    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

    Name: Reana Brightwater
    Gender: Female
    Age: 15
Location: Goldenrod City. Originally from Cherrygrove, her parents moved from the simple country life into the big city as they secured high paying jobs within Silph Co.
Personality: Although bright, cheerful and positive on the outside, this merely masks Reana’s insecurities. Although she portrays herself as self-confident, in actual fact she is quite shy, and unsure of how too handle herself around new people. She dis-likes tense situations, and so tends to break them up with humour, some how instinctively knowing the right moment too do so. She is most comfortable around pokčmon, as she isn’t really sure how to relate to other people, have been a loner for most of her life. Nonetheless, she is eager to make friends, and once she does she is intensely loyal to them. Sometimes at confusing odds at herself, she simply likens herself to “a walking contradiction”, and is curious about all things spiritual. Strangely enough, she has a queer addiction to shiny things- beads, metallic objects- if its reflective, she’ll often become entranced, simply watching the pattern of light reflecting from it.
Before Appearance: Tall and slender, her tawny gold hair falls to her waist, thick and silky. She usually wears it in a loose plait, threaded through beads, and ribbons. Her eyes are a bright, emerald green, contrasting slightly with her pale golden tan. Her usual outfit consists of snug, faded blue, flared jeans, which have delicate silver silvery traceries of the moon and stars winding up the right legs, and left thigh. She wears a short-sleeved black t-shirt, with a small cartoon devil sporting clumsily stuck on wings and a halo. Over this she generally wears a dark blue sleeveless vest, and matching fingerless gloves. She wears plain white sneakers.
    Crystal: Lunar Gem
Hybrid Appearance: Her hair is still a tawny gold, but there are darker streaks mixed through. Her ears have moved up on top of her head, and are similar to a wolf’s, but they are sharper, and slightly longer. (think Umbreon). Her teeth sharpen substantially, and she gains a soft, silky coat of short black fur as well as a matching tail. Interspersed evenly over her coat are faint yellow rings, which brighten around her tail, upper arms and legs, and there is a large, golden diamond marking on her forehead. Her jewel is embedded in her forehead. Her hands convert slightly to paws, with retractable claws, as do her legs.
Attacks: Faint Attack, Shadow Ball, Quick Attack, Moonlight
Pokčmon Owned: A large, perverted Arcanine by the name of Miroku.
    Relations: Open
Other: **looks around furtively, and drops an A-bomb** *whistles* “What? I didn’t do anything and I can prove it!” **holds up a Barney toy** “umm.. you weren’t supposed too see that….”

    Name: Aphrodite
    Species: Ninetales
    Gender: Female
Personality: Smart and sassy, she interjects comments with scathing sarcasm. She holds herself slightly aloof, and is supremely self confident, though this occasionally carries across as arrogance. However, she is sorely troubled by events in her past, refusing too disclose them, even though they affect her actions. Her temper flares quickly, but subsides just as fast, and she often has violent mood swings. Her real temper takes a while too be provoked, but when it is she holds nothing back. She loves junk food, especially chocolate, and can be somewhat pathetic in her attempts to get some.
Appearance: Her coat is a deep, nutshell gold, while her coat, belly, and tail tips are a metallic silver. Her eyes are a deep violet, and change within that spectrum according to her mood.
    Crystal: Flame Crystal
Attacks: Flame Thrower, Safe Guard, Fire Spin, Confuse Ray
    Other:

    ~~Reana (Lunar Crystal) ~~

“Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh I’m gonna be late! I knew I shouldn’t have had that last jam donut!” I wailed, bolting down the road as fast as my legs would carry me… It wasn’t very fast, too say the least. I had been staying with relatives in Ecruteak City when I had heard about some archaeological dig that had pokčmon troubles. Interested, I resolved too go along. But my aunty was famous within my family circle for horrendously over-feeding people, and I had willingly succumbed to her blandishments. I pulled small ball from my belt, and pressing the white button a t its centre, maximised it. Biting my lip, I glanced at the pokčball in my hand. Should I risk it? With a deep sigh, I released my one and only pokčmon- Miroku, my Arcanine- one with severe mental problems. As the white light slowly faded, it revealed a tall, deep chested firedog gambolling around me, tongue hanging out as his hazel eyes stared at me with lewd interest. Rolling my eyes, I grabbed a hold of his silky cream mane, and after a precious few seconds had been lost, managed to haul myself aboard him.

“Go straight for the camp! Extreme speed!” I yelled, my hair whipping in my eyes as my faithful (and perverted) Arcanine took one giant leap forward- and the world around me blurred. Some minutes later and he jerked abruptly too a stop, leaving me dangling from his mane, upside down and straight in his face. Giving me a wide, doggy grin her promptly shoved his cold, wet nose down my shirt. Shrieking, I let go of his mane and slapped him across the face.

“PERVERT!!!!” I screamed, startling several Pidgey in the general area from their perches. Whimpering, and giving me a reproachful look, Miroku pawed his nose. Oh no, I wasn’t going to fall for that… My mahogany coloured Arcanine was a master of manipulation- and too put it politely, had an all out obsession with anything female that had a heartbeat. It was quite disturbing really… and even more annoying. Scowling at him, I raked a hand through my bangs, letting them flop back into my face, squinting emerald eyes at the chaotic mess of a camp before me.

Of course, I received no attention at all, and with one hand wrapped firmly around Miroku’s collar, walked into frenzy. Immediately, a large, fat balding man grasped my arm and wheezed, “Your late! Hurry up and go into the cave!” Having delivered his message, he waddled off in some random direction. Shrugging my shoulders, I looked around, finally settling on a large, cave-ish looking hole near some large boulders at the foot of the mountain. Mounting Miroku once more and warning him against any funny stuff- “You know what I mean!” I said with a glare- I sent him off in the general direction.

After many harrowing near-death experiences, having to duck various sharp objects thrown at me, and having been exposed to practically every swear word in the English dictionary, we where at the cave. I pointed at it and announced dramatically, “In.” Miroku groaned, before whuffing slightly and jogging in. I was forced to bend over slightly at the low ceiling, before the small tunnel widened out into a large room, which contained three offshoot tunnels. Still worried that I was late, (and going to miss out on catching a super-intelligent pokčmon and masses of prize money- well, at least that was what I was told) I simply poked Miroku, and whined, “Pick one….” Serving me a disdainful look over his shoulder, my Arcanine nonetheless picked the right hand tunnel.

Too lazy to be bothered getting off, I merely tightened my hold, and crouched lower into his fluffy/silky/what-ever-you-wanna-call-it fur. “Don’t get any idea’s” I scolded him, as we raced through many different caves, some containing trainers, some with startled Zubat and Geodudes- and some where empty. I was getting bored quite quickly, but as Miroku seemed to be tracking a scent, I was content too let him be. He stopped abruptly, and I blinked with astonishment. His whole body was tense, muscles rippling like silken steel beneath his coat, and he was snarling, hackles raised.

Confused, I jumped off him and peeked around the corner. There was a mixed group of humans and pokčmon standing in the front of a large, ornate door that had a large crack running from its base, which seemed to be slowly widening. The trainers in front of it seemed quite agitated, and from a lofty perch on the rockslide of the tunnel, a violet-eyed Ninetales was eyeing up Miroku with a predatory gleam. The pokčmon suddenly seemed to go berserk, frantically trying to get the humans away from what I was suddenly sure was a very, very bad place. Miroku growled, a deep rumble that vibrated through his chest, before he whined with fear, his aggressive posture disappearing like water through a cupped palm.

He grovelled in the dirt, paws held over his eyes, and tail tucked firmly between his legs. Confused, I returned him too his pokčball and took a step forward. And promptly fell face first into the dirt. The earth was shaking and pitching angrily, and the crack on the door turned into many, until it finally burst open in a shower of rocks fragments. From deep within its dark interior, a terrifying screech sounded, and the hairs on the back of my neck rose. Several mighty footsteps shook the ground, and then I heard the unmistakable sound of a bird taking off. I cautiously opened my eyes- and immediately wanted too shut them again.

A dark, mighty phoenix passed over head, and the rock before it melted and rippled into a smooth tunnel before the force of its fiery breath. Composed entirely of dark flames, it almost seemed like the embodiment of evil. I shivered, and my mind linked it too a strange combination of Ho-oh and Moltres- only much nastier, bigger, and clothed in red and black. Plus, those pokčmon generally wouldn’t make everyone within a 100-metre radius want to cower into the dirt. Well, maybe they would- but that’s not my point. For a moment, random words and phrases rose and whispered in my brain, along with fleeting images. Already slightly shocked, I was too numb too really comprehend what was going on. A moment later and the strange Ninetales was before me, her tails swept elegantly around her body as she assumed a regal pose before my crouched figure.

She looked down her snout at me for a moment, before barking an order. Blinking, I unsteadily rose too my feet, and was surprised too find a warm body underneath my outstretched hand. My eyes faded in an out with strange sun spot like shapes, and I stumbled forward blindly, my hands seeking a rock surface to cling to while I recovered. My footsteps seemed to echo for a moment, and then I tripped face first- yet again. I let out a startled yelp of pain, as I couldn’t see anything before me, as I had been partially blinded by the heat waves rolling off the strange Evil Bird. My forehead hit a smooth, faceted surface, and I lay there for a moment, butt sticking into the air, wondering why it didn’t hurt.

When my scrambled brain finally started too make some sense, I managed to fall over backwards, somehow tripping over my own feet- tough I strongly suspected it was in actual fact, a soft furry paw, but I had bigger things to worry about. Such as the fact that my sight was slowly returning- and showing me a room full of floating, rain bowed crystals. I was momentarily overawed, before something smacked me in the face. I let out a half strangled yell of outrage, before a sheet of cool, white fire raced over my entire body. I sat there on the floor, frozen with fear as I felt fur sprout from my skin, my ears lengthen and grow points, before moving too the top of my head- and my hands turn into strange paws.

Shivering uncontrollably, I hugged my arms around my body as the last of the light faded, my eyes open and staring out into space. ’This is just a dream, just a dream…’ I murmured too myself, unable too cope with the sudden whirlwind change of events. Still slightly numbed from it all, I eventually forced myself to get over it. Rocking on the floor and acting like a mental ward patient wouldn’t help anyone- well, it’d make me feel better, but that wasn’t what I needed right now. After carefully clambering onto unsteady legs, I felt a strange pressure at the base of my side. There was a sudden ripping sound, and I felt something spring free of my jeans. Yelping, I half twisted around to see the Ninetales with one paw outstretched, a claw clearly glinting in the dim light that entered the chamber, from various pokčmon, and outside sources.

I blinked rapidly, watching something twitch and wiggle at the corner of my vision. Loosing my patience, I grabbed it angrily- only to give a high pitched yip of pain as claws sunk into my tail. Wait a minute- back up. I had a tail?! Utterly confused, I began twisting around and examining myself from head too toes. My sneakers where in shreds, as my hind feet had ripped through them with sharp, silver claws. My hands also sported these, and too my surprise they where retractable, much like a cat type pokčmon’s. My entire body was covered in soft, downy black fur, with bright yellow rings on my forehead, upper shoulders, thighs, and tail, which was large and fluffy.

I was informed by a low, sultry voice from beside me, that “You are now part pokčmon- and Umbreon too be exact. Of course, you now where near as cute” For some reason she emphasised that particular word, “ as Little Eevee boy over there. Though I pity him for having Ezra as a guardian,” She mumbled, her violet eyes shining in pale, pastel colours with mischievous good humour. I turned around too see the golden Ninetales from earlier, and absently nodded at her words as my mind began too catch up with recent events. Half a minute later and I whipped around, asking in a shocked voice, “Hang, you can talk?” She rolled her eyes, before answering with in a sarcastic tone, “No, my mouth’s just moving. What do you think, human?” The last word was said with a slight sneer, and I frowned, unsure of how too react.

I coughed quietly before saying, “My names Reana Brightwater. What’s yours?” The question had evidently caught her off guard, but she rose too her feet in one sleek movement and replied off handedly, “Aphrodite.” She then wandered over the cavern too talk with a tall Ampharos, the red gem on her chest winking at me as she passed. I was confused momentarily, and frowned slightly. But my forehead felt strange- and as I lifted a paw too see why, I encountered a smooth, hard, stone.

Crap…” I groaned, remembering how I had head butted something. “Great- juuuust great.” I grumbled, before I let myself sink too the floor. That was when I encountered the first of many (well actually it was the last in a long line of them, but I had a feeling they’d be way more after this,) surprises- my legs now hinged backwards. Obviously, my jeans weren’t meant for such movement, and pinched horribly. Cursing under my breath, I carefully pulled one claw down the centre of my jeans, slitting them from around knee height. I bounced a round for a moment, trying them out, and was satisfied.

I began to grin, and cheered, “Yes! I’m half pokčmon, how absolutely cool!” Several other people in the cavern gave me strange looks, and I waved back sheepishly, my hands fumbled at my belt. Without warning, Miroku’s ball tipped loose, automatically flying back to my hand- I mean paw- and shrinking back down to the size of a large button. I clipped it back on my belt, and warily watched the shape of my Arcanine take form. He looked around curiously for a moment, before seeing me and grinning. “Heya babe!!” he yelled, jumping forward, and landing with easy grace.

I frowned slightly, and poked him in the forehead as he waited for praise. “You are such a dimwit.” I sighed, my tail swishing with agitation. The mahogany firedog stared at me for a moment, before taking another step forward. “Reana?” He questioned, understandably curious. “Umm…. Yes Miroku…” I said nervously, not liking the sudden gleam in his eyes. Howling with laughter, the stupid animal promptly collapsed too the dirt, rolling around the floor as he vented his amusement. Growling dangerously, I barked, “Get up you good for nothing piece of dog food!” He opened one hazel eye before replying, “I am a dog. And you, my fair lady, are one mighty looking half-pokčmon.”

This of course, sent him off into a fresh course of laughter, and thoroughly fed up with him, my foot connected with his face. “SHUT UP!!!” I yelled, and blushed heavily as everyone stared at me, open mouthed. “Oh man…” I moaned, realising the scolding glares of several pokčmon, as I had interrupted their lectures on just why we where in this predicament. My ears swivelling too catch their conversations, I glared at my ill-mannered pokčmon, fur on end and my claws un-sheathed. “I’m warning you…” I hissed, stalking forward. Miroku scrambled too his feet, and promptly began apologising, dropping too the dirt in front of me with his belly up. “Sorry Boss,” He whined, wriggling like a puppy. Slightly appeased, I scratched him in his favourite spot, and deciding too try out my new limbs, began a mock tussle with him.

It ended with a flash of gold bowling us both over and saying with utter boredom, “Finished yet pups? You may want too listen too what the other crystal bearers have too say.” Once again embarrassed, I slunk over to the large group, refusing too meet anyone’s eyes. I mean this was cool and everything- but I must have broken the world record of embarrassing myself more three times in less than 5 minutes! Aphrodite just smirked, her tails waving in my face as I walked past. “Why me?” I moaned, looking around for someone too fill me in. My ears twitching constantly, I caught the sound of someone’s pokčgear reporting on something about the Evil Bird- and the ensuing discussion on whether or not too follow the Dark Phoenix.

By eavesdropping practically the whole time, I managed too piece together that some Evil Bird called the Dark Phoenix was currently rampaging over Johto, would only appear at night, and was headed for Olivine City, having already demolished Ecruteak. Added together with several smarmy comments from Aphrodite, I finally understood what was going on. And I made my decision- I wanted too curl up and go too sleep. Seemed like the easiest thing too do in my opinion. Unfortunately, that wasn’t going too happen- a group of smarty-pants trainers where throwing pokčballs left right and centre.

Having no clue what so ever as too this seen turn of events, I looked around for a way out. I was a human, no way was I going into a pokčball! Frantically whistling, I vaulted onto Miroku’s back, ignoring his fierce growling. I barely managed to make myself heard of the cacophony of human cries, and pokčmon attacks. “GEMME OUTTA HERE!” I hollered, crouching down low on my faithful companions back. Aphrodite seemed strangely frightened, and quivering with fear, curled herself around me on Miroku’s back, keeping up a constant stream of muttered whimpers. Trying to avoid various flying objects, I none-too-gently guided my Arcanine in the direction of a large Rapidash. It’s rider, along with a strangely demented Persian, where currently bolting for the only exit, along with several other trainers and pokčmon that couldn’t fly/climb etc.

Deciding that this was the safest course of action, I gently kicked Miroku behind the shoulders, yelling for him too follow the Rapidash. My Arcanine currently looked like a giant fluff ball, and I was assuming that I didn’t look much better, as my back muscles tensed, waiting for the impact of debris. We fought our w ay through the mayhem, finally breaking through too the clear space of the tunnels. The Rapidash was already a fair way ahead, and Miroku promptly head after it, gracefully clearing any obstacle too our progress. I was slightly perturbed at Aphrodite’s sudden change in behaviour, and could only put it down too the appearance of trainers- as she had been full of smarmy, sarcastic comments mere moments before. She had managed to put her head halfway up my shirt, and I could feel her shivering, and her tails where wrapped firmly around me.

I was finding it a little hard too balance, but Miroku helped in his own way, constantly adjusting the balance changes of his passengers. We fled through the tunnels, always keeping track of the Rapidash ahead, before we finally emerged into a large cavern, which had an opening leading out into a small clearing. My legs shaking, and slightly numb from the events that had happened in the past hour or so, I bonelessly slid from my Arcanine’s back with an audible thump, as several other people skidded in behind us, looking dusty and slightly worse for the wear. I looked around for a moment before furiously digging around in my backpack, which had stayed with me through a miracle of fate.

With a triumphant yell, which startled someone into a yelp- I couldn’t tell who, I produced some food. “Chocolate!” I squealed, unwrapping a Cherry Ripe. Miroku flopped too the ground beside me with a loud, doggy sigh, and Aphrodite curled up beside him, strangely quite. I offered her a bit, and after warily sniffing it, she accepted the treat. I looked a round for a moment, before saying aimlessly, “I have chocolate if you want it.” And then I discovered d my Maltesers, which where kidnapped by Miroku. I served him a fierce glare, before laughing and opening the packet.

Whilst totally weirded out by everything that had happened, and was happening, I was happy with my chocolate, and my buddy Miroku. A minute passed, and the firedog laid his head in my lap, giving me a pleading look as he saw the rest of my Cherry Ripe. “Please?” He whined, rolling onto his back. For my answer, I settled myself into a cross-legged position and lightly tapped his nose. “No way.” Miroku was silent for a moment- and then of all the things, for the second time that day, I found something wet diving down my shirt. This time however, it wasn’t a nose- it was a long, drool covered tongue searching for a malteser. Screaming with fury, I slapped him as hard as I could across the face, and scrambled away too safety.

“YOU STUPID MONGREL!” I howled, and a crackling ball of dark energy formed between my cupped hands. Growling ferociously, I propelled it towards Miroku, snarling when it missed. I was about to launch a second attack when someone tripped me over. I lay in the dirt for a moment, before complaining, “Ow.” And got up, brushing myself off like nothing had happened. What can I say? Some people react to stress and strange events by breaking down. Me? I get chocolate cravings and an overly hormonal Arcanine, who has no respect for females- and is the biggest pervert under the sun. I don’t know what I did too deserve this, but I’m sure it had nothing too do with the time I painted Miroku hot pink. Right? I mean, all these events are totally un-related… I hope.

For the millionth time that day, I received several blank, confused stares.. I blinked, before blushing and hiding behind Miroku. I had actually said all that out loud !!! I groaned, and sank too the floor. Why was my life so cruel? Why couldn’t someone else embarrass themselves on an average of once every 15 minutes???

OOC: Sorry about being late hope this is okay! Ack, if there's any spelling mistakes sorry, I proof read this, but I think I missed a few.

OOC: You seem to be confused about the words “too” and “to”.

Imani and Beacon – Shock Crystal

“It’s times like these that make me glad I got turned into a rodent,” I said. I looked down at Beacon and sighed; she wouldn’t be able to climb up there. I would have to find another way out. I stood in deep thought until something hit the back of my head, breaking my train of thought. I looked back and saw several trainers, each with a pokeball ready to be thrown.

“What are they doing here?” I asked out loud.

“They could be here for the ‘intelligent Pokemon’ that are supposed to be around here,” Masashi answered. “The thing is, they think we’re them.”

My eyes went wide. “That’s crazy! What makes them think we’re Pokemon?” My tail twitched angrily and waved in front of my eyes. “Oh, that’s it! These guys are as good as shocked!”

Beacon stood in front of me. “No! They’re a waste of your electricity. We should just get out of here and rejoin.”

Some of our group was already racing through the trainers using their Pokemon. I let out Tiger and climbed on her back, pulling Beacon up with me. “Take us out of here, girl!” I held on tight as she blew past the trainers and through the tight corridors, dodging the occasional attack from the trainers’ Pokemon. A thought suddenly struck me and I pulled on Tiger’s mane, signaling for her to stop. I waited until everyone passed me before giving my Arcanine the order. “Tiger, bring down the roof!” She let out a Flamethrower at the ceiling, making the ceiling cave in. “That should slow them down.” We continued down the corridors and eventually through a cavern and out of the mouth and into a small clearing.

Tiger lay down and let me and Beacon slide off. “We need to find the others and continue,” I said with a yawn. “Then again, a little rest wouldn’t hurt.”

Beacon slowly nodded and plopped down. “This day has been exhausting.”

I felt something wet poke my back. Turning around, I had Tiger’s eyes staring straight into mine. “Imani, what happened to you?” she asked.

“It’s a long story,” I said, scratching behind her ears. She sniffed my face and lightly licked it. “Take five, Tiger. I’ll just ride Feather for a while.”

“YOU STUPID MONGREL!” I voice shouted suddenly. Somehow thinking that they were talking about Tiger, I put her back in her pokeball and looked for the source of the sound. A half-Umbreon looked nervously at us and hid behind her Arcanine.

Feeling curious, I cautiously walked to her. “Is there a problem?”

    “No,” she said shyly.

Her Arcanine looked at me like Tiger did and gave me a goofy smile. I reached out and scratched him behind the ears and under his chin. He got closer and sniffed my…

“Hey, get away from there!” I shouted in a slightly higher pitch than usual. I pushed him away, my cheeks sparking. “Curious guy, isn’t he?”

“His name is Miroku, and he needs to give everyone some space,” the girl said, saying the last part through clenched teeth. Miroku moved away from me, still glancing at me from time to time. “I’m Reana Brightwater. And you are?”

“Imani Dune.” I shook her hand.

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

    ~~Willow and Choriko~ Glacier and Solar crystals~~
I grinned at the girl who had just used rock slide. "You have good ideas!" I took a deep breath and let out a cool ice beam directed at their feet.
"MY TURN!" Yelled Charmander, getting ready to flamethrower.
    "No! You'll melt my ice!"
    "Sorry..."
"What's your name?" I asked the girl who used rock slide.
    "Ashley. You?"
"Willow. Now, lets get to Olivine before they burn down my house..."
We both began running. We were quite a long way from the trainers when i heard Charmander screaming.
"I can't keep up with you!!!!!!"
I sweatdropped. She never complained about it before... I grabbed her pokeball and recalled her. I sighed and continued running.
Knowing my way around was harder than i thought. Being on all fours and much lower made it so much harder. Luckily for me and Ashley, there weren't any pokemon or trainers. Not so luckily, there was a path of destruction.
After a sprint to Olivine i stopped so suddenly in my tracks that Ashley, who was right behind me, slammed into me. I rolled forward.
I got back up, shook my head to wake me up and stared in horror at the sight in front of me. Olivine was up in flames, trainers helplessly trying to fight off the pheonix and one by one failing. I blinked, sending a tear down my cheek.
    "What's wrong?" Asked Ashley.
"This is my home town... I know all these people... I've... I have to help... It's my falt... I have to help!"
"I'm coming too." Said Ashley. "Lets get that evil, over grown bird!"
I grinned, she understood what i was going through. I charged at the dark pheonix, claws ready to strike.
"SNEEEEEE!" I yelled, getting into my Sneasel character.
It turned to me, it's eyes glowing red. I jumped at it, still yelling. I stopped, mid-jump. It had some kind of psychic power? It looked like it was giving me a evil grin. I glared at it.
"This is my home! Leave here!" I screamed at it.
It slammed me agaisnt a wall which crumbled at impact. I cried out in pain. I watched Ashley begin to charge at it. I tried to yell out and tell her to stop but i couldn't. I just couldn't. I just watched, helpless.
Now i knew what pokemon went through...

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

    -----------------
Ashley and Chaco/Terra and Aqua Crystal
    -----------------

The Dark Phoenix flew around the city of Olivine, it's rein of terror continuing to destroy everything in its path.

Willow, the girl that I had been running to escape with, felt as if it were her duty to protect her hometown. I could understand that. Personally, I thought that any town the horrible beast sought to destroy should get some help.

"This is my home! Leave here!" cried Willow, after it had already foiled her attack with some sort of psychic power. But the bird was too strong for Willow, she was thrown against a wall and didn't look as if she would be able to get up.

"Oh no!" cried her Charmander, and it lept over to see if she was alright. It turned around to look at the horrible creature that had hurt its master, and gave it an angry look.

"How dare you?!" I yelled to the phoenix. I growled without realizing it, and surprised myself a bit, but kept glaring nonetheless.

"You're going down!" cried Chaco, in his Totodile voice. He looked meekly up at the huge bird, "But... maybe not right now! Ashley come on! Let's get Willow outta here!"

I was too angry to listen. "I don't think so! I can't just let him hurt people and destroy the whole city! I'm gonna so something!"

"No Ashley! Don't!" pleaded Wartortle, but again, I didn't listen.

I began to charge up to the area the large bird was flying in, and took a huge leap. I had built up enough energy for a Thrash attack, and knew that maybe if I could just get it to go away for a while, then maybe Willow and the Olivine townsepeople could get away safely...

But the bird seemed to have other plans, and it simply whipped me with its tail as I approached it. I was thrown back against the same wall as Willow, but a few feet from her.

The pain that my body was going through was immense... I recoiled off the wall and held my back. My stomach had been okay, seeing as it had the armor plating on it, but the wall had crashed into my back... I looked back to the spines on my back, and noticed that one of them had broken off...

"Eww..." I mumbled, still reeling from the pain.

Wartortle and Chaco came rushing up to me, and Charmander and Choriko had been tending to Willow.

"I'm... fine!" I said, attempting to get up. And failing.

"No you're not!" said Wartortle, shaking his head.

Chaco looked up at the huge bird. "We need to get these two out of here before the Dark Phoenix comes after us! We're vulnerable right now... Let's see if we can move them!"

I wondered to myself as Willow and I were being moved by our pokemon, how are the others fairing?

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

OOC: Hey classy, where's Tsukasa? I hope he hasn't dropped out already. And if this is anything like your fan fic, shouldn't we be able to change back into our normal selves and speak human as well as Pokéspeak?

    Kaia - Flame Crystal
    --------------------
I backed up slightly as trainers came in at all angles from the cavern openings, trying to catch what they thought were incredibly smart and strong Pokemon. Instead, they were going after about ten humans who happened to look and sound like Pokemon.
"Oh man," I moaned as they came closer, Pokeballs already in their hands. "What should we do?"
"Do what regular Pokemon do...fight back."
"But we need to escape, don't we?"
I didn't get my answer since the trainers started to shout over us.
    "Hey, that Raichu is mine!"
"I'm after the Charizard. Its tail flame is different."
I started to dodge the incoming Pokeballs, feeling slower on my feet. Realizing that I actually had wings, I started to wiggle my shoulder blades until I could feel the wings unfold. Flapping them furiously, I felt myself rise into the air before I was out of range of the Pokeballs, or at least able to smack them away. I looked down at the others and saw them mount their own Pokemon, ready to run away.
Awww, I wanted to see if I had any powers.
<You can try to figure that out another time. I need a lift out of here,> Aries's voice sounded in my mind.
"Fine..." I grumbled and swooped down and landed by his side.
"Hurry," I said and watched him jump onto my back.
As a human, it would've been hard to carry him but he felt as light as a feather. Running after the others, we lifted into the air and went down the tight corridors, my wings scraping against the edges of the wall. I saw the Raichu girl and her Ampharos go last and block the way with a flamethrower, which was a good move. I turned my head back to the escape route and found ourselves outside and on a grassy plain in minutes. Planting ourselves on the grass, I felt Aries jump off and drop to the ground while I dropped to my back in pleasure, my tail on my lap just in case.
    "ugh, that was not fun."
"Yeah, I agree. Anyway, I overheard Beacon the Ampharos say that we're going to stay put for a bit to get our energy back."
"Sounds good. I'll let the others out in the meantime."
I unclipped Nightshade's and Orion's Pokeballs and released them. Both stared at me for a bit until Orion spoke up.
"A Charizard, huh? I bet I could still beat you anyday though."
"You wish," I huffed and blew smoke into his face.
    "You can speak?" Nightshade asked.
    "I am a half Pokemon now, aren't I?"
    "How did you change?"
"Everyone touched a crystal and changed into the type that they were destined to have. As you can see, I'm a fire Pokemon, Charizard as you obviously know. Unfortunately, we released a monster by the name of Dark Phoenix and he's terrorizing Olivine City right now."
    "Bummer..."

OOC: He's trying to catch up, but he said he was working on his post. And although I wasn't thinking about it, we're supposed to be able to speak human. Plus, yeah, why not change back to being human? Wait, you read my fanfic? What do you...think of it? You don't think it's too deep, do you?

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

Sorry that my first post is this late, but I couldn't help in, anyway I tried... My Physics teacher was on my back constantly about Science Olympiad until the competition last Saturday. And besides that, homework has been a larger burden that normal for me... ^_^; But, I can at least get my sign-up form posted so you guys know I'm still trying to be involved...

    Name: Takayama Masashi (Surname first)
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17
    Location: Ecruteak City
Personality: Masashi tends to keep to himself and the small group of friends he has. He knows many people from helping them, but he doesn't get to know too many new people. In his leisure time, he loves to draw and sketch or read a book (usually some sort of fiction). He's an extremely imaginative person and enjoys sharing his dreams and ideas with those around him. He generally likes to keep a fun or comical aura around him, and for this, many people see him to be a little too upbeat sometimes. Just don't mess with him when he's angry. He's likely to bite your head off if you irritate him enough. Masashi is the kind of person that wears his happy and joyous emotions on his sleeve, but hides his depressing and angry feelings deep inside. This causes him to have the occasional eruption of depression and feeling of worthlessness from the build-up within him. Usually it takes something extremely stressful or horrible to knock him into this condition, so it's not exactly something that happens too often or for an extended period of time. In general, though, he's a fun person to be around!
Before Appearance: Masashi 5' 6" and has is fairly thin. He's not extremely skinny, but he's not exactly overweight either. He has a notable muscle tone, but he's not horribly strong. His eyes are hazel, but they lean more towards brown than green. His hair is light brown with a blue coloring in its shine. He usually likes it either spiked back on his head or parted down the middle. He keeps his hair short (1 - 1.5 inches on the top) so that his hair can stay like that. He has an affinity to dark blue or black jeans, black or white tennis shoes, and shirts similar to THIS. (too hard to explain myself... v_v His skin is fairly pale. It has a notable amount of color, but not a large amount.
    Crystal: Mind Crystal
Hybrid Appearance: Half-Espeon. The blue hair tint becomes purple. Hair on body become more fur-like. Tufts of fur protrude from his elbows and ankles. A purple tail has grown and splits at the end, like an Espeon's. His ears become more cat-looking.
Attacks: Psychic, Hypnosis, Morning Sun, Shadow Ball, Luster Purge
Pokemon Owned: Wryneck (Gengar, Female), Krake (Butterfree, Male)
Relations: Childhood friends with Imani Dune (classy_cat18).
Other: *teleports other to flaming pit* Mwahaha Ahaha haha haha

    Name: Seirei
    Species: Espeon
    Gender: Female
Personality: Very protective of those she is close too, but it can be difficult to get close to her. Somewhat shy in battle, due to her weak body, she simply tries to avoid it by running or distracting the opponent. Conversationally, she is a social butterfly! She will always be the center of attension, but she is not narcissistic in anyway.
Appearance: The Aurora Crystal that she posseses has become the gem in the middle of her forehead, rather than the normal red one.
    Crystal: Mind Crystal
Attacks: Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Morning Sun
    Other: *beam*

I'll try to finish my post and get it up ASAP. Although I'll still be busy, I should be able to get it up this Sat. or possibly earlier...

Again, I'm deeply sorry for making you guys wait, and also making CC control my character until now! Thanks for that! ^_^

OOC: Oooooh!!!! They can turn back to human?! Aww... I can't torture Deuse as much then xD;; hehehe
    Deuse: THANK THE GODS. =_=()
    ---------------
    Deuse Thespian|M|Plain Crystal
    Ezra|M|Plain Crystal|Guardian
    "Hate is a powerful emotion."
    ---------------------

Deuse flopped onto the grass, face down. He'd never been so glad to see and feel grassy ground before. "I never want to go through that EVER AGAIN."

"That was so so so funfunfun, sir!" enthused Faust, doing another cheerful gallop-on-the-spot. "Many regrets that I wasn't able to help that elegant Arcanine bring the ceiling down and block off the exit and hurt many many trainers, sir! And may I report the utmost congratulations on your makeover, sir! Eevee is an excellent choice, sir!! Just what I would have picked if I wasn't a Rapidash!!!"

    "Faust?"

    "Yes, sir?"

    "Just shut up."

Ezra sidled up to his charge, smirking, and looking not unlike the Ninetales nearby that was the guardian of the Umbreon hybrid with the perverted Arcanine. "News, fair Asmodeus. There's fear and loathing in Olivine City. Confirmed by words on the evening breeze."

Deuse sat up. His ears pricked as he caught snatches of conversation from everywhere: the Pidgeys roosting in the trees, the Nidorans scuttling into their burrows. Grudgingly, he admitted to himself the perks of having Eevee ears; all the local gossip going on for that day was about the Dark Phoenix. And apparently it was currently happily massacreing the population of Olivine, or to call it by the name that Deuse was more familiar with, Asagi City.

He then proceeded to do a head count. It may have been because Eevees were by nature pack animals (though of late by reason of their scarcity they were more often to be found alone, or rather, not at all) or because Deuse felt in some way responsible for allowing the phoenix to escape that he did so. He found two half-humans missing, and as Ezra hissed helpfully, "Mr Chaco, a rather talkative Totodile, and Miss Choriko the Bayleef."

About to go bring the issue of their missing comrades to the ears of everyone else, Deuse stopped in his tracks as Ezra added, lounging on a rock (ezra could lounge anywhere): "Oh yes. I neglected to tell you that you may be able to revert to your human form. Apologies." (and no matter how many apologies he uttered, he still managed to sound as if he didn't care a whit about your feelings)

Deuse grabbed Ezra by the ears in one swift, fluid movement. "You absolute sodding arse!"

The Persian hadn't turned a hair. "The people, Asmodeus. Think of the people, dying in droves. The ruins of buildings. The trainers, coming to the Phoenix like just so many moths to a flame. The missing knights. You can always try to kill me later." And then he smiled his vampire smile. "I doubt you could, though."

Disgusted, Deuse dropped Ezra back onto his rock and headed towards the Raichu girl, Imani, whom he personally clasified as the 'reluctant leader' type. She'd probably be able to get the others moving, something he didn't feel up to at the moment. He found her chatting with the Umbreon hybrid.

"'Scuse me, but there's word out among the local wild pokemon that the Dark Phoenix is torching Olivine Port. And we're two people short."

    ~~ Reana Brightwater/Lunar gem~

My life was over. It was official. I was a half-pokčmon, which wasn’t all bad- but the saviour of the day, Imani Dune, who’s pokčmon had prevented the stupid trainers from following us- and the first thing that happens, is that my perverted Arcanine moves in for the kill! Absolutely furious, I could only glare at him, as I was busy talking too Imani, who still seemed slightly shocked from her ‘encounter’ with Miroku’s curious nose. On the far side of the clearing, Ezra, a Persian, and his companion, a half-Eevee teen, pulled me back to reality, as he walked dover too talk with Imani. Most of our group was scattered, and the Evil Bird was on a rampage in Olivine.

And to add too my problems, Aphrodite was lounging around, re-buffing all my questions casually. Imani gave me a small smile as she conversed with beacon, and walked over, my pack clutched in one paw. “Want some chocolate?” She seemed surprised at the offer, but accepted it anyway. I flopped too the ground beside her, sighing dramatically. “We all need the sugar boost.” I solemnly informed her, before flashing a cheeky smile. Miroku slunk over towards me, and with a hard glare, I returned him too his pokčball, clipping it onto my belt. No way was I letting him out again in the near future.

Slightly curious about what new abilities I might have gained, I began playing experimentally with my claws, sliding them in an out, gaining control. Next, I focused on my hearing, surprised at the amount of gossip that was echoing around the trees that surrounded us. Pokčmon sure noticed a lot… With my stomach still full from my Auntie’s, added too the hectic flight, and of course, being turned into a pokčmon, I wanted nothing more than too sleep. I curled up on the grass fully intending too do so, when Aphrodite wandered over too me.

“get up.” She ordered, her tails lashing slightly. Grudgingly, I raised myself from the soft grass, and gave her an attempted glare. She ignored me, sitting elegantly with her tails wrapped around her, the silver tips waving slightly in the breeze. I groaned, before uttering a small snarl, feeling my muscles begin too tense up. “whaaattt?” I whined, finally propping myself into a half-seated position. She fixed me with a deep mauve gaze, and finally replied. “Is Miroku single?” The ludicrous nature of the question woke me up instantly.

“What the hell? Why do you even want too be in the same country as that perverted mongrel?” I was plainly amazed, and the Ninetales simply sighed, laying forward onto the grass, head resting on her paws. “Well, is he?” I could only nod numbly, paling slightly at the look of predatory glee on her face. “I so don’t get that.” I mumbled, before collapsing back onto the grass. “Hey, Imani, do you think we should camp here for the night? I mean, I know we where originally headed for Olivine, but we’ve only just been turned into pokčmon, plus add the stress of escaping from maniac trainers- I think we should all rest, and get used to our abilities. If we confront the Dark Phoenix like this, we won’t stand a chance.”

I waited a moment too make sure everyone had heard, before blushing slightly as my stomach rumbled audibly. “Plus, I’m hungry…” I laughed and sheepishly rubbed the back of my head, fiddling with the pokčgear t hat was hanging from my pocket. She looked slightly surprised that I had asked her, and I vaguely heard some one mumble something about her being a 'reluctant leader’. From the other side of the clearing, the tall, half-Eevee teen walked over saying, “I think that’s a good idea- night is already falling, which is when the Dark Phoenix’s power is at its greatest.”

Looking around at everyone, all I saw was dusty, tired people. I looked at my pack, before sighing, and offering with a bright smile, “There’s chocolate if you want it.” I always carried chocolate in my backpack- it was a staple of my diet, plus fruit and all that. Plus, it was a great source of energy, and comfort. Whilst I regretted my already low store being depleted, I had a feeling that everyone would need something in their stomachs, whilst we waited for dinner. As everyone discussed the suggestion, I called out, “Hey, if we’re staying, who’s cooking?” I knew it was rude too interrupt, but I felt the question was important. I wasn’t going to volunteer- I could barely cook meals that said ‘add water’.

I then flopped back onto the grass, ignoring a snarky remark from Aphrodite, who was busy grooming the dust from her body. I rolled my eyes, and relaxed. Maybe we could all go too my Aunties house in Ecruteak- I jerked my mind firmly from that thought, as tears welled in my eyes. I couldn’t, wouldn’t think on that, because if I did, I might just break down. Instead, I clung too my one hope- that somehow, if a reporter could survive the destruction caused by the Dark Phoenix, so could my family.

Imani and Beacon – Shock Crystal

They’re not here. How could I have missed them? They could be there right now. “You guys take a rest. I’m going to Olivine to get them. I’ll be right back. Oh, and there’s some fruit cups in my backpack if you want a little something to eat.” I let out Tiger and mounted her. Beacon clumsily jumped on with me. “Tiger, Extremespeed!” She took off at top speed, almost throwing Beacon off. My ears picked up sounds of frightened wild Pokemon among the trees.

Olivine was a mess. The city was up in flames. There were people and Pokemon screaming everywhere. My sensitive nose picked up different scents, most of which I didn’t like. The missing Knights and guardians could be anywhere.

“Ashley! Willow! Where are you? It’s me, Imani!” I yelled.

“Chaco? Choriko? Can you hear me?” Beacon joined in.

“Beacon? Is that you?” a small voice whispered from the shadows. Chaco poked his head out and sighed. “It is you! Where are the others?”

“Near the site. Listen, we need to get out of here! There is no way we can fight the Dark Phoenix like this! We need to regroup and rest,” Beacon said.

    “But the city…” Chaco started.

“It’s already gone, and the moon is high. If I heard you guys right, the Dark Phoenix is strongest during this time of night. Now where are Willow and Ashley?” I asked.

We followed Chaco to the others, who were in a hidden alley. They weren’t in the best shape. “So…how did it go?” I asked them casually.

    “Rough,” they said together.

“Come on, we’re getting you out of here. This is not the best time to fight that bird.” I helped Ashley to her feet and put her on Tiger. “Willow…”

“I’m not going!” she said stubbornly.

“Listen, big head! You are getting on that Arcanine and you will not look back!” I struggled to pull Willow on Tiger. “Girl, I hope you can take two passengers. I can ride Feather back.”

“Go with them, you two,” Beacon said to the other two guardians. They nodded and took off, leaving me and Beacon behind.

“Now I’m going to regret asking this out loud, but I’m gonna anyway. Where’s the Dark Phoenix?” As soon as the words were out of my mouth, I heard the flapping of wings and a loud screech. It was hovering above us, its eyes burning. We were out in the open and glued in place. Any sudden moves and we could be torched.

“It’s here,” Beacon whispered, glued in place.

My hand slowly reached for a pokeball. I had a better chance of outrunning the Phoenix’s attacks. All that was missing was some Wild West music, the kind that they play during a showdown. Now! I tossed the pokeball with a flick of the wrist and hit Beacon in her back, letting it draw her in. Sensing movement, the Dark Phoenix blew out a column of fire. Instead of dodging the attack like I should've done, I stared at the attack, my feet glued to the ground.

Move, stupid! My muscles fired as I jumped to the side, the fire grazing my back. I dove in an alley and waited for my heart to stop pounding so fast. "Dang, I hope the others made it out." I peeked around the corner to see if the Dark Phoenix was still there. It took off in the night, done with destroying Olivine. "Where are you going to now?" I pulled out Feather's pokeball and let her out, grabbing ahold of her beak before she could say anything. "Just take me to Tiger and I'll explain everything when we get there."

EDIT: I was getting bored, so I edited my post. By the way, where is everyone? No one posted over the weekend.

*grins sheepishly* heh, damn homework. At least I have a break tonight...

NOTE: This post contains very few interactions (if any) due to the sole purpose that I have a lot to read and little time to do it in. Then I have to post.
    ~|~|~|~|~
Kayla Kaze - Kaze no Koio

I lay down on my back, spreading my arms... er, wings, out to my sides. A small breeze picked up, carrying with it the faint scent of berries, the forest, and assorted Pokemon. Without realizing it, I had managed to tune out every little voice that was now coming my way. Geeze, Pokemon were annoying little chatterboxes sometimes.

There was a small shuffling next to me, which was also tuned out, until the scuffler spoke. To me. Directly. "Kayla?"

I slowly slid my eyes closed. Maybe if I ignore everything, I'll wake up in the forest and everything will be fine again. No phoenix, no Pokespeech, no whatever-I-was-now-part, no... "Kayla..."

Having possibly reached my limit of annoyances, surprises, and other little pinpricks for the day, I slowly opened an eye. "What do you want?"

This seemed to catch the Pidgeot standing closer to me than I'd ever thought I'd be to one; you know I never liked those little Pidgeys they came from, too annoying and too populous; off guard. What, like I wouldn't ask him? "Well... I just want to make sure... you're helping us stop the Dark Phoenix, right?"

I rolled to the side and snorted. "Of course not. What makes you think I want to? Risk my life and probably get killed, just so that I could save a world that is almost definetely made up in my mind?"

"If it's not real, then why are you afraid of getting killed?" Well, that was a dumb question also. Everyone is afraid of getting killed. Even in our own dreams, being killed is something everyone fears. Another small breeze came across my face. Along with something ticklish. Something that made me sneeze. Something blue. Something attatched to Kaze no Koio's head.

"Hey, isn't this supposed to be yellow?" I slowly felt the long feathers that were now occupying themselves on my lap. "Oh. It must be rain, then. It will rain soon."

I gave Koio the most believable 'what the hell are you talking about' face, then rolled onto my stomach. This was much comfier then my back. Huh. "If they decide on anything, wake me..."

GAAAAAHHHHH. *just had a terrible terrible week of exams* Although, today wasn't too bad, at least I got to sleep for almost the whole of the computer test...
    ---------
    Deuse Thespian|M|Plain Crystal
    Ezra|M|Plain Crystal
In which it rains. Quite heavily, in fact.
"oh where did the blue sky go? oh why is it raining so?"
    ----------------

There was, for a brief period of time, a deceptive lull in the glade. Everyone was too tired and/or hungry to follow Imani and Beacon on their almost-certain suicide mission; Deuse included. They wouldn't die, he reasoned; they had a one in a million chance of surviving an attack from the Dark Phoenix, and everybody who was anybody knew one in a million chances always turn out for the best. Besides, he had his own problems. For example, sheer exhaustion. His hunger pangs had subsided momentarily from shock, so he decided to catch up on his sleep.

It started raining, and big fat drops splashed onto Deuse's nose from the tree overhead.

A conversation was shortly to take place in the general area of Deuse and the tree and Ezra on the tree.

    "Ezra, it's positively pissing down."
"What fascinating language you use, Asmodeus."
"I thought cats didn't like rain."
"Actually, if you haven't noticed by now, I'm a vampire."
"No, really?" (said, hopefully.) "Would stakes work? I'm sure I could make a bleeding stake from this branch, right here-"
    "I was joking."
    "[impolite word]."
A little moment later, the conversation resumed in a desultory manner.
    "It's getting [impolite word] muddy."
"Well, what would you expect I do, then? Run blindly into the darkness in the general direction away from Olivine and mass destruction in search of shelter, with the extremely high risk of a certain evil phoenix frying my arse, pardon my Klatchian?"
    "That would be favourite."
"Oh, do be quiet, Thespian. That's a good boy." (in an undertone) "I should have asked Mr Koio for the weather report."

Deuse woke up the next morning to muddy elbows and a litter of Meowth kittens apparently mistaking him and his tail for a sofa. He shoved them off unceremoniously into the underbrush and headbutted the tree until Ezra dropped down onto the mud, cursing. "Your relations have been visiting."

"I'm not from around here, you cretin. My ancestral home is in Kanto." The Persian leapt onto a rock and began cleaning himself decorously. "I now think I should have stayed there."

"Yeah? I'm from Kanto, and I wish I'd stayed there, too." Deuse looked around at the collection of sleeping creatures in the glade. "Whaddaya know, we're first up." He picked up the end of his mud-caked tail, grimacing. "Yuk- this is going to be a bugger to wash."

He remembered Imani's fruit cups, suddenly, probably because he hadn't eaten, and neither had any of his Pokemon, in just about over twenty-four hours.

Deuse had one for himself, Faust ate two, Piero ate three all in one gulp before Deuse could stop him and Ishtar snorted in disgust at them- she was carnivorous - saying she didn't want any, she'd go hunting later. Ezra disappeared somewhere, possibly to maim and kill some poor Raticate for breakfast. Then he remembered Imani herself, guiltily, and realized that none of them who had gone to Olivine had come back. Yet.

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

    Kaia - Flame Crystal
    ---------------
I rummaged through my backpack, which I had totally forgotten about during the ruckus but amazingly clung to my back after the change. Taking out cans of Pokemon food and dried meat, I instructed Nightshade and Orion to look for dry wood while Aries made himself comfortable a little ways from me.
"Do you know how Imani and the others are faring right now?"
"Well, with the limited psychic ability that I have, it's rather fuzzy but I'm almost positive that they're losing badly.
I nodded to my Pokemon as the came back with a stack of firewood and started to dig a small hole before putting them in place.
    "Shouldn't we help them?"
"Even if we could, I doubt anyone would be of much help. The sun will rise soon and the Dark Phoenix will hide for the day. Besides, they're smart crystal bearers so I would think they would know when to escape. Once we rest up and regroup, we'll be ready to fight and make sure he won't destroy another city."
I turned back to the prepared pit and stuck my tail into the fire, the blue and black flames giving off an eerie but entrancing light, causing all of us to stare at it for minutes before we had to turn our heads away. Aries moved closer as I held the meat over on a stick and the other dug into their meal.
"Since I hold the flame crystal, doesn't that mean I'm immune to fire?"
    "I suppose so. Try it."
Slowly sticking my hands into the flames, I felt a tickling and warm sensation, unlike searing pain a normal person would feel. Pulling it back out, a line of fire came out with it, entwined around my hands.
"So I can control fire on a whim as well..." I breathed.
"Yeah, you can do a lot of things," Aries replied. "Did I ever tell you that you could change back into your human form and talk to humans even when you've changed?"
I glared sidelong at him before huffing.
"I don't see any reason to change back into my normal self for now. This form suits me well enough..."
As if right on cue, thunder crashed in the sky as raindrops started to fall down, lightly at first until a downfall ensued minutes later.
"Just bloody brilliant," I mumbled and ran over to the nearest dense tree before placing myself under it, Aries and Orion following closely behind and Nightshade dead last, packpack and canned Pokemon food in his hands.
"Well, thank you for leaving this with me," he said snidely and dropped the backpack in my lap.
"So," I ignored Nightshade, "how do I change back?"
"Just think about being a human, how it feels and stuff like that."
Concentrating on walking like a human and going to school, I felt my tail, claws and wings shrink back into my body and myself grow smaller untill I was back to my normal height.
"Man, being tall was fun," I grumbled.
Settling ourselves against the trees and getting close to warm ourselves up, we watched the others run for the nearest copses and waited for our missing comrade's inevitable return.

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

Sorry, tried posting yesterday when my computer kinda freaked out... Anyway!

    ----------------------
Ashley and Chaco/Terra and Aqua Crystal
    ----------------------

"Oh..." I moaned, still attempting to make myself stand up.

"You'll give yourself a broken back!" said Chaco cheerfully. Cheerfully? Did he want me to die?

"Shut up you stupid pokemon!" I yelled, then reeled back in pain from trying to shake my fist at him.

"Where does it hurt?" asked Wartortle, looking concerned.

"Where do you think?" I snapped at him, "It hurts everywhere...!"

"Oh..." said Wartortle, shutting up. Obviously this was not the time to talk to me.

My head felt like it was in a vice; after all, I had never been thrown violently like that more than once in my whole life (what? How was I supposed to know what chemicals NOT to mix?).

Willow laid next to us, looking towards Olivine.

"We should be out there kicking that thing's butt!" I said, feeling anger rise up in me.

"I know," said Willow, a stuborness still audible in her voice.

My back gave another shot of pain up me. "Ahh! Don't you have anything in that side-bag of yours to help us?" I asked Chaco, pointing to his bag.

Chaco looked at the bag. "Oh yes! In fact I do!"

He rumaged around the pack for a few minutes, before bringing out two huge berry-like objects. I blinked.

"How are those going to help you idiot?!" I yelled, not seeing the berries for what they really were.

"You're part pokemon, right? Well, these berries will speed up your healing rate. They grow wild in some areas, so I've acquirred a few over a short period of time. They're called Healeo Berries!"

"You made that name up yourself; didn't you?" I asked, not impressed.

"Yep! Now, here ya' go!" he said handing one to me, and then one to Willow.

I was still skeptical, but I figured no harm could come of it. So I swallowed the thing down after ripping it to pieces with my new fangs. It tasted a little bitter, but that didn't bother me much; I like things with a bit of zip.

Willow had eaten hers too, but still looked as if she wanted to help her city.

"Don't worry! It's almost daytime! Yay!" babbled Chaco in the same cheery tone he used earlier.

"What are you babbling about?" I asked him, hoping it was something good for once...

"Hmm... I babbled? I'm sorry... Anyway! Daytime is when the Dark Phoenix goes away! So it won't be destroying anything," he said, nodding as he did so.

I looked up to the sky, and saw that light was beginning to peek over the horizon. "You sure?" I said, not trusting him.

"He's right," said Choriko, "The Dark Phoenix will leave soon."

"I hope Imani hung on for that long..." I said, straining my eyes to see the city.

"Hey Choriko!" said Willow, "Maybe you could go see how Imani's doing? Then you can lead her back to us so she'll know where we are!"

Choriko nodded, and swiftly left to go find Imani and the others. And it didn't take her long either.

Imani-sama, what happened? You have ears! And a tail! Kawaii!” Feather said happily as soon as I let go of her beak.

“How about we not talk about this and just find the others?” I asked her with an annoyed tone.

“What others?” she asked me. “Were we visiting someone?”

I slapped a hand to my forehead. Of course! I didn’t even tell her about the trip yesterday! I slid down the wall that I was leaning against and instantly felt the pain in my back. “Ow! Forgot about this! This was my favorite shirt, too! And my favorite jeans!”

Imani-sama, should we go somewhere?” Feather asked me.

“I don’t know where we came from.”

    “What about Ecruteak?”

“It’s gone, Feather. Something big came and torched the place like it torched this place.” I didn’t want to tell her too much. That would mean that I would have to answer question after question. I felt drowsiness come over me, but it was always stopped by the burning pain in my back and leg.

“Imani? Where are you?” a voice called out. Thinking it was Feather, I ignored it.

    “She’s over here!” Feather yelled.

I was wide awake then. “Feather, don’t do that! What if it’s…”

A green head appeared from around the corner. “Are you okay?”

I painfully got up. “I’m alive, if that’s what you mean, Choriko. Have you found the others? Tiger should know where they are.”

“We stopped so I could lead you to them.”

“Good idea.” I climbed on Feather. “Lead the way.” She ran to find Willow and Ashley with me and Feather following her. The two Aurora Knights were with Tiger by the side of the road. I landed and waved to them.

“Hey guys. Got anything to treat a burn?” Chaco walked up and handed me a large berry. “What’s this?”

    “It’s a Healeo Berry!”

“I’ve never heard of one of those.” I still ate it quickly. “Now let’s get back to the others.”

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

Alright, I'm finally here to catch up. Sorry for the delay. And just for my own convenience of not having to go back and forth to the signup topic and pages to see it, I am putting the desc. on the draco crystal and my char.'s hybrid appearance.

Draco Crystal – Is an orange color; will increase the power of dragon type attacks and will turn you into a dragon type hybrid. You’ll be able to change the weather any way you choose.
Hybrid Appearance: Part-flygon. Her hair becomes yellow-green. A long green spike comes out of the top of her forehead, but is a little shorter then one that would be on a flygon. She gains flygon wings, and a tail. Her body in general is somewhat more stream-lined. Her eyes are still the fiery amber color, but there is a certain ruby metallic hue to them. She still wears her two outfits, though she has to find special ways of getting them to fit.

    Anyway, time for postage!

    ..::Kaida Ryuu & Naomi-Draco Crystal::..

I didn't really keep track of the time that went by as we followed the strange red flygon. Darias let out a low grunt, almost like a moan. And I knew it was because he did not really trust following it. But I simply put my arm around his neck as we walked and even though he occasionally grumbled in complaint, for the most part he was quiet.

I was happy to see that Lina, who had been laid on Darias's back near Nagi, was beginning to show signs of recovery. She sat up against Nagi and watched the flygon intently, I guessed that she to did not fully trust the flygon. But it was understandable.

The flygon strutted a few feet ahead of me, and I saw it slowing down and eventually stopping at an opening to the tunnel. It's entire body stiffened, as if in shock. It ran it's small hands through the rubble of rock at the base of the opening. Then it looked up again at the sound of voices.

I almost ran forward and into the room, but I was stopped by the whip-like reaction of the flygon's tail that pulled me back. And peering up I gasped.

The room was a giant chamber, and in the center a huge bird was blowing fire from it's beak. It reminded me almost of the pictures I'd seen of the legendary bird, ho-oh, but this huge demonic bird was a peircing black. And I had no time to watch it longer because as the flames grew stronger, the ceiling crumbled leaving a massive hole. And through the hole the huge black bird dissapeared.

"um...what just happened?" I said staring blankly at the flygon who said nothing, but without warning began to nudge me forward. And then in front of a ring of floating crystals that unless I hadn't noticed them before while being distracted by the giant bird, had just appeared there.

And they were all so beautiful, hovering like specks of rainbow from a chandelier in the sunlight. And I saw one that seemed to pull at me, and the feeling welled up inside me. I stepped towards the crystal, it was a warm amber color. The crystal was so smooth, it's edges ran up, almost resembling a set of horns. And it intruiged me, the light that glinted from torches around the room ran through the smooth shape and into my eyes. Without thinking about it anymore, I reached out and touched it. Sudddenly the burning orange that the crystal had resembled was running through my body and causing my whole body to turn numb. And I felt over powered by it, like my insides were being ripped apart. And with that everything went black...

    ***Some time afterwards***

    "Kaida, Kaida please wake up!"

"urgh...what?" I opened my eyes and blinked as the room began to come into focus.

"Kaida! you are awake! Are you okay?" A strange nasally voice said.

Blinking again, I saw the tiny black form of Lina standing on my chest looking at my with a relieved expression on her face.

"Lina? What happened? wait... were you just talking?"

"I can explain that," The flygon walked into view, and nudged Lina of my stomach. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I was cofused by what felt like a weight on my forehead, so reching up I felt a hard surface, like a horn. I ran my finger down it, wondering what it was and then I found that it came down to my forehead and was connected to my scalp, and it felt like a jolt of electricity ran through my body and I jumped up in surprise. Discovering also a tail and wings now part of me. As well as my hair becoming a weird shade of light green. I swallowed, I was prepared to scream at the top of my lungs but the flygon quickly stepped forward to stop me.

"Let me explain," It said quickly, then gathered it's breath." first off my name is Naomi. I am one of the pokemon that gaurded the sealed chamber of the evil pokemon, the dark pheonix."

"you mean the giant black bird that blew up the ceiling?"

"Yes... that bird" She said airily before returning to her speech, "anyway. It is now loose and you as well as some others have recieved the gifts of the crystals."

    "you mean the orange one"

"Yes," she said annoyed at being interrupted again,"You have become part pokemon, a flygon like myself to be specific. And so as you have discovered, you can comprehend and talk pokemon. I am your gaurdian, it is your mission to defeat the dark pheonix before it lays waste to the world. And plummet it into darkness once more."

There was a rise of tension at the silence that followed but the flygon quickly spoke up again.

"You have been unconsious for to long, all the others have already left."

"Why am I always late!?!" I yelled.

"You can't blame this one on me," Darias piped in from behind.

"Darias!" I shouted turning and leaping to him, wrapping my arms aroud his thick neck. "I am so glad nothing happened to you!"

"Don't forget about me" Nagi mused landing on his back and I nestled my now oddly shaped head into her soft feathers.

"I am so glad you are safe. Who knows what could have happened."

"Well you aren't looking all the same either. What is that glass in your hand?"

"What?" I lookled to see half of the amber jewel embedded into my skin. "woah. But where is the other half?"

"Right here" The flygon said. It held up it's hand, the other half of the jewel was embedded simialarly in it's hand, "Now we have to get going. By listening to the others, I learned of the dark pheonix's appearance in Olivine city."

"Then we have to go and stop it!"

"I think it would be wise to locate the others before confronting the dark pheonix"

"Well don't you think they might have gone to Olivine by now? And even if they aren't there, I am not going to let it get away with this!"

Naomi blinked, and closed her eyes looking down and a small grin passing over her face, "I see Kaida, there is no way to argue with you. But you must take caution."

    "I will," I said nodding.

    "Then let's go!" Nagi cawed.

I got onto Darias's back, wasn't really sure how to take off. And he knew. Lina got on him behind me, and nagi quickly flapped and began to fly in midair.

"We'll go out through the hole the dark pheonix made, ust follow me!" And Naomi took off out the hole.

With a loud roar, Darias took off, darting up and out the hole with Nagi out only moments after. Naomi was fast, and I cold tell that Darias did not go at full speed because he felt my lack of balance. So Naomi, in turn lagged behind also. I foung what had me off balance, was the odd shape my body had taken on, although I was still human, despite the flygon appendages, I felt as though my body had been flattened and stetched, almost serpentine but wider at my torso.

"I need to try to fly," I said over the whipping winds.

"But you don't know how!" Lina cried, tightening her grip around my waist.

"But I have to try, we'll never get there if I don't."

Lina knew that I couldn't be argued with. Despite the fear I felt, I was set on this. And when I really wanted to do something, I wasn't about to give up. With a quick signal throughout our flight formation Darias flattened himself out.

"Be careful," He said turning to me.

"Don't worry." And I brought myself closer to him, I felt the warm vibration of his hearbeat coming to me, and the force of each wingbeat. It shook through my body, and even went to the tips of my wings. And I let go, they slowed down to stay stationary watching me carefully.

And I let myself freefall for a moment, like the roar of wind had become silent and I was falling into oblivion. But then I realised Lina was still clinging to my waist, sitting on my back. Holding herself tight to me just as I had to Darias. And I felt the vibrations again, going through my body and echoing at last to my wings. My eyes opened to a new light, and I felt myself dive forward. And lifting my wings up and flat they flapped so fast you could not see them and making a tranquille cascade of notes buzz from them like a hummingbird. And I looked at myself in astonishment. It was like being weightless, Lina opened her eyes and looked into mine, and she smiled and I felt myself swelling up.

And I rose up, ascending to the clouds with my new found talent. IT came so naturaully to me, like I already had done this a million times. But I was still feeling the crisp taste of energy flowing around me for the very first time.

I just stayed still, fluttering quickly above the landscape of clouds. The gentle notes echoed only in what felt like my mind. It was as though the entire world had been jammed into my eyes at once. And I let myself fall, just slowly fall limp, but tightening up and diving down. I flitted in and out of the clouds like a mantine diving in and out of the water. It was brilliant and elegant and fufilling. And I came to the center of the formation of Nagi, Darias and Naomi. They looked at me, partly in amazement and acknowledgemt, and partly in joy.

So with a quick nod we were off again. Lina went onto Darias's back, for he could fly with just her faster then I could. And I flew in the front, with Naomi only inches in front of me but stationary at my side. The sound of notes came frm not only her wings, but mine. And it was like some song that had suddenly found a new world, just like myself.

When we neared Olivine, I felt as though a surge of heat crashed into me like a brick wall. The town was ablaze, the huge bird roared out, blanketing the town in flames. And the glorious joy and freedom I had felt was suddenly destroyed. Watching the trainers try there best to attack the bird destroying their town, I felt such anger as the dark pheonix swept them away in a flick of it's massive wing. AS if they were flakes of dust. I could not speak, because I felt like the wind in my lungs had gone dry. But then they didn't need air, because all I exsisted on was the heat boling through my veins. I felt like every inch of skin was crawling with boiling water. It pumped through my veins, and scolded the insides of my skull.

And then I realised that my body was on fire. But it was not burning me, nor was in normal fire. It was more like pulsating energy that was like a cloud of smoke in blades like fire, it glowed blue and red. And then I stared at the dark pheonix, the fire grew and then all the boiling anger poured out of me like water from a teakettle. It shot forward in a stream towards the dark pheonix who just noticed it and cried out in surprise as the blue flames engulfed it and singed it's already night black feathers.

It cried out in rage, a roar that echoed so loud. It was as if it had become the air itself. And the flames catapulted from it's body, the patches were they had been still glowed with blue ashes that faded into it's body. The flames hovered, then sdissapated and the dark pheonix turned to me. My body began to glow, bright pink, and I felt like my body was being crushed.

"Kaida!" My pokemon cried. They didn't stay still a moment longer. Darias began to form a hyper beam, and then shot the mass of energy into the dark pheonix, followed by a shadow ball and a gust.

Then Naomi dived into me, breaking off the pink force that had been constricting me. The dark pheonix slouched, breathing. But it stood up again, recealing that it was more surprised then hurt despite the manuvers of my pokemon.

"Are you okay?" Naomi began, we still flew but she held me in her arms.

"uh... I am okay under the circumstances." I said wheezing.

Darias and Nagi came to fly by her side and then I saw the dark pheonix drawing back it's neck, fire collecting, "watch out!"

But it was to late, the wave of flames washed over us. Lina had ben the only one to react, turning quickly and using ice beam, pushing every once of energy she had to create a wall of ice. The fire clashed with the ice, we bagan to dive. The fire bursted through it and caught us in a tornado of flame. Lina still blew ice over me and the others. But I was loosing focus, my body was singed and burning, screaming with pain.

The last I felt, was us falling. The mist of water vapor from Lina's last attempt dousing the flames but I could not feel any part of me. I wouldn't know what to expect now. I could only imagine hurtling into the earth, to damaged to make it. But even this image was ended abrubtly as I fell into darkness...

That was wayyy long. But I am finally caught up. I admire anyone who read the whole thing.
Interaction or no interaction. I can get on either way, but whichever happens will determine the outcome of certain things. So whew, now I will go pass out

Imani and Beacon – Shock Crystal

“Imani, I’m so glad you’re safe!” Tiger said happily as I wobbled beside her. She took on a worried tone as she glanced at my burns. “Would you like to ride the rest of the way?”

I winced as a breeze hit my burns. “No, I’m fine. We’re almost there anyway. The first thing I’m going to do when we get there is take a nice, long nap.” Tiger nodded in agreement. I looked ahead and saw the others. “Hey guys, look who I found!”

Heads popped up and hands waved. I jogged the rest of the way and waved back. “It’s nice to be back. I hope everyone’s here.” My ears perked as the chatter of the local Pokemon started up again.

“I heard another humanlike Pokemon fight the Dark Phoenix…”

    “I heard it looked like a Flygon…”

My ears drooped and I felt my legs get weak. “Um, don’t tell me that I left someone.” I plopped down on the ground. “I’m just too tired to check. Someone else go; I’m staying here.”

    Default Pokemon: Crystal Storm STARTS!

    Must post...
    ~~Willow~~
That healo berry kicked in quickly and i felt much better very quickly. Sneasels must be very hyper pokemon because i felt energetic.
"Um, don’t tell me that I left someone. I'm just too tired to check. Someone else go; I'm staying here." Imani said. She looked shattered. I owed her my life. The least i could do was go find the one person who was missing...
    "I'll go." I offered.
    "Willow. No. You'll-"
"No, you're wrong. I won't go fighting the dark pheonix again. That was stupid and i'm sorry i did. I'll go and come back as quickly as i can. And if i do anything stupid then Choriko will tell you cos she's coming with me, right Choriko?" I reasoned.
"I guess i have no choice... Lets go!" She said happily.
Imani sighed, "Go on then... But hurry. And please don't do anything stupid."
    "I won't."
I ran as fast as i could along the route back to Olivine. Choriko followed but a little further behind.
We finally got there. There was nobody around. I sighed. They were either all dead or in hiding. The Dark Pheonix was no where to be seen as the sun had already risen.
I found the Flygon hybrid quickly. She hadn't got much further into the town that i had.
"Cho... You don't mind me calling you Cho, right?"
"No, i think that's a rather cute name" she smiled and giggled.
"Cho, try and revive her for me. I'm gonna have a hard time carrying her otherwise. I've gotta go check-"
"You said you wouldn't do anything stupid!"
"I'm not going to! I'm going back to my house to check everything is okay... And i'm gonna grab some food too if the house is still standing..."
Cho looked at me sympathetically. "Okay, don't be too long."
I nodded and quickly ran to my house which was by the sea. I was amazed. It was still standing! Everything around it was burnt except it! That meant... my family is okay!
I pushed open the front door and peered inside. Hiro, my older brother, was cleaning up. I snuck into the kitchen and grabbed as much food as i could without letting them starve. Hiro noticed me as i left.
"MOM! There's a Sneasel here trying to steal our food!" He yelled.
"Shut up, Hiro! It's me, Willow. I'm sorry, i have to go. That Pheonix is partly my falt and i have hungry people waiting. Please understand." I said quickly. "Oh, and don't tell Mom!"
He smiled and nodded. I was actually speaking human again! I shoved the food inside my bag and ran for it.
    "Where's that Sneasel gone?"
"Sorry, Mom, i couldn't catch up with it..."
I sighed. He was a good brother.
"Got everything?" Asked Cho as i arrived.
"Yeah." I turned to the Flygon girl who was awake but still half asleep, "I'm Willow. I know you probably want to rest, but we really have to get to the others. We can rest there."
She nodded and got up slowly. "I'm Kaida... Shouldn't we be going after the Pheonix again?"
I turned away from her, "No... I promised not to do anything stupid..." I blinked to stop my tears. I knew that i loved Olivine but the world came first. "Come on. It's not too far. Dragonair will help."
I released Dragonair. She stared at me. "What happened to you?"
"Doesn't matter now. We've gotta get back. Help Kaida. Choriko, you follow on behind. I'll lead the way."
We set off at a slower pace back to the others...
