.

    OOC: Sorry, Tsukasa. Just trying to help keep this thing alive. I shouldn't have to post so close to my last post.

    Hi everyone! Uh Tsukasa invited me to replace Crystal Tears. I've read through all the posts and I get the jist of whats going on so no worries.

    Name: Kamoku Teinei
    Age: 22
    Gender: F
    Race: Harpie
    Class: Priestess
    Appearance: Six feet tall and lithe body form. She barly makes any sound when she moves. (except when flying but even that's minimal) She has long saddle brown coloured hair. It goes a little past her shoulders and is half up half down. About 4 braids running through it and tied into her ponytail. Her wings are also saddle brown but with the tips goldenrod and the base black fading to brown. Her eyes are a bottemless deep blue. Her face is usually expressionless but her eyes show all that she is feeling if you look closely. She wears a peru colured t-shirt with a hole in the back for her wigs to fit through. She wears sienna coloured loose pants and goes barefoot.
    Personality: Thinks a lot and says little. She has an icy shell about as thick at when the artic freezes over. Fortunatly like the artic it will melt but is quick to freeze when the first chill comes her way. Meaning she will hide behind her defenses at the first sign of unfriendlyness or ill will. She has only made friends with people who somehow manage to get through her defenses. She is not quick to anger and keeps her head in tough/dangerous situations. Worked in healer stations on both sides for most of her life.
    Weapon Class: Very good Karate?
    Magic: Um . . . not sure on this but VERY good healer, can bring people back from the almost certain death. Decent defensive magics, nill for offensive.
    Relationships: Friends with Riko?
    Hometown: Harpy Forest
    Other: Die other! *karate chops*

    ~~~~~
    {Of all the times for a storm to blow up why NOW??? RIGHT when I had to rush to meet the King. If anyone gets in my way I am going to THRASH him or her to a pulp!}
    Needless to say I was NOT in a good mood when I flew into the King castle. Yes FLEW. Doors are too cumbersome, and an open window was what I considered my personal invitation in.
    If the guards hadn’t seen me I would have gone in without a problem. Unfortunately I was in too much of a bad mood to think of coming in a way to avoid them so . . . they started to yell at me. You see, guards may be able to see but their ears aren’t necessarily in working order. I fly quiet enough I could have gotten in without a problem. As it were I just dropped the tattered scroll nicely onto one of their heads and the yelling stopped. I winged in to a landing and composed myself before walking over to the shocked manservant.
    “I am here to speak to the King. My note is in the hands of the guard about to walk in here.” {More like stomping while yelling many a curse at me.}
    The manservant opened his mouth a couple of times unintelligible noises emitting from his throat. Just then a guard banged open the doors and the servant jumped. I rolled my eyes and calmly turned around. {Here it comes.}
    “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE JUST FLYING IN HERE!?!?! WERE LUCKY WE DIDN’T SHOOT YOU DOWN YOU IGNORANT, SELF-LOVING STU-“
    “Excuse me but that scroll explains that I was invited.” I stated calmly while wiping my face. The outraged, red-faced guard was about 2 feet away from me if your wondering how hit me with his spit.
    The guard stepped right up to me and paled quite quickly when he realized he was about 6 inches shorter then me. I just stared down at him and if possible he paled even more as he backed peddled rapidly and opened the scroll. He read it muttering to himself while nervously glancing up at me.
    “What is this?” I heard from a voice behind me and saw the King step out from his room.
    I got down on one knee and looking to the ground said to the King, “I am Kamoku Teinei. I am sorry I am late but bad weather hampered my voyage.”
    “Ah I see. Stand Kamoku.” He said and I rose looking him in the eye. I was satisfied when he didn’t look away from my chilling gaze. Then in respect I returned my gaze to the floor.
    He then went on to explain what we had to do and I nodded on occasion. The previously flabbergasted servant then handed me a Life Root and I took it graciously.
    “Now you should go meet your companions, they are about ready to depart I presume. They are at this Inn” He finished showing me an address.
    I nodded and bowed on final time before carefully placing the Life Root into my pack. I slung it over back my back and took flight out the window. I flew over to the Inn and walked into it. A group was standing in the lobby there and I nodded to them.
    “I am Kamoku Teinei, sorry for my late arrival but foul weather over the sea delayed me. Hello Riko long time no see.”
    He smiled briefly to me and I then turned from them and quickly ordered some food. I was hungry and need something before we set off. I also wanted to conserve the food I had packed.
    I passed over my money to the waiter and quickly downed my tea and some food. Not full so as to not hamper movement but enough to sustain me. I turned to the group and asked, “So how are we to get to this desert?”
    Illu'vatar
    "Thanks," I said, smiling greatfully. Jeremiah didn't seem the type to bring someone breakfast. As a matter of fact, he seemed like he'd be the one a person would be taking breakfast to. He was a little shorter than me, but a bit stockier, and more warrior like.
    Maybe he is a warrior...
    I quickly at the food he had given me, literally forcing the food down my throat. Hopefully, I would be able to digest it before we did any serious physical work. The water really helped with the bread, because of it's thickness, though it was quite fluffy.
    Just like I'd ecspected, the rest of the "chosen ones" were lounging in the lobby, seemingly ready to get started on the journey. Just as I'd finished drinking all the water, I took notice of a new face standing by the door. She was tall, looking to be not but a few inches shorter than myself. She was a she, and that was an obvious plus, and was definitely a harpy, unless of course, I was hallucinating and she really didn't have wings on her back.
    “I am Kamoku Teinei, sorry for my late arrival but foul weather over the sea delayed me. Hello Riko long time no see."
    She immediately proceeded to order something to eat, and shortly thereafter she was finished, and seemingly well nourished.
    "So how do we get to this des..."
    Before she finished her sentence, I began to fall. It was a suprise to even myself, for I rarely ever passed out. I heard myself hit the floor with a rather sickening thud, and I even heard myself grunt, but I didn't feel anything. It was like I was myself, but outside myself at the same time. Like I was half spirit, half man. I thought I was still dreaming, when everything suddenly went black. Jeremiah, Masashi, Riko, Makina, Talon, Regan, and the new harpy, all disappeared. The last thing I saw was them rushing to my limp body. Though I couldn't see anything, I could hear Jeremiah slapping my face, yelling for me to get up. Then, suddenly, the noise stopped. It was like I was in a void, a black hole, and it was sucking the life out of me. I felt myself slipping.
    Give in Illu'vatar...you weren't meant for this world...
    The sudden voice relieved me of my dying feeling. I felt suddenly rejuvinated, and as my face suddenly brightened up, I heard the voice gasp.
    You are stronger than I thought, but I will win this battle, and your soul will be mind!
    As I snapped to, and my eyes fluttered open, Jeremiah was raising his hand back for another slap. Instinctively, I snapped my hand forward, catching his wrist. Breathing heavily, I put my hand back down.
    "I'm okay... I'm okay... just a relapse of my dream this morning...I think... I hope."
    It seemed as though I was losing my sanity...
    Jeremiah
    Illu'vatar grabbed Jeremiah's wrist before he could slap him again. It seemed he had regained his consciousness after his unexplained faint. Jeremiah had been paying attention to the newest, and late arriving, member of the group, a female harpy who identified herself as Kamoku, when he sensed Illu'vatar slump over and fall to the floor beside him. Just a second ago he was finishing the breakfast Jeremiah had saved for him, next thing you know he is laid out on the floor.
    "This could be a definate problem," Jeremiah thought to himself, hoping that the fainting wasn't a common occurance as it would interfere with travelling and especially battle.
    "Are you alright?" Jeremiah asked Illu'vatar.
    "Yes, I think so." he responded, still dazed.
    "What the hell was that!?" Riko asked, out of concern for Illu'vatar's well-being and for the party's ability to function, probably more of the latter.
    "Why, I believe I fainted," he cooly replied, and glared at Riko.
    "No sh*t, buddy," Jeremiah grinned as he helped Illu'vatar up.
    Talon laughed and assisted Jeremiah in helping the dragonman up.
    "Well, we need to get to the root of this. We don't need it happening it the midst of battle because it could cost yours and perhaps the rest of our lives." Makina stated.
    Regan concurred and started preparing some tea for Illu'vatar.
    "Sit down and relax," she said as she brought him a cup, "and explain what that was."
    Illu'vatar
    "Sit down and relax," said Regan as she brought me a cup, "and explain what that was."
    "Well...to make a long story short, I'd guess it was something that was left over from the dre... I mean nightmare I had this morning. It was different from the ones I'd been having before. As far back as I can remember, I've been having dreams of a man with bright emerald eyes full of malice and hatred, bathing in flames. Recently, I was able to clearly see this man's face. It turned out I was dreaming about...myself. I was absolutely terrified," I spewed out quickly, afraid that I might pass out again.
    "I thought that I might turn into the man in my dreams, an evil, hateful creature who's only thought was to destroy. You see, I was like that once, a long, long time ago. I nearly destroyed my entire entire family. I was afraid of becoming that man again. Then, this morning, I had the same dream as always, except that the man talked to me. He said that soon I would be his. Just know, however, it was extremely different. It seemed like I was a ghost or something, and I was watching myself lie on the floor. I watched as Jeremiah smacked my face so I could wake up. Then, suddenly, everything vanished, and it was like I was standing in a black void. I felt like I was dying...then the voice came. It was the same voice from my other dream. It said the same old cliche bull****, and then I woke up."
    I took a deep sigh, and wiped my forehead.
    "It feels great to get that off my chest."
    It seemed like being apart of a sort of "brotherhood" was changing me. Never before would I've told this people anything that personal to me. I would've lied and said it was putrid smell, or a bad headache. Hopefully, being with this "brotherhood" would strengthen my soul, and I'd be able to overcome and vanquish this evil in my heart, instead of hiding and running from it.
    Sorry for my absense, there is no excuse for it but I seemingly have been busy as of late and neglected this RPG. I am extremely sorry... and I will post. Oh, and for further reference: Riko doesn't swear, and if he does... he swears with very elaborate words, not the common ones. ^^ Just for a future reference...
    RIKO
    Harpy - M
    **
    Riko frowned slightly, totally shocked by the use of tone Illu'vatar had used for him.
    If I didn't know better... he was being rash towards me.
    Riko was a bit hurt by this, for Riko was not mean nor unkind towards anyone, and when harsh words were directed towards himself, Riko couldn't help but feel guilty. Even if he did nothing wrong, he felt guilty.
    Listening intently to Illu's story, Riko nodded as he began to listen to the dream... and Riko's eyes were fixed souly upon Illu.
    "Dreams are not to be taken lightly. If this man is appearing in your dreams... whether he be yourself or some one else, it means some thing. Trust me, I've had skills and am familiar with the arts of self, and dreams can be many things. They can tell the future, or give you warnings. If you think that this man was yourself...or is yourself, then it could be a warning. "
    Riko took a finishing sip of his tea, as he glanced to Jeremiah and then to Makina, for they were nearest to him.
    " If you are having troubles with yourself, if you feel darkness grab or bind you, you must tell one of us at least. Dreams that fortell of oneself becoming evil or destructive, are one of the most dangerous signs of darkness or binding chaotics. If you were to be trapped in them... you ... you might never come back."
    Riko's voice trailed off, as he glanced away from everyone. Clenching his eyes shut, he felt a liquid develope in the corner of his eye as he quickly stood up, his wings folded more so tightly than ever.
    " Excuse me, I must go for some fresh air."
    Riko quickly took a step out, and immediatly glanced out at the morning's air. Riko quickly found a supporting wall, and he slowly leaned against it, and then sagged slightly so that he was crouched towards the ground. HIs wings draped over his shoulders only slightly, as he ran his fingers through his hair.
    Is the darkness truely growing?
    He thought, sighing as his eyes closed for a brief moment..
    At least Kamoku came through, even if weather had tried to tamper her arrival. Perhaps there was hope but... Riko felt the pain of losing one to the darkness already. He didn't want it to happen again..
    " Myia... " He softly whispered, taking in a deep breath as he simply kept his position, awaiting if the others decided on the course to take... let them make the decisions, Riko would simply follow.
    Jeremiah
    "I wonder what is wrong with him?" Jeremiah asked, referring to Riko.
    "I don't know, I think he was a upset about something." Makina replied.
    "Well, we need to make our plans. Ill'uvatar, are you going to be alright?" Jeremiah pondered, knowing that his condition could seriously disrupt the party's travel.
    "I think I am fine now." Ill'uvatar grunted.
    "Okay, well, you guys decided what to do. I am going to go talk with Riko and see if everything is alright." Jeremiah said as he exited the Inn.
    He found Riko leaning against a side wall of the Inn, nearly sitting. He noticed tears running down his face.
    "Is everything alright?" Jeremiah asked as he sat down on the ground next to Riko and leaned back against the wall.
