What luck! I just finished another reffing, so I'll definitely take this one!

I'll take you on! I choose Amity, my female Igglybuff.

Okay Amity, let's show no mercy! Toxic Totodile's wee eyes! And make sure that it at least slows him down. Now while he's running around in blindness, use Safeguard. Finally, try to get behind him and use Shadowball! But make sure to get him straight in the back.

ok totodile use protect to stop that Toxic attack, then Ice Beam while Igglybuff is using Safeguard. Finish off by using Toxic on Igglybuff yourself

*~*~*PRE-BATTLE*~*~*

A speedboat tears rapidly over the ocean waves as it heads for its destination – a large block of ice. It will be an interesting arena for a Pokemon battle, but the trainers must reach it quickly or else the warm waters will melt the ice back into its liquid form. The boat comes to a halt alongside the icy mass and a PokeBall is immediately hurled into the air. Out pops an exuberant Totodile, hopping around the surface of the ice and almost falling over. A second trainer on the boat releases another PokeBall and a delightful Igglybuff materializes onto the ice. Somewhere in the air, a whistle is blown and the trainers look skyward to see that their referee has arrived as well and has started the battle.

As the battle commences, the Igglybuff giggled slightly before puffing up like a balloon and releasing a purple stream of toxins directly at the Totodile’s eyes. Acting fast, the Totodile formed a protective shield in front of him and watched as the poisonous liquid splattered harmlessly against it, like raindrops on the surface of a window.

Unhappy with this, the Igglybuff decided to protect herself as well. She generated a bright green veil around her body to hinder any potential status effects. Meanwhile, the Totodile took a deep breath and fired an icy blue beam at his pink opponent. There was a bright flash and Amity rolled backwards, nearly off the edge of the ice floe. But she steadied herself and bounced back in to face her reptilian adversary.

Amity used her soft rubbery skin to her advantage as she bounced clear over the Totodile’s head and landed behind him. She quickly formed an orb filled with dark ghostly energy and launched it at the Totodile’s back. The blast sent the crocodile reeling along the slippery surface of the ice, but with quick reflexes, he turned around and fired his own Toxic attack. But the Igglybuff’s Safeguard protected her from being poisoned, as the green veil deflected the toxic substance.

Ok Totodile, I want you to call up a massive wave and use Surf on that Igglybuff. Continue by using Slash and finish with a Water Gun.

Sub: If Igglybuff uses any status changing moves eg. Toxic, use Protect to avoid it.
