Chrno Crusade off the fanservers

I read about this last month, and I really like the look of it. Nice idea, great sketches, and an interesting love story.

Problem is...the licensers are beginning to wake up these days! ADV and co. have moved in on this one as well, fresh from their capture of Maburaho.

*sigh* I really wanted to get this series. Looks like I'll be waiting for a "very" long while, unless there is some server that dares to try subbing it all. A couple did for Ghost in the Shell, so they might try.

This one was more expected. ADV licensed the manga last October when teh anime was starting, I believe, and already got the deal around February, apparently. They just recently released it...

As for availability, CC is one of the most popular series around, hell, it's KNOWN FOR having 34093049024920392039^34924094 groups doing it... some of who will stop, and some of who will hurry to finish more eps to fill the void. There will be CC torrents going around for a very long time. I can help you on this one... >_> <_<

In case you want my rusty two cents on the show, it's entertaining all right, but it certainly lacks in some areas: many good plot elements and devices from the manga were completely lacking, and some parts were totally rushed. Many people were led to believe it only had 13 eps at first, but it apparently has 24 (or 26?) eps now. (this is at least partially true: it has gone past episode 13...)
It's pretty enough, considering it's Gonzo: very flash OP sequence, but a very simple yet beautiful ED sequence. Animation so-so. Yeah.... the songs are also not bad, I can help with that too >_> <_< Story's... ok (but like I said I believe they cut out a fair bit or something), characters aren't particularly inspiring (but then again I kind of stopped around ep 8)... Rosette pisses me off...

Let's just hope another Urban Vision/Bandai event doesn't happen...

You might want to get the manga; I've heard it was better than the show...
One thing is though, the whole concept wasn't really my kind of thing... just seemed a little tasteless, I dunno.

A pretty good anime but the problem is that the story seems a bit lengthly at 50 plus episodes. And the fantasy is also a bit too much. Come on when has the fight between God and Satan beomes a Triple Threat?

However I'm pretty sure that there would still be some fansub servers that would continue to fansub this anime. The same as Gundam Seeds! I remembered that when they liscened Gundam Seeds, I continue to get my Gundam Seeds episodes from Bitorrent throught Dark Arts Fansub!

50+ episodes? Where did you get that from? According to the official website, it's 24 episodes: 18 normal eps and 6 OVA eps, or something like that.

Gonzo is getting less popular among many CC fans because it appears they have anally violated the manga to produce the TV series.
