Starting Starcraft Clan?!?!?

I've thought about getting back into bnet for a while, and I've decided to create a clan. Not just any clan. In fact, clan TPM. =X

I'll be on East. I haven't created a name but I'll most likely be TPM-strat or something similar. It'd help alot if at the servers we're at, we have a clan member who can build a channel bot, so I don't have to screw around trying to find our channel or do other crap involving channel work because I hate that.

If you guys want to sign up, just state the server and maybe if you want your acct. name you will want to make.

e.g.
USEast
TPM-strat

if you think this is pointless, do whatever. pm me with rank ideas or whatever.

Lost the original CD (always used Broodwar), so I'm out.

Played the game to death anyways, I'd rather get some mileage out of Warcraft III.

I can play original Starcraft with my Brood War CD. That is, original Starcraft over battle.net . Single player needs the original CD, but original online can be played with Brood War CD.

I realize that, but you must understand that I uninstall Starcraft about two years ago. And the Original CD is needed for install.

Seriously. Warcraft II was fine for its time, but Starcraft is superior. I don't compare War3 to either because it's a different kind of RTS.

the clan will be up and running starting probably around june 15th, because i'm grounded until the summer.

so this can be closed or whatever until the summer, than re-opened to the public for use of signups, etc. or don't close it.

Warcraft 2 is still the greatest RTS of all time. It had a huge fan base even before Battle.net, and still has hundreds of hardcore followers who play every day... Warcraft 2 was probably the first real gaming community, and you without it, Blizzard never would've been put on the map... hell even now, Warcraft 2 is a more balanced and more competitive game than Starcraft... they are both great though, two of the greatest of all time, and easily the best two RTS of all time

yes, starcrat does own warcraft 2 you incapable dumb****, now while your learning to copy.. and by the way can you word this number for me 100000000^2938571902385712903468723904682739075972 485340576 because it is so extremely large that im wondering that seeing as you can't SPELL, can you COUNT? maybe you mean to remove the space and the ^ and start it with a minus, which would make sense, you shitty starcraft player, by the way, starcraft is for the Koreans who dont have any brain and can't figure out that you dont rush in a 4v4 when you have a neighbour..

Anyways, anyone who thinks starcraft did everything warcraft II did can bite me, and note that by quoting any part of this post in a reply, you are going to address a point I made, which may be a rebuttal or just something that you really agreed with and felt the need to discuss further.

This is only spelling errors I saw. It's late, so there may be more. And you're grammar is horrible. Whoever taught you English should be fired. Note that I am not tooting my own horn, but just saying that you probably shouldn't attack someone on grammar and spelling if you own grammar and spelling equally sucks ass.

Consider this a warning for being a jackass and a bit of an idiot. I don't mind expression of opinion,, but once you have stated "I like X better than Y" the posts that follow had damn well mention why you feel that way. You also need to learn to debate.

So, because Warcraft II set the stage for Starcraft, which is the better RTS, Warcraft II is better for that reason? Ever considered why most sequels are considered better than the originals (examples: GTA, SSX, Pro Evolution Soccer)?

Warcraft II is balanced for one reason: the Orcs and the Humans are EXACTLY THE SAME. That is pointless. If you want balance in Starcraft, just have two of the same race fight each other. Starcraft has better tactical balance; Zerg were cheap to build at the start but weren't very strong, Protoss were strong but expensive and humans were the average (although the Marine was the best starter unit by far). And of course who could forget...

wtf, orcs and humans are exactly the same?? are you entirely stupid? or have you just never played warcraft 2 online against anyone who is good, humans at castle can't go knights against an orc who is fortress so you have to use mages, gryphons and demolition squads to avoid getting stomped by 20+ bloodlusted ogres.

umm Raz, only one point in that post.. i was indirectly replying to someone who spelt it starcrat so now i think you get it no, also thanks for your opinion, you now agree with every word that comes out of my keyboard, mouth or other form of communication eg. Morse Code, Flags etc.

Does your brain properly function? Or is set to a strange frequency that translates everything into you being right? You attacked someone based on spelling, yet your own post was riddled with bad grammar and spelling. That's called hypocracy. You try to avoid that in debates.

Your next post had better have 95% less stupidity than the previous two, or we're going to have serious problems.

EDIT: And the difference between Orc and Humans is MUCH MUCH MUCH less than the three races in Starcraft. Both sides completely symmetrical units, the only difference being the spells of their casters. This does lead to different tactics at the Castle level, but War2 just can't compare to the racial diversity of Starcraft. Does this make it a inferior game? Not for me. I just find a lot of management functions in Starcraft to be better.
