I dont like cheats because you will always know in the back of your mind that you havent legitimatly done anything plus its like using a guide why pay more for something that makes the game shorter and easier
I usually use a Gameshark or Action Replay for one reason: To get things that can be done legally within a short amount of time. Such examples are max DVs. It can be done legally, but the odds are so slim that your game clock will have reached 999:99 by the time you do get one, and you'll have to restart anyway. It was SO much easier to get max DVs in GSC.
Of course if you want me to give out some codes, just drop me a PM.
Yeah but is it really fair that someone could spend hundreds of hours getting DV's but then u just be lazy cheat and have the best pokemon?
Aside from the hardware cheating devices, there simply don't seem to be many built in codes or goodies in the pokémon games (I dislike the term "cheat" for hidden features). I suspect there may still be hidden goodies waiting to be activated. Some that might count are:
The five special berries that the Berry Master's wife gives you for the following phrases:
Great Battle
Challenge Contest
Super Hustle
Overwhelming Latias
Cool Latios
The hidden Feebas tiles and the ability to reset them by changing the catchphrase.
Breeding Azuril and Wynaut
Shinies
These sort of have the role of hidden levels, extra characters and costumes that count as "cheats & codes" in other games. There may well be more that Nintendo/Game Freak are keeping silent about (i.e. what IS it with that white rock outside the space centre??)

The GREEN Pokémon master!

wut happens wen u bread azuril and wynaut?
Nothing. But breeding to get an Azurill can be considered "unlocking a hidden character" because there's no other way to get an Azurill, and what you have to do to get one isn't exactly obvious either. I actually disagree with rinku about Wynaut being the same way because you can get a Wynaut egg in Lavaridge without having to do any breeding or anything else complex. Just walk up to the woman and ask.

Pokémon GO: Level 37, Team Mystic
i've never used gameshark on r/s unless to get a normaly unobtainable pokmeon. exploiting glitches on the other hand, i have duplicated master balls back in the older games
